My experience at Royalton Antigua has been nothing short of excellent. The check-in service, led by Carlos and his team at the front desk, is seamless, professional, and welcoming. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring a smooth arrival and promptly addressing all my queries with a friendly and accommodating approach. Their commitment to excellence set the tone for a wonderful stay.
The poolside team is equally impressive, going above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s offering timely service, providing helpful recommendations, or simply engaging with guests in a warm and personable manner, their dedication truly stands out.
The breakfast team, along with the staff at Marche and other restaurants for dinner, further elevate the experience with their professionalism, attentiveness, and ability to make every meal enjoyable. The customer service throughout my stay has been exceptional—responsive, efficient, and always delivered with a smile.
Thanks to this incredible team, my stay was both comfortable and memorable. I look forward to returning and will happily recommend Royalton Antigua to friends. Highly recommended!

This was my first vacation when I was happy to go home. Don't get me wrong, they have a lot of hard-working staff trying to make your vacation enjoyable but when they are out of basic items, the reservation system for dinner is always full, you have to ask for every item from your prepaid package. The fun is sucked out of your holiday.
If you have a food allergy, be careful. The host will ask about food allergies, the waitress will ask, you will order with care and clarify that it can be made safe for you. Then your meal will turn up with your allergen on the plate.
Diamond Club butlers are a hit and miss. Based on my own experience, I wouldn't pay for one again. We had to repeat ( the following days )any requests we made or it would simply be ignored. Nagging, how fun on your vacation.
It is a family resort but there is no evening entertainment for them. The shows were school performance at best. Although, one night there was an enjoyable band. But who pays for only one night ?
I don't believe the average 5 star resort has this many challenges.

Amazing location. Horrible staff and management. Other reviews are correct in that they make guests feel like they re lucky to be at the Royalton and they talk to guests like they are peasants.
They make you feel like they own you not only the property or the land. Very stringent with preventing the locals and sailors from using the Deep Bay beach. Speaking with some of the locals, they are forced to use a back access road that is unpaved and dangerously bumpy to use what is like 10% of the beach itself.
This hotel is destroying the island and their attitude ruins the visitors vacations.

Having read a quantity of poor reviews we were anxious about this 10 day stay at Royalton Antigua. We need not have worried, the place is impeccable! The site and rooms are beautiful and well maintained. The food and restaurant locations are excellent. Above all the staff are happy, professional and always helpful. The site is large but a buggy is always nearby if you need it - I have a mild leg disability and this service was very helpful.
So all in all would we return - absolutely yes!!

This Royalton resort located in Antigua is beautiful. The rooms, food, and entertainment are fantastic. I was diamond club level which gives you different perks including butler service and Kai and Brandon provided
Butler service like no other. Other diamond club members wanted them from the talk around the resort. It has a kid club and a teen club. The beach is beautiful with waiter service. The ala cart restaurants were all great and the buffet had something a little different each day. I will visit this place again for another wonderful vacation in paradise.
