I stayed here overnight in transit through Singapore, and while there were definitely some highlights, there were also a few areas that need improvement. Positives first: The location is fantastic—extremely convenient and well-situated. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, attentive, and highly customer-focused. We were checked in while seated, with the team coming to us and clearly explaining everything about the hotel. This level of hospitality was a real standout and very much appreciated after a long journey. However, the room itself fell short of expectations. There was visible black mould in the shower and also next to the bed head (see photos), which was concerning from a health and cleanliness perspective. The air conditioning was preset to 24°C and felt a bit stuffy, with no option to adjust the temperature. Additionally, there was noticeable dust in hidden areas like around the TV, and the LED light on the TV was very bright at night with no apparent way to turn it off. While I understand this is a budget hotel, cleanliness should be a non-negotiable, and the presence of mould suggests that the rooms may need more thorough servicing and perhaps some renovation work to bring them up to standard. In short, great service and location, but the room conditions need attention, especially with regard to hygiene and comfort.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Value & Exceptional Service at Ibis Budget Clarke, Singapore My wife and I recently stayed for two nights at the Ibis Budget Clarke Hotel in Singapore, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Yes, the room and bathroom were on the smaller side — but that’s typical for Singapore and honestly not an issue for us. The space was cozy, clean, and perfect for resting after a day of exploring the city. Where this hotel truly shines is in its service. From the moment we arrived, the front-of-house team impressed us with their organization, warmth, and professionalism. We arrived nearly an hour earlier than our check-in time, but they were already expecting us, and to our delight, our room was ready. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered — even the younger clerks — greeted us with genuine smiles, offered assistance without hesitation, and radiated positive energy. Breakfast next door was also a pleasant surprise, with friendly staff and an upbeat atmosphere that set the tone for the day. This is a budget-friendly hotel that delivers five-star service. The location is convenient, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff go above and beyond to make guests feel valued. We will absolutely return to Ibis Budget Clarke on our next visit to Singapore — highly recommended!

I had a perfect three-day stay. The place is clean and pleasant, close to the city center, and the facilities are excellent. The team is attentive and amazing. A special mention to our dear Simon – the most pleasant, smiling, polite, and helpful man – such a wonderful encounter! I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for two nights and everything went very well. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Darroy and the female receptionist (possibly of Indian origin?) who were both wonderful and professional. The only negative point is the bathroom: the shower is right next to the toilet, with very little space. This means the toilet inevitably gets wet every time you shower, which is quite uncomfortable. Also the AC was set at 24* (which is so cold 😅). But fortunately we could change the temperature! Aside from that, it’s good value for money and a solid choice for a short stay in Singapore.

Stayed here for two nights. Incredibly well situated. Super speedy and friendly check in with Jess. Rooms are small for two people and windowless however nice clean and comfy which for the price point compared to alternatives can’t really complain. Bathroom is a wet room with toilet almost in the shower which we didn’t love.
