The rooms are lovely and the service is excellent. The gym is outstanding for a hotel gym.
However, it's very far away from everything (perfect if you like resort holidays).
I just found it to be lacking any real culture - I feel like hotels like this are a dime a dozen across the world.
I think it just comes down to personal opinion.
If I were a 'sit a round a pool for a week straight' person, I think it would be perfect.
Regardless, the staff are doing a great job and I appreciate the experience.

An amazing stay in Waldorf Astoria . We have never experienced such customer-oriented and friendly service in a hotel. I would like to mention the pool staff Dinesh on behalf of the entire staff. They fulfilled our every wish in an incredibly friendly manner and were there before we even had a wish. For example, our sunglasses have never been cleaned or our loungers reserved in our favorite spot. We will definitely be back!

Couple great experiences at Social. We were here for 9 days celebrating our honeymoon. First and last night both at Social and everything about this place was exceptional. Atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable, Food was fantastic and service was perfect. Dara was our waiter both times… his recommendations were perfect, extremely polite and attentive and made our experience here one to remember forever. Thank you to Dara and the whole social team for the wonderful memories.

We often visit the Waldorf Astoria, both for stays and day trips and it’s very quickly become one of our favourite spots in Dubai. We have been looked after by Santhosh & Omar on the beach and we can’t fault their service. They are so welcoming, friendly & helpful - 5* service every time we come. We usually bring friends and family who come out to see us here, who come to love it very quickly too. The adults pool and this side of the beach has a lovely calm & peaceful atmosphere, just perfect.

A special shout-out to Meraj from housekeeping, Julia at the front office, and Bin at Bellman – they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and willingness to help truly made my experience memorable. I wish I could name everyone who contributed to making my stay perfect, as the whole team was outstanding! (Including the staff at the SPA).
The hotel itself is luxurious and beautifully maintained, but what really sets it apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Thank you for an unforgettable stay – I can’t wait to return!
