Featuring a wealth of modern facilities, its plush furnishings maintain a hint of the historic with an attractive colonial style. The two onsite restaurants serve up a tasty mix of cuisines, and the swimming pool has a lovely garden terrace, which is an ideal spot to enjoy a Singapore Sling. The room is so small, then again we are in Singapore.
Rooms are clean and modern.
It's proximity to Orchard road shopping is impressive.
However y'all shouldn't be charging $42 for breakfast buffet. This is daylight robbery.
If you're staying here, do yourself a favor and walk down to Orchard road, there are so many cheap breakfast options there.

Beautiful hotel. Reception/concierge wonderfully friendly and helpful. Luggage takento our room for us. Massive big bed, so comfy plenty of pillows.
Nice touches, mini toothbrush sets, robes, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. Very impressed.

Very nice staff that made us feel welcome. Nice room, good view of the city and quiet during the night. Only reasons for 4 and not 5 stars: the walk to Orchard Metro and busses is 10-12 minutes, but can be exhausting if you are walking a lot during the day and the do it multiple times. Also, the AC wasn’t working perfectly and the room took pretty long to cool down. All minor things, lovely hotel otherwise.

Rooms are small but acceptable, bed is super comfortable. Now here comes the bad part, toilet water pressure is super bad, had to call 4 times to get it fixed. Mini bar is empty and worst of all no water bottles provided, a glass bottle is provided and the expectations is for you to fill up using the tap water, now this is a so called 4 star hotel. Location is a bit deep in, and don't bother about the breakfast as it's limited to standard bread and eggs and just some other local foods, which more or less repeated any other day. Many other better hotels available rather than this, seriously not sure how they received high ratings thus far. And don't even expect to check in earlier as, they will remind you that " Check in is 3pm sir" ... without even trying to provide other available rooms.

Room was ok, but quite dark, even with all the lights on. Lovely queen size very comfy bed. Good sized fridge. Bathroom lighting over the sink area was dim. No magnifying shaving/makeup mirror provided. Shower over the bath was fairly powerful, although there was a hole in the shower hose, so the water poured all down the wall as well. Shower curtain, not screen, provided. Good air-con. Room cleaning service was excellent. We managed to check into our room by about 13:30. No wardrobe, just 2 short poles sticking out of the wall with 3 hangers on each, but not enough space between them to hang clothes effectively and only one large drawer provided for storage. Good sized safe. A medium sized desk and chair is provided. Also, an ironing board, iron, hairdryer, slippers and torch. Good, large TV to watch from the bed. Small carafe with lid provided to obtain drinking water from the tap, which you then need to chill in the fridge, or you can refill from chilled water jugs in Reception. No chilled water dispenser is available. Nice pool and sun terrace, but very limited sun beds. Breakfast was expensive at £35 per couple and very poor selection of British food. Available 07:00-10:00. No bacon, baked beans only on one day, soggy scrambled eggs, no mushrooms, grilled tomatoes or hash browns. However, the made-to-order omelette station was excellent. When things run out, they do not check and replace. You have to keep chasing staff for replenishment. Limited fresh fruit and yoghurt (when it’s gone it’s gone pretty much). Some cereal, but no porridge. Toast, butter and jam available. No croissants or pastries available. Limited fruit juice options and very slow coffee machine. Hotel is in a good position for the (cheap) local Orchard metro - only a (mostly flat) 10 minute stroll away. Very clean and efficient, easy to use air-conditioned service. Big hospital in the same road, just in case, with a maximum wait time of 30 minutes that we saw advertised outside. We felt very safe walking around the area.
