Just returned from a couple of nights at Club Madina.
Firstly the good points - the facilities and size of the hotel are very good. There are numerous swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds, both in the shade and sun. The choice of drinks on the AI package are good and include cocktails which is a bonus. The food offerings are great at all meal times and there was a wide variety of both local and international food, as well as an outdoor kitchen serving burgers, pizzas and similar. The rooms were of a good size and sufficient for our stay. Animation staff were great and although we didn't partake, they were always doing classes by the pool and evening entertainment.
Areas for improvement - in order to get a towel for the pool, you need to pay 100 MAD each. When I explained that I had no cash and assumed I'd be able to pop this on the room and secured under a credit card, I was told this was not an option and there was no flexibility around this. The food was not labelled and there was a shortage of spoons for serving. My partner has a seafood allergy and not being able to see what was in each food item and then also watching other guests use a utensil for seafood before putting it back in a veggie dish wasn't ideal. Cleanliness of the bar areas left a bit to be desired and the bar top was often dirty and needed a wipe down. Also when ordering a beer, I had to do this at the outside part of the bar before going inside to order a spirit or wine. On check-out, we had a charge added for henna tattoos that we had not purchased and which was abundantly clear to the reception staff when we showed them our hands. Despite this, the printed bill which I was expected to sign still had this charge on. When I challenged this, I was told to just sign it.
A nice hotel but the reception staff let the hotel down due to inflexibility.

Just come back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. Would not recommended to anyone! Staff are very unhelpful and unfriendly especially the reception staff. We arrived and had to wait nearly 3 hours to be able to check in? We were told to sit and wait and laughed at. The food is boring and the same every night just about edible. The facilities are very basic and unkempt. The area around the resort is abandoned and there is absolutely nothing around there. Would give this hotel a 1 out of 5 unsure how it has anymore stars then that?

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Our first impression as we were checking in was not good as a guest was complaining about her room. We found the reception staff to be rude and very unhelpful. Needless to say on inspection of our room we were back at reception to complain as the shower was broken the room was dirty and the rugs on the floor were filthy dirty, really un hygienic. The food was the same each day with very little choice. The drinks were very limited. The animation team were very good warm and welcoming. Ricco took time to sit and chat with the guests which was lovely to see. The cleaners were very warm and welcoming and always checking in to see if we needed anything.
Reception staff were rubbish.

I travel a lot but this has got to be the worse service I’ve ever experienced! All inclusive with not enough cutlery, glasses to cater for its customers! An all inclusive where you can’t get a drink or tipsy, and when you do get served you get a third of a glass of beer that’s gone in no time and have to start waiting to get served again!!!! The food is the same every day, they have theme nights like pasta night or Moroccan nights which are served every lunch and dinner regardless of the theme so themes here are pointless. Animation team have the exact same routine daily play the exact same songs nightly I can even tell you the time every evening the songs that’s going to be next it’s boring 🥱!

If you’re considering booking this hotel please believe the other reviews that say it’s one to two stars.
To start the food and drinks is terrible. It states that it has 2/3 restaurants, it doesn’t mention you have to actually pay for the others. The free food was gross and often inedible to the point where it made me ill. The drinks were equally bad, beer was only ever served in 330ml glasses, cocktails were pre-mixed and had little to no alcohol in them, and the one time I ordered a wine it came in a very dirty glass covered in lipstick.
The zen pool has about 20 loungers, so if you don’t get there early, you have no chance of getting a lounger. For some reason, you had to pay to use the bar at this pool, which made no sense to us given we were at an all inclusive and the drinks offered were the same as the other bars.
The room was dated, didn’t come with basic amenities and the bedsheets were stained. I will say that the cleaning staff seemed dedicated and always checked if we wanted the room cleaned.
The location is about a 20/30 minute taxi from central Marrakesh, which is fine but the location of the resort is very secluded in a gated area, with no shops near by.
The animation team were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic and always made an effort to speak to us despite us not speaking French. The bar staff were mildly annoyed every time we ordered a drink.
It pushes to be a two star resort, let alone the four it claims.
