Short trip for my husband birthday. Arrival : Greeted warmly and felt very welcomed. Our room was being cleaned when we arrive as a nice gesture for my husband birthday we were brought to restaurant for welcome drink while waiting. Less than 15min the room is ready. Room : To our surprise the room was spacious and the bed big enough to accommodate 4 of us (baby, toddler and 2 of us). Requested a simple birthday decoration, they brought us cake and balloons enough to make my husband happy. In-Room Dining : Delivered on time as per requested by they got one order wrong and they delivered the correct order around 30min later. But I was happy with the food, taste and texture wise excellent. Pool : coming on weekdays to avoid crowded but turns out they are more tourists and to my surprise the place felt lively rather than crowded. There are 2 pools and are spacious enough. Not just the staff were smiling to us but the guests were also kind to us especially to my kids. 1night not enough to soak up everything this resort has to offer so we will definitely be coming here again. We arrived around 4pm and had to wait in line for more than 10 minutes just to check in. All the counters were open, but the line kept moving slowly. The elevator to the rooms was very small and slow. Later, I found out there were another elevators, but none of the staff mentioned it. Most of the staff showed the kind of unfriendliness that’s unfortunately common in Singapore. The only exception was the staff working in the gym, who were genuinely friendly and helpful, left a good impression. The room itself was disappointing. I found someone else’s hair in the closet and on the bathroom floor, and there was a thick layer of dust behind the lighting fixtures. Overall, the room felt a bit worn. The bathroom had a lingering smell, like an old damp mop. During showers, the water temperature would suddenly spike from warm to scalding hot, so you need to be careful. The hotel provides 4 bottles of water per day, but honestly, it would be more convenient to have a tap with filtered water. Also, no lotion was provided either, and I had to request it. My experience at the pool was not pleasant. In the afternoon, it was nearly impossible to find a spot near the pool because guests “reserved” chairs with towels and then left for long periods. The 1.5m pool was full of kids and their toys and despite the “no diving” rule, both kids and adults kept diving in, splashing water everywhere. No staff enforced the rules. Each chair has a service button to call staff, but service was extremely slow. On the positive side, the gym was excellent, with a wide variety of equipment, plus a great sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast had a wide selection, though the quality felt somewhat lacking. Unfortunately, there's not much to do around the resort. There's a few massage places and restaurants, but the quality is noticeably poor while the prices are extremely high. Even though most of them have card machines, they still try to push tourists to pay in cash.

Superb hotel. Everything about the hotel is absolutely top notch. The rooms, the staff, the food. Set in beautiful gardens right next to the beach. All the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The bar area is absolutely fantastic, all the staff are great but special mention to Sue who worked really hard to please. Our room on the 7th floor was absolutely gorgeous, very contemporary and an enormous bed to spread out in. We were only bed and breakfast, but can say the food at breakfast was of the highest quality. I only have one negative to say and that is the hotel is child friendly which didn’t suit us at all. That is not the fault of the hotel, but I do think they should make certain areas just for adults, and enforce a kids pool rule, because they ruled both pools while we were staying! Not the hotels fault, modern day parenting I guess! Overall, a top notch 5 star hotel. Loved it.

We had a fantastic time! The resort has multiple pools suitable for different age groups, and the water slides are a great bonus. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, perfect for enjoying a sunset dinner by the sea. Everything was spotless, and there are fun indoor activities for kids as well. The twin beds were the largest we’ve ever had—wide enough to fit four pillows comfortably. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We also found the hotel food to be tasty and reasonably priced. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Penang!

Absolutely satisfied with my stay here! From the moment I arrived to check‑in, the guards, bellboys, and receptionists, all the staff were so kind and always smiling, greeting guests warmly. Breakfast was insanely delicious with so many selections. The service was excellent! Everything I requested was fulfilled, and I even received complimentary drinks as a gift after checkout (can request juices or mocktails). Check‑in and check‑out were smooth. Such a peaceful hotel, perfect for anyone seeking tranquility. Do expect to see plenty of foreigners here. Definitely coming back again!
