The breakfast was awesome with options for every palate! The aesthics in the lobby was beautiful. Housekeeping by Naveen was top tier. He was so attentive, informative and resourceful with ensuring our concerns were addressed. He was just a 10/10. Now for areas of improvement: we had twin beds, but we were expecting full sized beds. We were told that was the normal size bed when requesting separate beds. The TV streaming was horrible. I watched HBO and Discovery channels and I could never follow the plot because the picture would freeze for 45 seconds sometimes and you would miss the whole plot. They tried to fix it, but it was that way our 8 nights. The AC seemed like it was turned off at nights, as we would get hot-probably motion sensor, as it was cold during the days. They said they fixed it, but it got hot at nights again. Overall, the hotel is beautiful with a great location for shopping and eating with everything in walking distance.

We had an excellent staying at the hotel. Mahe was brilliant in keeping our family room clean and ready everyday. Cleanest and staff service and attention were great. Breakfast was too. We hope to repeat the experience sometime soon. Thank you for all the work and dedication people put to offer such a high quality service.

The food portion for banquet was generous. But the banquet staff serving was not trained, a clueless 16year old on her 1st day of job. Clueless. She would remove my plate WHILE I WAS EATING, not once but 3 times without notice. I was literally eating and suddenly a hand appeared before me to remove my plate!!! She served the soup on each bowl only to ‘stain’ the bowls and left. Each bowl had less than I spoonful of soup. When she saw me topping up the soup, serving my guests next to me, she came over to ‘help’, fill up the 3 bowls and immediately left with the big main serving bowl with still half a bowl of fish maw soup in it!!! Throughout the dinner, we had to ask her to refill the tea for the table even though she could see them empty while changing plates. The management should TRAIN their staff. She was just a clueless teenager, trying very hard to make sense of what she is doing. Banquet food was good and generous.

We recently had our daughter’s wedding banquet lunch held at Orchard Hotel. We sincerely thank to all the staffs that have given their fullest support to make this auspicious event a successful and a memorable one. Right from the planning phases thru their sales personnel- Shawn, the chef - Johnny for the menu recommendation , the Event deco & set up, Banquet & tea ceremony event support - Kelvin , Yong Zheng and their team, and lastly not forgetting the AV support team. All our overseas guests were checking into the hotel a day prior the event and had a wonderful dining experience at the Orchard Cafe. We had a memorable family gathering at the buffet dinner and special thanks to Evelyn and Partiban for their good service began with reservation and the seats arrangement. All our guests enjoyed the buffet spread very much and some has claimed one of the best buffet they have ever had. Another caring staff - Tina at the Orchard Cafe had also extended her warm engagement with our guests during breakfast time and these little gesture had made their day. It was really a great experience to have our auspicious event held at Orchard hotel with a friendly and supportive team throughout.

Nauroz Imtiaz

The location is perfect, right on Orchard Road, with easy access to shopping, dining, and transport. The staff were polite and attentive, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety, though I felt the taste could be slightly improved. Overall, a great stay in the heart of Singapore, I would definitely consider coming back!
