Rooms were basic and not clean. The place is more like 2.5 stars not 4. The food was good though and the outdoor areas were lovely. The staff need training in customer service. I was away for 4 days all inclusive and only had 2 alcoholic drinks the whole time due to poor staffing at the bars. All the posters telling you about activities and where things were are in French and the staff only seemed interested in helping the French guests. Even the animation team spoke mostly in French so we didn't have a clue what was going on or when. Hardly any of the lights were working in the block we stayed in so it was very unsafe walking about at night, especially when using the concrete stairwells. We were 2 flights up and there wasn't a lift. Our key cards would often stop working and need replaced and it was a trek back and forth to reception. No kettles in the rooms, balcony's were tiny, no bottled water or water fountains nearby and if you wanted use of the room safe you had to pay extra! Our bathroom light was broken and there were chipped and broken tiles on the floor which caused a hazard. Avoid at all costs!

I travel a lot but this has got to be the worse service I’ve ever experienced! All inclusive with not enough cutlery, glasses to cater for its customers! An all inclusive where you can’t get a drink or tipsy, and when you do get served you get a third of a glass of beer that’s gone in no time and have to start waiting to get served again!!!! The food is the same every day, they have theme nights like pasta night or Moroccan nights which are served every lunch and dinner regardless of the theme so themes here are pointless. Animation team have the exact same routine daily play the exact same songs nightly I can even tell you the time every evening the songs that’s going to be next it’s boring 🥱!

Just returned from a couple of nights at Club Madina. Firstly the good points - the facilities and size of the hotel are very good. There are numerous swimming pools and plenty of sunbeds, both in the shade and sun. The choice of drinks on the AI package are good and include cocktails which is a bonus. The food offerings are great at all meal times and there was a wide variety of both local and international food, as well as an outdoor kitchen serving burgers, pizzas and similar. The rooms were of a good size and sufficient for our stay. Animation staff were great and although we didn't partake, they were always doing classes by the pool and evening entertainment. Areas for improvement - in order to get a towel for the pool, you need to pay 100 MAD each. When I explained that I had no cash and assumed I'd be able to pop this on the room and secured under a credit card, I was told this was not an option and there was no flexibility around this. The food was not labelled and there was a shortage of spoons for serving. My partner has a seafood allergy and not being able to see what was in each food item and then also watching other guests use a utensil for seafood before putting it back in a veggie dish wasn't ideal. Cleanliness of the bar areas left a bit to be desired and the bar top was often dirty and needed a wipe down. Also when ordering a beer, I had to do this at the outside part of the bar before going inside to order a spirit or wine. On check-out, we had a charge added for henna tattoos that we had not purchased and which was abundantly clear to the reception staff when we showed them our hands. Despite this, the printed bill which I was expected to sign still had this charge on. When I challenged this, I was told to just sign it. A nice hotel but the reception staff let the hotel down due to inflexibility.

An honest review from a frequent traveller. Staff/Service- very good, always smiles and when help requested, it's provided. Animation team are fantastic. Food tasty and a reasonable range provided when on all inclusive but very limited for younger children. Pool, clean and plenty of sun beds (in February). Heated pool was great. Rooms - clean... however, bathroom was tiny, had to stand in shower to be able to close the door (we aren't large people), very tired and dated, cracked tiles, toilet, discoloured grouting etc- really not a 4* when it comes to the rooms I'm afraid. Things that could be improved- extra quilt for 3rd beds when paying for 3 adults- only a blanket provided. Porters to bring bags straight away, we waited 40mins and went to get them ourselves in the end. There are some lovely little areas for drinks, a court yard and small roof top area etc. Overall, ok for a few days budget friendly break away.

Ummm firstly I would say the hotel looks nice, the pool areas are nice, (Mango bar, very nice, but you pay for drinks/food) there are plenty of pools and beds. Jamal in the main restaurant was extremely polite, always with a smile even though rushing around trying to please everyone! Also one of the ladies on reception,we didnt get her name, she checked us in and whenever we came back to reception, she knew our room number without having to ask Arrange the shuttle to the Medina, its 40 MAD per person, return. Cant complain and a lot cheaper than a taxi Negatives, it says 2 bars...what it doesnt say is, the main bar you can only get alcohol (no soft drinks) and the poolside snack bar only serves soft drinks or beer?! So you have to go to both bars if you dont want a round of alcohol or a round of soft drinks! (Very annoying) there was mainly 1 person on each bar, at most 2, I would hate to be here in the high season as you'll be waiting most of your holiday to be served! Yes, its nice there are cocktails included, would be nicer if the alcohol had any % to it. They looked nice, but tasted of juice and drinking multiple throughout the day/night and never slightly getting tipsy or a slight buzz, is questionable! They are happy to hand out wine by the bottle at meals, not amazing, but you'll need them if you want to taste alcohol in your drink. Meals always felt disorganised, they NEVER started at the advertised time, but rest assured they end on time, I watched them turn off drinks machines and pack away food as people were still queuing for it 🤣🤣 slightly rude! The food was OK, you can guarentee what isnt eaten at one meal will turn up at the next revamped into something new! Dinner octopus, next day lunch octopus salad lol Another annoyance, we paid for late check out. 300 MAD until 4pm, which was fine. The weather was bad, so we ended up in the room before 12, the maid continuously came in to take our towels from 12 until about 2.30. I've never been to a hotel, paid for late check-out, and been expected to not be able to shower or dry your hands between 12-4! Obviously, we said no everytime she knocked, after politely (multiple times) saying after 4pm. She would roll her eyes at us and be huffy about it, which was weird as we needed to shower still! Overall, it was fine. Defo not a 4 star though EDIT: How could I forget my initial impression! Greeted by the Easy jet rep who wanted us to spend an hour to talk about trips we didnt want to go on... when we said weve already sorted what we're doing, he said "its illegal to book things online in Morrocco, something you would find out in the meeting, the meeting is the only time I will tell you your return transfer time. If youre not there, you wont find out" I did NOT like that! What a sh*tty attitude, trying to threaten our return transfer!? We all know the time isnt known until 24hrs before and you're emailed or texted the time, we did not appreciate his behaviour, but that is on easy jet, not the hotel!
