beautiful beach resort to spend vacations at. first of all the room was very clean and spacious with all the accessories you would expect. the view over the sea and the hotel facility was absolutely stunning i would absolutely recommend booking a room having it. nothing beats waking up with this gorgeous view every day. the service is excellent aswell: staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and always open for a quick chat. this applies to literally all the hotel staff, from reception staff to restaurant, housekeeping and even the hotel manager whom i had the honour of meeting. working climate must be brilliant here. the hotel facility is furnished modern with a lovely lobby and lounge area. i am a big fan of the outside area aswell, only problem here is while the sea looks beautiful it was not ideal to swim in it since there were jellyfish and the waves were relatively strong but the pool area makes up for that. both restaurants are fantastic and offer great value for money especially the gustoso which has a lovely seating area right by the beach. spa and gym are great and there is even a jacuzzi and steamsauna hidden in the back of the gym which no one really used beside us. breakfast buffet is very pleasant but can seem a bit repetitive (maybe due to us staying here quite long) and gets very full past 9 a.m., therefore be sure to go early enough. as a swiss i am definitely used to high standards in my home country and those were perfectly reached or even exceeded here. overall very happy with my stay here, same goes for the rest of my family (especially my parents). i will most certainly come back here if i find myself in malaysia in a few years or even see the hotel as the reason returning to penang.

I came for a company retreat at Park Royal Hotel Penang, and it turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel is truly luxurious — from the elegant lobby to the beautifully designed rooms with cozy, spacious interiors and breathtaking sea views. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff’s hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was so attentive and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The environment was relaxing, the pool area was very kids-friendly, and the beach was clean and well-maintained. We also had our company sessions in the ballroom — the lighting, sound system, and overall setup were top-notch and perfectly suited for corporate events. Overall, I’m fully satisfied with everything. Park Royal Penang exceeded all expectations, and I can’t wait to come back again — whether for work or leisure! 🌴✨

Perfect Beachfront Getaway❤️❤️❤️ We truly enjoyed our stay at PARKROYAL Penang. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our trip. Our room was clean and cozy with a lovely sea view. Breakfast had so many tasty options, and the beach was just a few steps away. Definitely one of the best resorts in Penang — can’t wait to come back! 🌊💛

Abit different from last 7 years ago (before MCO). Love the place and food. Sp this time i was so excited to have a chance to visit this hotel again. I can see there is an improvement that this hotel has made some renovation. It is nice. But I also see some changes in the cleanliness of the toilet at lobby. Maybe because of too crowded that the toilet can't be clean all the time as too many people in and out the toilet. I also find the food is different from last time. Maybe the chef has change. Last time the food is👍. Now the food is not special. Especially the dimsum taste is out. I knew that the hotel outsource the dimsum, suggest you may get outsource from other different company. Maybe can testing the dimsum before you perform to customer.

I stayed at the Park Royal last week and I was blown away by all of the incredible staff they had. Absolutely it's a beautiful resort and location but the incredible staff were probably the best part of my trip. We made great friends with Muthueswari! (pictured below, please say hi for me if you get the pleasure of meeting her), and talked to many more. They gave great advice and were always happy to see me, I'll be coming back once I can save up again haha.
