Hands down the most amazing food of any resort we’ve been to. Every person that works there were simply outstanding. The chef is very personable and will accommodate most requests, though the options are already fantastic. Troy, the Restaurant manager is professional, knowledgeable and funny. This resort is a must do if going to Antigua. Our Ambassador Leon, treated us as if we were the most important guests. The beach food and service was exceptional. Raw oysters, Rock lobster, shrimp, octopus, Calamari, Italian Sausage were just a few options.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hammock Cove! We were looking for a quiet, luxurious getaway with exceptional service and food, and this resort met our expectations in every way. Unlike other all-inclusives we’ve visited where the food and service felt average, Hammock Cove truly stands out. We were initially concerned about having only a few dining options, but the Lighthouse’s nightly changing menu kept things fresh and exciting—each meal was better than the last! The Sommelier was a fantastic touch, adding to the overall dining experience. And the 7 course dinner on Wednesday night was exceptional! My husband loved fishing off the dock daily (thank you to the staff for keeping him entertained), while I enjoyed soaking up the sun in the water hammocks. The seafood grill on the beach one afternoon was another highlight; the lobster and fresh fish were delicious. I will forever dream of the chicken curry we had for lunch one day. The resort’s location on the cove is fantastic, offering calm, swimmable waters with minimal seaweed—perfect for a relaxing dip. At times, it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves, making it even more peaceful and exclusive. The resort is quiet, and the bars close nightly by 10:30. There is no real entertainment, but they do have a lounge room open each night above the lobby with games, TV's, and a server. They also stock each room with a full bar (which is lovely btw), and there is 24-hour room service. If you’re looking for a relaxing and peaceful 5-star escape, with fantastic service and dining, we highly recommend Hammock Cove!

This is really a 4.5. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. We had an amazing time and overall felt pampered and relaxed. The resort is beautiful, the food was consistently good or exceptional but beach service needs improvement. Our lead ambassador was Randal who was exceptional, and Sheldon and Terran were very good as well. Everyone at the lighthouse was great, and service at Irina was good. We ate every night at the lighthouse and had breakfast and lunch at Irina or room service. We loved room service and on average it took around 30 minutes. We did the calypso cat (the snorkeling was okay) which was fun and also rented a car for a day with the front desk. Now to the beach… We were once waiting an hour and a half for food and left hungry! Other three couples also left tired of waiting. We ended up going to Irina’s (took five minutes to be served) and our ambassador appeared at our room apologetic three hours later with the food we had ordered at the beach. I was surprised the food ever came, but at this point we didn’t want it anymore. The staff at the beach needs training and better organization. They were taking orders and fullfiling them one at a time when there were over 10 couples at the beach, and no one was getting food. We saw that two of the three times we went to the beach during the week. We also made a special request for bourbon and whiskey, but we never got them. That wasn’t a big deal for us but worth mentioning. They should have just told us they couldn’t get what we requested and offer alternatives. Recommendations for the resort: 1. the patios in the villas need a fan; 2. rooms need readily available snacks like potato or plantain chips and cookies. Sometimes you just want an immediate snack.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at Hammock Cove and had the most incredible time! The property is absolutely stunning and the villas are incredibly clean, comfortable, and spacious. The ambassador service is great and it was so convenient to be able to call 24/7 for reservations, questions, or room service. Delarno and Rondel were the absolute best!! The plunge pool, outdoor bar, and lounge area on the linai is so private with the most beautiful views. The beach is on the smaller side but has ample lounge chairs with great service starting with fruit water in the morning to drinks and food in the afternoon. The watersports staff was so personable and took us out on the Hobie cat, set us up with kayaks and fishing poles whenever we wanted. The Calypso Cat boat excursion was so much fun and it was awesome to get a different view of the island with great snorkeling and a lively crew. We also took advantage of the Spa and had the most incredible massage! We were both blown away by how outstanding the food was starting at breakfast all the way through dessert after dinner. The menu rotates for each meal every day so there was always variety with plenty of healthy options. We went to the Lighthouse every day for dinner and each meal was better than the last. The 7 course tasting menu was one of the best meals I have ever had and Chef Marco makes an effort to connect with all of the guests each night at dinner and at the cooking demonstration. The Nobody Knows Rum Bar below the restaurant had a great selection of drinks and Gabriel was an amazing bartender and so much fun to talk to. Our honeymoon was everything we could dream of and more and we owe it all to the wonderful staff and incredible facilities at Hammock Cove. We can't wait to come back!! Run, don't walk to book Hammock Cove if you want a romantic, quiet, relaxing, and luxurious honeymoon!

We stayed here for our honeymoon in November 2023. We selected this resort because of the exceptional reviews and were very underwhelmed. Subpar experience that included low quality/musty rooms, below par customer service, and an overall cheap/non-luxurious experience. It cannot compare to 5 star experiences that come with Ritz Carlton & 4 Seasons. Pros- all rooms have beautiful views and private pools.
