I wanted to love this hotel but there were a good few things that marked it down.
Good things - the staff are great and very attentive. The rooms are a good size. The hotel position is fantastic right on the strip which makes everything easy to get to. The beach is lovely and the pools are very clean. The spa is amazing and I recommend a Turkish bath and the hairdresser did an amazing job on my hair. I got a lovely gift from the hotel on my birthday it was such a lovely touch. You get one restaurant meal a week and we chose the Italian one, it was absolutely fantastic definitely recommend going.
The bad - Omg the beds are so uncomfortable I struggled all week and have came home with a bad back. You get one lighter blanket on the bed that's really rough and one pillow, I had to ask for more. No chair in room so had to sit on the bed to watch TV. I struggled with the food and didn't have many options, it was similar food served every day so got boring really quick. Lots of sun loungers at the pools were ripped or cracked. The stairs up to our room were a bit of a nightmare for my son who has mobility issues and it was so noisy at night as we backed onto a bar not what we asked for when booking. We asked for a late check out on arrival we were told to come back the day before which we did to be told there was nothing in the hotel at all. Then when leaving there was lots of folk checking out late. This was a priority to us due to my son's disabilities.
All in all it was a decent hotel with good pools we never really had a problem getting sun loungers other than up at the cozy pool but if we were to come back I wouldn't want to do all inclusive and the mattresses need changing not everyone like to feel as if they are sleeping on a concrete floor.

We spent a week at this hotel in late October, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel has several key advantages that made our stay enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with direct access to sunbeds, which made our beach time convenient and relaxing. The resort is beautifully designed with lots of greenery, creating a peaceful garden-like atmosphere. The low-rise buildings fit naturally into the surroundings, giving the whole place a harmonious and inviting feel.
The hotel is also in a great spot for exploring nearby attractions. We could easily walk to the old town walls, the amphitheater, and the center of Bodrum. Additionally, a local bus stops right outside the hotel, and for just 1 euro, it takes you directly to the center of Bodrum, which was very handy for getting around.
The food was another highlight. Every day, we enjoyed fresh grilled meats, and while the selection of fish wasn’t huge, it was enough for us. The fresh salads and soups were always available, so there was something for everyone. I particularly recommend the café above the reception, where you can get authentic Turkish coffee made from ground beans – a nice touch for coffee lovers.
A big plus was the Wi-Fi. Surprisingly, the connection was strong even at the furthest corners of the beach, which I didn’t expect.
However, there were some downsides that I wish I had known before our visit. One major issue was the poor soundproofing in the rooms. If you're staying near the Cossy Bar or the pool, you’ll hear loud music from 10 a.m. until midnight or even 1 a.m. The noise from neighboring bars can also be disruptive. If you have noisy neighbors, the thin walls make it difficult to sleep. I recommend requesting a room in a quieter part of the resort, preferably on the top floor, to avoid this issue.
The room we stayed in was quite small, around 16 m² including the bathroom, but it was sufficient for our needs. The main downside was the bed – the mattress was overused and uncomfortable, which affected our sleep. This could definitely be improved to enhance guest comfort.
Another issue was with hygiene in the restaurant. Waiters would always place cutlery directly on the tables, which were not properly sanitized between guests. This raised concerns, especially since there were several cats roaming around the dining area, sometimes jumping onto tables. While some might find this charming, it poses clear hygiene risks, especially when tables aren’t properly cleaned after use. The presence of stray dogs on the beach, while not a major issue for us, might also concern some guests.
Speaking of the beach, while it’s located in a beautiful spot, the maintenance could be significantly improved. The beach had numerous cigarette butts and sunflower seed shells scattered around, and while a staff member would occasionally empty the trash bins, the sand itself wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, the sunbed mattresses on the beach seemed overused and worn, making them less comfortable. This was disappointing because the beach itself is lovely, with its natural beauty overshadowed by poor upkeep. With better maintenance and stricter rules against littering, the beach could be a real highlight of the stay.
Finally, communication with the staff was a challenge at times. While they were generally friendly, many struggled with English, even at key points like the reception. This made it difficult to resolve simple issues or make basic requests, which was frustrating on occasion. If you don’t speak Turkish, this is something to be prepared for.
Overall, despite the downsides, we found the hotel to be a fair deal for the price we paid. If I had known some of these details beforehand, such as requesting a quieter room and being aware of the hygiene practices and communication difficulties, I think our experience could have been even better.

Parkim Ayaz is a great place to stay. The location is a 10. On a beautiful calm beach with shallow warm water, 10 mins (at a push) from bodrum centre. It really ticked all the boxes. Very accessible and the staff went above and beyond. I gave the room a 4* because we didn't have a good room. But we were warned it wasnt great pre reservation. It was still very clean and had a jacuzzi. It was just due an update, which will happen this winter. My family had very nice modern rooms. The staff were excellent and the food was very good. The open bar had many premium spirits and was prefect for what it needed to be. The entertainment was also great. The accessibility is good for a wheelchair.
