What an unforgettable experience at Motswari. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Motswari for three nights, and it was pure bliss. The sights and sounds allow for a perfect escape, while making you fall in love with the beautiful wild outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning and afternoon game drives, we spotted the Big 5 on the very first day and a host of other wildlife. Our guide and tracker were both friendly and informative (shout-out to Lola and Lot), which made it an overall wholesome experience. Food: The food was delicious, balanced and generous. Service: The service was best in class, friendly and helpful staff, they know you by name! Accommodation: Inviting, comfortable and a touch of Africa in every possible way. Highly recommend!!! You will love it!

I don’t often write reviews but I relied on reading reviews in order to book this trip. If you’re considering booking Motswari, you will absolutely not regret it. There was such a feeling of warmth I felt when we first walked in to check in. I had never booked safari before so I found the vast availability overwhelming but was so so pleased I booked Motswari. The rooms were really clean and a good size with a comfortable bed. They keep the bugs out really well and the AC worked a treat in January heat! The food and general service on the property was dreamy. It felt luxury and local at the same time. Perhaps most importantly, the game drives were more magical than I had imagined. Patrick and Hayden looked after us as driver guide and tracker. We had such a fun time as a group of 6 in the cart and we saw so many amazing animals in the bush. January rain did bring a thicker bush, but because of Hayden and Patrick we got to see all the beautiful Timbavati had to offer! (Big 5, wild dog, giraffe, many birds, hyenas, zebras etc etc) all up close and in a very natural-feel setting. We booked the airport transfer from HDS directly with the hotel and that was very straightforward. Most magical holiday. Thank you Motswari, we really do hope to be back xx

I had one of the best times of my life in Motswari. We went out for four outings and in that time got to see the big five along with plenty of other animals. It was truly beautiful and our guides were Lot and Josh who were top class. Two absolute gentleman whose knowledge of the animals and park was second to none, I couldn't say enough good things about them. On top of all of that the resort was amazing, we were looked after from start to finish, there was plenty to do if we wanted during our downtime and the food that was served everyday was amazing!! I will definitely be back in the future next time we visit South Africa! Stephen

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. A huge thanks to Henry and Jan, our exceptional tracker and guide. Their expertise led us to all the Big 5 within just two days! The spacious and cozy rooms offer a true bushveld experience, even allowing for animal sightings while enjoying the pool. The food is amazing, with a nice variety every day and delicious local meat offerings.

My time at Motswari was truly one of the best experiences of my life. Everything was flawless—from the warm, welcoming people to the seamless organization and incredible safaris. Each evening, the team arranged dinner in different scenic locations, attending to every need with care and attention. When we unexpectedly fell ill for a day, they immediately called a doctor to assist us, even though we were in the middle of the wilderness, and it was completely free of charge. The guide and tracker were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our happiness and comfort. It truly felt like being part of a close-knit family throughout the entire stay.
