Just got back from a fantastic holiday at the Le Royal Meridien in Dubai and I'm already missing it! The whole place was just beautiful and my room had the most amazing view of the sea. It was so nice to just chill out on the balcony. Being vegetarian, I was a bit worried about the food, but I was seriously impressed. They had so many delicious veggie options across all the restaurants and every dish was full of flavour. There was a small mix-up at check-in because I booked through a website, but the staff were super helpful and even gave me an upgrade for the fuss! Talk about great service. Orlando, one of the staff members, was an absolute star. He made sure I had everything I needed and always went the extra mile to make me feel welcome. It's people like him that make a stay truly special. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to stay in Dubai, you can't go wrong with the Le Royal Meridien. I can't wait to go back!

The hotel is absolutely lovely on all aspects, but I wanted to mention and say thank you for the promptness and care in resolving an issue we had with the construction noise across the street. Our rooms were changed immediately and Arzoo and other staff members made sure we are settled in a quieter room which happened to have a much nicer view. Thank you guys.

We come here almost every weekend for the Beach /Pool Day Pass. I really , it’s a great place to just relax & chill but there are a few areas that need to be addressed: 1. The waitstaff at the Infinity pool is not sufficient & it is very hard to get their attention or assistance. We usually have to just wait until they occasionally pass by or wave our hands for a while before they notice. 2. The Bar area is suppose to be for Adults but is constantly overcrowded with kids playing, shouting & jumping between the seats so it’s impossible to find a place to have a nice drink & chat with your group. I was under the assumption that Alcohol areas were Off Limits for anyone under 21. But here the children use it as their own personal play area. 3. While the pool itself is large it is very uncomfortable & aggravating to have to be constantly on the lookout for “flying balls going from end to end. And it’s not just children throwing them, Adults are tossing them & at fast speeds & with strength. I have seen people being hit with the balls or splashed completely when the balls land by them unexpectedly. I personally do not believe it is safe or appropriate for balls to be flying around so many people who are constantly moving around. 4. I am wondering why there is no set ADULT pool when there are 3 large pool venues available.

One of the Marriott hotels I really like, both in terms of lobby design and amenities. The check-in process was a bit slow, but the modern lobby design made up for the wait. Although I expected a welcome drink as a Gold Elite member, it wasn't offered, but that's fine though, not a big deal. Our room was upgraded to a sea view and it was pleasantly surprising (Special mention goes out to Osama in the reception). Our room and bathroom were not only spacious and clean but also environmentally conscious. While they were committed to sustainability by using refillable bottles for shampoo, conditioner and body wash, they still provided single-use plastic bottles for bottled water. It would be more eco-friendly for them to switch to reusable glass bottles. The food at Brasserie 2.0 was phenomenal, from breakfast to dinner. While some staff members were exceptionally friendly, others seemed indifferent, possibly due to us being new customers. The food at La Strega was outstanding, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel boasts three pools, so you wont need to fret about availability even when the hotel gets fully booked. Additionally, being beachfront, the hotel offers a stunning view, complemented by a lovely garden where peacocks and peahens freely roam. The turndown service added a lovely touch by refilling the water and providing fruits and chocolates. Our stay was quite memorable and we look forward to returning in the future .

I've stayed often with my family for working vacation trips. The service is excellent from the moment you have the door of your car opened for you. Check in is quick and easy, the luggage porters are very efficient at their jobs which makes it a breeze. The hotel caters for children especially and my son loves arriving and chatting with the staff. The rooms are well appointed and big enough, slightly better in the new tower end of the hotel, but then you're further away from everything. The breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful, it gets busy during peak time (obviously) so consider going early or slightly later. The pool areas are nice and well managed but the bar staff aren't very proactive so if you want drinks you'll need to get their attention or walk/swim over. The kids club is really fantastic. My son would have spent all day there if we'd let him. The spa is very pleasant, a clean locker room with fresh towels, water and plastic bags for wet swimming costumes. The plunge pools and bubble jet pool are in a communal area, while the sauna, steam room and ice shower are in the gendered areas. Our most recent visit we opted for half board, to take advantage of the many restaurant options on site. It was too hot to head down to the marina or walk along JBR as we do in the cooler months. The restaurants are fun and lively, with half board menus the you can subsidise and add/change. The ones we sampled all served alcohol. It's a great and affordable resort. Friendly staff, very clean and modern, and everything on offer you could want. We'll definitely be returning.
