Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good selection of food and a range of activities to join in with if you want. I loved the enthusiasm and positivity of Jonathan and Elena who ran salsa, pilates and other classes. They also greeted people at breakfast and diner, never running out of smiles and energy. Also, the tall security man on the gate - always a warm welcome as you pass. Cross the road to the beach. Lots to do in the local area - perfect for a short, sunny break.

There are no clear directions to the entrance…it is only Sol written on the roof of one of the buildings, where they told us we are in the wrong hotel. We were looking for the entrance for 40min. Navigation leads to the parking where they don’t want to let you in so you always go back looking for it. I had to go around whole block by walk to finally find the entrance. Before all that we were traveling 2hs from the airport because of some triatlon since nobody informed us that the street infront of hotel will be closed. So we got stuck for 1,5 hour on the spot which should be 7mins to the hotel, by the car. On the reception they blamed Booking for not informing us about this blocade, saying it is not their job to inform us since we booked through the Booking. Reception staff was extremly rude and not willing to help. I travel a lot but never experienced this rudeness. So, when we finally entered the room, and got to the toilet after few hours of unplanned trip, we found dirty toilet. Never saw this in my life. So, went back to reception to change the room, but instead to say sorry, receptionis lady sent me to end of the row to wait all over again, after like few families who came to check in actually after me. This really pissed me off. It was like 20:30h already, my husbands suitcase was lost, we had to go to buy him stuffs while all shops were closing, we were hungry, thirsty, exausted…and recepcionist did not care at all. So I had to call a manager who was more helpfull and finally gave us a room at very last minute. Of coarse we did not have a time to use our dinner that night…we hardly made it to the mall before they closed it to buy basic stuffs. About the room…it is extremly small, the fridge is totally empty, no water at all, no slippers, no bathing coats, not any single kit… it should be a two star hotel instead. My glass was not washed at all for the whole 5 days while we were there. Also, hotel was so crowded we couldnt often find table to eat…most of the guests are over 60 years old, which is actually nice because most of them are quiet and pleasant people. But some of the guests were 90+ with the condition where they should actually be somewhere with professional care… like one gentleman who was probably wearing diapers (I hope!) I could guess by very unforgettable smell he gave me during the breakfast which I couldn’t eat after that. And once again in the elevator, the same guy, other day. I had no intention using pools or any shared facilities after this. So for us they did not exist. We didn’t get bathing coats anyway.

Staying here at the moment. October 9-19th. Lovely rooms slightly on the small side & a little dark inside. Everything you could need ,a fridge,hand soap, shower gel and shampoo & conditioner(but no kettle -but we knew this and brought our own). All staff are very friendly,our flight was delayed three hours-and pilot couldn't land,so we were very late checking in,and the man on reception gave us a bottle of water each on arrival. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis. We're only B&B but the breakfast is the best we've had in Spain so far,with extras like plum tomatoes & potato rosti's breakfast(have brown sauce but no tomato sauce)served from 7.30 - 10.30am. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Lovely location close to the town centre & we had a partial sea view.

Don’t get me wrong this is a lovely hotel, very clean, food was nice except for the first night in one of the restaurants no one enjoyed it but i guess that is just preference. Our room was cleaned everyday with beds made clean towels and to our surprise they had actually cleaned up the clothes on the floor ect which i didn’t not expect. The one problem is the air con that is the only reason i leave 2 stars. the air con has made me so ill and i don’t get ill easily. Woke up with an extremely sore throat and blocked nose my nose got better throughout the day but still a sore throat. I could get through this it’s just how warm it is at night because i don’t want it on because of how sore it makes my throat.

Rooms are small, with dirty walls, and cleaning was not done every day. We left the towels on the floor only once to have them replaced and it was that exact day that the cleaning lady did not come! I found long black hair in the sheets twice, once when I arrived and once after cleaning was done. Hand soap was not replaced throughout a whole week, even if we ran out of it on the first day (there was almost none to begin with). Two of the waiters, a couple of bald guys, were extremely angry all the time, talking to themselves like crazy and slamming stuff while preparing our table for 5 or when cleaning the tables. The rest of the staff, reception, cooks, and dining, were very polite, but visibly tired. This season must have gotten to them from the looks of it.
