Lovely hotel, we upgraded to a suite as we had a 2 week stay. It was massive and the view was awesome.
Loads of bars and restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Beach is so lovely and clear.
Lots of cute cats, please bring dry food with you as it’s £12 a bag here!

This is cheap to stay with very basic rooms. The location is great with many bars and restaurants on its doorstep. I would consider the pool small. The beach is nice and the loungers are free and plenty (off season) the staff were generally helpful and pleasant. We would stay again! Whilst the restaurant and Dock Bar are no longer owned but franchised, they were great Adam and Dawn

Good value for money. Our room was a little dirty in some places, but the location is great and the employees were all very nice.

From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us with smiles and nothing was too much trouble. Laurel and her staff did a fabulous job in giving the best spots to eat and information about the island. (The Bistro is not part of the hotel) and is hired out by them. Food took forever some days at breakfast with only 3 to 4 other guests at their tables. Room was very spacious, super king plus a sofa and kitchen. Air conditioning excellent along with the housekeeper keeping room clean. Facing the calm Caribbean Sea.
Sometimes, we were the only ones on the beach and at the pool during the first week but did get busier on our second one. Rooms could do with repainting but didn't affect stay whatsoever.
We hired a car and went out and about every day seeing how Kittitians lived in their neighbourhoods,we were greeted with smiles and waves. Good eating places on the strip are Boozies, Patsy's, Vibes, Monkey Bar and Cathys. Merengue bar did good drinks and Patsy's did the strongest rum punch. Further away if you have car is One Love for Smoothies, Vijay's Roti hut for roti and Trebless for lunch/dinner if you want food where the locals go and is very nice with cheap prices. Will stay here again. Big thanks to Laurel.

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Timothy Beach Resort and I would NOT return. Checked in on our first night and yes the rooms are basic but they’re fine. We don’t mind as long as there’s air con!
However, I woke up early the first morning and had a bed bug crawl past my head. After inspecting the bed, it was literally crawling with black and red bed bugs. We packed up and headed to reception but it doesn’t open until 7am so we had to wait around for that.
The first thing the receptionist said to us after I told her we had bed bugs is ‘do you want to check out?’ And go where exactly??
The reception lady then said she had one room available so we lugged our cases to this next room, however it was smaller and dirty. There were hairs on the floor and it just wasn’t clean. So back to reception we went.
After I said I wasn’t happy and that I was going to contact British Airways the lady said she had a free upgrade for us but it wasn’t available until after 09:30.
We were taken to the room by a cleaner and another male member of staff (I didn’t catch his name). The entire way to the room (lugging the cases again plus a 5L bottle of water this time) the male member of staff was trying to make a joke out of the situation. He was rude and not funny. No one offered to help us with our bags and we had 3 flights of stairs to lift it up this time. Due to the lack of help and my partner lifting his own case and the water, I had a relapse of the bulging disc in my neck. This I did not find funny despite the jokes the male staff member was trying to make.
Meanwhile the manager remained in the back office and would not come and speak to us. The only time she spoke to us was to email my partner and ask if the new room was ok due to the other room not being suitable for me. I think an apology would have been more appropriate for letting guests sleep in a room with bed bugs.
The remainder of the holiday went fine for the most part. My partner was served some off ham for breakfast that is included with the British airways/hotel package. Unless you get there first thing then you could be waiting for over an hour and a half for breakfast.
I contacted British Airways whilst there and they did offer £50 compensation plus the hotel refunded the first nights stay. Unfortunately that first night and the behaviour of the staff just left a ‘bad taste’ for the hotel.
