We just spent two weeks at this resort. Overall it was very good considering the high volume of people. The rooms were comfortable and if you had any problems they were quick to come and assist. The food had a great variety of options. The beach and pool area were beautiful with plenty of chairs but you had to get a Chair first thing in the morning or they would be taken up. This is an issue at most resorts unfortunately. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was very well equipped with personal trainers there to help if you needed any guidance. Overall very pleased with our stay!

Enjoyed every moment of my stay. The staff are pleasant & friendly. The beach is beautiful. Once u go in u don’t want to get out. Food was great. My only complaint is that I wanted to see more of Antigua’ s dishes. I didn’t see any form of the National Dish.

Staying here now. Coniah & Maria are our butlers and have been great! Rooms are beautiful, location is perfect & food has been fabulous.
I was really nervous after reading the reviews that staff would be rude… however I’ve found them to all be lovely! What I have personally seen is lots of people being rude to staff, constantly entitled and staff handled it with grace. I think it’s how you treat them because we’ve had a lovely time and I fully back the staff!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Royalton Antigua.
I must admit, prior to coming we were a little nervous based on the reviews, however we found that experience was only positive.
Unlike some of the things we read, the staff was incredibly friendly. Nearly everyone we passed by would wish us a good day and smile. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our butlers (Marcus and Coniah) checked in throughout our stay.
The property was very well kept. We never had any issues with cleanliness. Some people would complain about little bugs or salt stain spots but if you fail to consider you are literally sitting on a natural peninsula next to a salt ocean, you should probably just vacation at one of those manufactured indoor water parks. The appeal of this resort is the natural surroundings. Nature and all!
The only aspect that was “hit or miss” was some of the food. It was not bad, but at times lacked flavor and quality. With that said, some of the food we ate off property was also this way.
Overall - we would not hesitate to return to this lovely resort in the future !

Currently staying at the Royalton. Great location, one of the nicest beachfront areas of any all inclusive I've stayed at. Hotel is fine, nothing fancy but comfortable. Food quality has been mixed. Buffet has the same food day and night so it gets boring quickly. Restaurant reservation system is awful. We had a butler and it was a stretch for him to book a restaurant. Both times we showed up for our reso, the place was less than half full. Butler service isn't worth it generally. They are quite limited to what they can do and it's often just easier to do something yourself. They require repeated reminders on requests and some never got addressed. Service has been awful overall. There have been some very nice staff but most are completely indifferent towards you. We had two nights where we waited over 1.5 hrs for our main course at dinner. Very limited water sports options. Given the price I would have hoped for a better experience but I'd cross any Royalton resorts off my list in the future. There are many other options where you could get better service or the same level of service but pay less.
