We spent an amazing 5 days at this beautiful hotel! The rooms were amazing with a beautiful sea view to wake up to every morning. The room was spacious, clean and was definitely 5* standard. We opted for the breakfast which was an amazing buffet with various different options including an egg station, salad station and fresh pastries, breads, gorgeous local honey. However the best part of the hotel has to be the staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the cleaners to the front desk staff, always happy and smiling and willing to help. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Stay at PARKROYAL Penang Resort We had an amazing experience at PARKROYAL Penang Resort during our family trip from December 19 to 22. Our room on level 4 was incredibly spacious, featuring a super king bed that could comfortably accommodate four people. The staff were exceptionally caring and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious food and drinks to suit all tastes. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and great food. We will definitely return!

Staying at PARKROYAL Penang Resort was an absolute treat! I hadn’t been here in over a decade, but my recent visit was nothing short of perfect. The ambience is stunning, blending luxury and comfort seamlessly. The staff? Top-notch—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is unbeatable with direct beach access, giving you gorgeous views and easy seaside strolls. I love that convenience shops, restaurants, and laundry services are just a few minutes' walk away—it makes everything so easy! The hotel feels like a slice of paradise, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Whether you're enjoying the facilities or soaking in the beach vibes, everything is thoughtfully designed to make your stay memorable. It’s hands down the best hotel in Malaysia for me, and I can’t wait to return again. If you’re looking for the ultimate getaway, this place is worth every penny. Five stars all the way!

We stayed here for New Year’s Eve and this was the best hotel experience we’ve had whilst travelling around Malaysia. The staff, the services provided and the facilities are excellent. We arrived before check-in time and we were able to wait by the pool which was great. The only thing I’d say to improve is the buffet variety. We had the NYE’s buffet dinner and the buffet breakfast and I would say there’s a big room for improvement for a 5-star hotel standard. Another for improvement is that there is not regular bathroom cleaning at the lobby’s bathrooms. Since there are a lot of children around using the shower and the toilets, and it’s next to the swimming pools, it got quite dirty and a lot of toilets had no toilet paper. I would absolutely come back again.

We had such a fantastic stay at Park Royal Penang. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, every corner is clean and everything runs well. There are a lot of well thought out and interactive activities for kids, you won't struggle to fill your days here. The food was fantastic, a varied and consistent breakfast buffet that is well organised and efficiently run. The other restaurants are also of a high standard with a good variety to choose from. What makes this place extra special is the quality of their staff, I've stayed at a fair few 5 star resorts and the Park Royal staff were extra special. You really get the feeling that they really want to be there and enjoy working for the company. A special mention to Shah at the front working as Ambassador, he was super fun, friendly, proactive and approachable, exactly what you want upon entry. Next shout out goes to Chirag, who was an amazing service staff, always on point and efficient, made an effort to remember my name and shared lots of good conversation. Finally Imam who cared for our room and us, he made sure he left us extra water for our baby, he was really good at resetting the carnage we left in our room on a daily basis and just generally really helpful. Thanks again to the team.
