Short drive from the airport to the resort.
Overall, I loved the resort. The rooms are a little outdated and in need of updating, which is on the road map for Sandals in the near future. The overall service was awesome. Everyone was quite friendly and helpful. I feel the restaurant staff was a little less than attentive at most places.
Pool activities were awesome, and the staff was a lot of fun.
Pool bar needed a couple more servers as it was always busy, but they were great getting drinks out as fast as they could.
The water was beautiful, and beaches were amazing. We did get bothered some by merchants since the beach was public, but they were not overly pushy.
It was HOT. It's probably the hottest trip I've ever taken, so sunscreen is a must!
I'm not a huge fan of the Antigua airport. We had to get there 3 hours before our flight, and it's not cooled very well. There are only 2 restaurants in the airport and they aren't great.
I would definitely suggest taking a trip to Antigua. It was a great time!

My wife and I just got back, and we had a lovely time at this Sandals resort. The staff was super friendly to us and always greeted us very courteous. The beach was awesome, and so were the pools. We never had any trouble making reservations for dinner in the restaurants that required them. The vendors at the beach were friendly and polite and easy to talk to if you treated them with a friendly smile. Overall, this was a awesome vacation for us that we would have no problems repeating.

The resort grounds and beach are gorgeous! We enjoyed the different restaurants especially Eleanor's breakfast, Kimonos and OK Corral. The service we received during our anniversary trip was impeccable.

Great location and beach with great views. Grounds are well kept and give a great tropical retreat.
Most of the staff very friendly.
Only 1 bad experience, Eleanor's for breakfast lost or never turned in our order. After seeing the entire restaurant that had arrived after us served, we asked to check into ours, no reply back and left after an hour.
Main pool was awesome, the 2 activity coordinators there were great.
Candle light dinner was well worth the extra 200.
spa was good.
As far as the negative reviews we saw, we didn't experience or they were just areas not of high importance.
Never saw a Mosquito.
Vendors were on beach, but all friendly and not bothersome.
Food quality was just o.k. but for all inclusive it was expected and certainly fine with good service and some variety .
We stayed on the beach and while it was starting to show some time, it was clean and gave us the view we were there for.
Overall a great experience if you are looking for a Caribbean experience. Probably not so much if you are looking for a modern room to sit in all week.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon. It was our first time at a Sandals and we enjoyed our time here! However, the rooms were a little dated, definitely need some upgrades. But we had a beautiful view on the Mediterranean side of the resort so that made up for it. The grounds throughout were pretty and we enjoyed the large pool with swim up bar.
The beach was nice but being bothered by vendors got a bit irritating since I was trying to enjoy one on one time with my wife. The resort is very pushy with booking a spa appointment too, which also got irritating. Though we did treat ourselves to a couples massage and that was a great way to start out our time here!
Food was honestly subpar and disappointing but the staff over at the pizza place were very friendly!
Highly recommend snorkeling here! We had an absolute blast and the staff was great, wish I could remember their names.
Overall, I’d give the resort a 3.8 out of 5 not sure if we’ll come back to this resort until upgrades are made but plan to check out another Sandals in the future.
