We just spent two weeks at this resort. Overall it was very good considering the high volume of people. The rooms were comfortable and if you had any problems they were quick to come and assist. The food had a great variety of options. The beach and pool area were beautiful with plenty of chairs but you had to get a Chair first thing in the morning or they would be taken up. This is an issue at most resorts unfortunately. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was very well equipped with personal trainers there to help if you needed any guidance. Overall very pleased with our stay!

I am Titanium with Marriott to give you some perspective. This was beyond the worst trip I have ever taken and that includes all of my business travel. First when you get there, even if you have Diamond Club there are no reservations to be had, unless you pay off the person at the door $50. Then suddenly they can find you a table. All this leaves is the sports bar and the buffet. We tried the sports bar our first night and waited 80 minutes for a burger and cheese steak that weren’t edible. So we had to piece together something at the buffet anyway. They give you a bottle when you check into the Diamond Club, except they are always out of what you want so we never got ours. The bars always run out of alcohol, bottles of water, and juices and the staff snack and don’t go to replenish anything. Some service staff can be nice but most aren’t helpful and many rude. We finally had a reservation made but were told it was made with the wrong person so they cancelled it when we showed up. The shower barely worked. The sheets are always wet feeling. If you paid for my flight and paid me $100 a night, I still would never stay here again. The worst. Period. Ever.

We had a swim out room and had the Diamond Club. I would do Diamond again....it was worth it to us. Check in was quick and easy! Our room was fantastic! It was a bit musty smelling but we kept our ceiling fan on and it was then not as noticeable. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Our room came with butler service also. Sharmane was amazing!! She met us shortly after arrival, and went over everything. She even had dinner reservations for us for the next 3 nights!! She checked in daily with us to see how all was going and if we needed anything. We decided to rent a car for the day to check out island....she set it all up. We rent cabanas 3xs and she took care of it all. Highly recommend doing a cabana. It's 120 for 8 hours! You get a waiter, whirlpool and they serve you lunch. And you dont need to go early to save a chair by the pool. They fill up fast! Well worth the money
The food in the restaurants was really good. The buffet was your typical all inclusive. Nothing special.
This is a family resort. Great for kids. Pools are very large and they have a separate area for the kids. Love how big the pools were so you don't feel crowded.
We enjoyed our stay a would consider another Royalton.

We were disappointed on our trip to the Royalton Antigua. We have been to a few other Royalton locations and this one was a disappointment to say the least. The rooms are small and the air conditioning blows directly on you in bed. Our clothes felt damp even the ones in our suitcase. Housekeeping did a great job and the restock crew was good about reaching out when we needed a fridge restock. The other staff on-site was hit or miss. We would sometimes not get water or something to drink at the buffet until we were done eating. Salt and pepper shakers were hard to come by. Buffet staff would turn their back if they didn't want to make you something or say they were out even though they didn't check. Example of this was omelets in the morning, if the container was almost out they would say they had no more instead of refilling like bacon or tomatoes. Beach bar staff seemed busy when they were not wanting to help out or would hide out in the massage cabana. Other staff was more than willing and were helpful don't get me wrong, but the majority seemed like they were inconvenienced by making drinks. The beach was gorgeous! The bathrooms by the beach were often out of toliet paper and hand soap. The bars would run out of items like rum or pineapple juice. Reservations for dinner are through the app and book very quickly. We were only able to book one restaurant the whole week we were there unless you wanted to eat at 9pm. I think this has the potential to be a great resort, but needs new managers and better staff.

Went for our honeymoon in October and it was absolutely beautiful! Our stay was nothing short of perfect. Friendly staff, beautiful views, and great weather. I loved that they had several different restaurants, we got to try a new one every night! Not a huge party scene, but also not a huge family scene. Perfect for a relaxing vacation.
