I have to believe the people raving about this “resort” aren’t Americans. The Brits on holiday seemed quite happy, but there is no way this is a 4 star hotel. Pros: the people who work there are friendly, it’s pretty at first glance (shabby up close, though!), the sand on the beach there is powder soft and the room was decent. That’s it. The beach is tiny and never any free lounges, the pools are small and cold, service is slow if you get any to begin with, and the activities desk was no help in steering us in the right direction. My local taxi driver was the best source of information. The bath towels were thin and rough, though the pool towels were a bit better. The food is fair, at best, and limited menus make it hard to stay on property. They charged $7 US for a glass of Coke! Whatever you do, don’t waste your money on the all inclusive plan, that’s for sure! There was no value for the money we paid and I’m extremely disappointed at what we got in exchange for the hefty bill. I expected some luxury, attentive service, and the feel of a good resort. This felt more like a shabby hotel that had seen better days.

Highly recommended Blue Water, we had the best stay here. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful, they had thought of all the little things including fruit sticks and ice lollies as you were sat around the pool and beach. The food was amazing, we did the all-inclusive offer and thought it was great value for money. The rooms and facilities are lovely and so relaxing. We hope to come back very soon!

This resort exceeded our expectations and then some! What a wonderful place with amazing food and staff. From booking until departure we were treated amazing. Constantly cared for by the staff. The resort is luxury but not over the top cheesy if that makes sense. It has a laid back feel I can only describe as “casual luxury”. The food was fantastic, like some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Drinks were great. Tons of water sports activities, a great gift shop, great gym/fitness center, and even a tennis court. Beach was gorgeous! Rooms had plenty of space and a cozy feel. This place has it all.

We stayed at Blue Waters in April 2024 and it was fantastic - I would definitely recommend.
We stayed in a family suit in turtle cottage. It’s essentially a little house with 4 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and private pool/balcony area. You also get access to the ‘private’ beach below - although public access is also allowed.
The hotel has 2 pools, 2 beaches, 3 restaurants (main, beach cafe & posher sit down dining - you’ll need to book this one), games area, gym and tennis courts - everything you could possibly need.
The food is great also, it’s mainly a la carte menu but some buffet options on particular bbq nights which are also fun.
The bars are well stocked and cocktails in abundance - again, pretty much anything you want is available.
The concierge service is a touch on the expensive side. They quoted some high numbers for bite hire etc, but if you shop about locally or online you can find a decent deal. There’s also some nice free day trips/activities you can participate in over the week too including rum tasting, fishing, yoga etc.
In summary a great stay, you’re well looked after and very comfortable surroundings.

This is our 3rd time to Blue Waters and is our favourite place. We even got married there 4 years ago (due to UK Covid restrictions). The set up is great, very friendly staff, many who have been there for years and high quality food at The Cove, Palm and Reef restaurants. It has everything that you could want with a great beach, watersports, private boat and 16 acres of well manicured gardens. The team are amazing and too many to mention by name but Sara in The Cove made our anniversary a very special occasion. Tremane in the pool bar is an amazing cocktail maker as is Carrez. Derah and Sparkel in The Palm make our start to the day after a bit of a gym session. Thank you to all the BW team for another very memorable holiday. We will be back
