The best hotel we have ever been to in our lives. Went for our honeymoon. The sea villas are beautiful and feel private. The facilities are 10/10 with an on demand shuttle to go around the island, walks to do, sunsets to watch, insanely good massages, emerald bay to yourselves, happy hours and much more. It’s a paradise.

One of the best hotel we have ever been to. Every from the lobby to the room. Everything is immaculate. Couldn’t believe this is a 40years old resort! The restaurant here is good too, amazing breakfast, the Chinese restaurant has a good menu. Pool side restaurant is a bit average. Sunset cocktail on the west side of the island with happy hour is a nice way to spend the golden hour, also amazing beach to swim. Spa village is really cool. Quiet without kids. Highly recommended. For the price to stay here during school holiday! Super good value. Would definitely come back for another holiday here.

Is our first visit to the resort, everything is good from check in to check out including transfers to the island. As it is private island, the place and facilities are very well taken care and clean. Is very quiet at night so feeling a bit boring after dinner time, which basically going back to our room. There's a karaoke room but I hardly see anyone is using it in our 3days 2 nites stay. Suggest resort to consider a live band near the pool area for certain hours. Thanks to all resort and transfers service staff, for their attention and great job.

A little piece of paradise! The private island is perfect for special occasions. Kudos to the management they have developed only a small part of the island and left the rest of it as pristine as possible. We stayed in the spa village among other things it was a great plus as kids are not allowed on this part of the resort. While staying here one must sign up for a spa treat. We signed up for the Malay massage and it was an experience in itself! The various baths and well trained masseuses make it a perfect package. Very professionally operated. Emerald bay is perfect for a swim and food at Chapman's bar is excellent. Uncle lim's kitchen is a must visit while staying here. People make the place even better, excellent staff right from the reservation desk on main land to everyone at the resort. Special shoutout to Mr Segar and Mr Mages (Maheswaran) for making our stay special. Pangkor is a must visit.

I was staying there last year December 2024, while the hotel compound and location is unique, and normal service staffs are friendly and hospitable. However hotel is room is very outdated. On our 2nd night, I was shocked at 12 midnight "somebody" knocking on our door, as our hotel room is a cabana style and they only have glass door and sliding wooden door panel, there is no "peep hole" like any normal hotel door, so I couldn't see who was knocking. The knocking on the door last about 10 mins. Mind you, my room is located on the top level by the hill and we are just next to the jungle. After the knocking, I received a call from front desk, the receptionist was kinda of annoyed why I never open the door! He told.me that the staff is delivering bottle water and ashtray. I politely told the staff that I didn't call for such service and said that my room is a non-smoking. I also reminded the staff that its past 12 midnight and why is he calling the room? The staff was apologetic. The next day I reported to the duty manager.... long story short, as a "compensation" the front desk manager personally apologise to us and because we are already departing that morning, arrange for a sandwich for me and wife.... 🤦I'm not expecting much but I think the hotel can do better like offering discounts on room or F&B... but I guess it is what it is. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
