This is different from other reviews. Why??“They’re not like us” It came close the equivalent of a red carpet treatment. On every eye contact we made the AGM followed us to ensure we had an excellent experience. The waiter “Antonie” and waitstaff went above and beyond! Yes.. the property is dated, but very clean. Updated flooring and furniture softens the blow, but major revitalization is needed. The Beach has no wow factor, nor does the food. Parking is tight. Please dine offsite 30min from BGI, 20min from town. Please absolutely enjoy this property Signed “Not like us” -Kendrick

This was our sixth all-inclusive and definitely the worst we've ever been to. Our room was tiny and across a busy street with a unimpressive view of the adult pool. The water in the shower got lukewarm at best. Just trying to hydrate/get water refills was a challenge, so having good cocktail service was a pipe-dream! The pool closed at 6, there was no real entertainment, and literally nothing to do. Worst of all was probably the food....our meal-rating system became 'is this edible?' We were booked for 5 nights but were so disappointed in the property that we cut our trip short, changed flights, and flew back to the U.S. after only 3 nights. We are Marriott Titanium Elite members and booked on points. Marriott members - this is below a Fairfield level hotel in the U.S. The front desk staff was friendly as was the manager, but it seems as though Marriott may need to offer them a lot more support and investment to make this property what it could be, but isn't. *Add: it seemed many of the other guests were from the UK. As my friend from there said - they have fewer beach-island options, so reviewers from there might find this property acceptable.....*

Terrible experience and completely false advertisement. The workers are incredibly nice, but I highly recommend you do not spend your money to travel to this resort. Have to cross the street to get to the pool, which has no view, have to pay extra for room service, have to pay extra for decent wine, waited in the lobby for over an hour to get checked in to our room. There is much more, but will end it there. Please don't waste your money to be disappointed like we were.

I would give this resort a 3/5. Many of the 5-star reviews I read prior to booking this hotel really overhype this place. So, here is the good, the bad and the HONEST review you need. The Good: -Service is excellent. The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. -Food is very good for an all-inclusive resort! I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was and there was a lot of variety. -Room was spacious and clean, although somewhat dated. We had an oceanfront room and the view was spectacular! Also amazing ocean views from the lobby and the restaurant. - Water at the beach is amazingly clear, warm and perfect for swimming. - Free water sports/activities at the beach, including tubing, water skiing, snorkeling. Service at the beach is also great. The servers are constantly walking around offering watermelon slices, popsicles, drinks, and spritz you down with water and eucalyptus oil (nice touch) The Bad: - Hotel is definitely dated and has seen better days - both the exterior and the interior of the hotel could use some renovations. The AC in our room was leaking for days which resulted in us having to change rooms. -Hotel is small and there is not much in terms of nightlife. The hotel does its best to offer some night time entertainment, but the hotel is not walking distance of any other bars and restaurants. This is definitely a more sleepy resort for families and older couples. -There is NO AC in the restaurants or main lobby area of the hotel! Basically, there is no AC anywhere on the property except in your room. This made hanging out in the hotel at night uncomfortable. We were sweating while eating dinner and forced to go back to our room after an hour or two downstairs as the heat made it unbearable. -Beachfront is super small and next to some sketchy house which is really an eye sore. That said, they do offer free ferry service to take you to their sister resort's property for a better beach area. -The hotel is actually split into two, with the adults-only section across the street. The nice pool depicted on the website is actually across the street. I found this to be misleading. Overall, the staff and the excellent service did make up for some of the property's other lackluster features. Food was also awesome for an all-inclusive. That said, I would not return or recommend this to a friend. The resort is very small and dated and the AC situation (or lack thereof in the restaurants/lobby) was a dealbreaker for me.

My family and I will definitely go back because of the associates. From Ryan the Operations Manager who welcomed us on our arrival, to T’Keyah who checked us in and my 3 year old daughter called her my friend/nice lady, to Valerie who was the server at Seascape. 1 more associate at the cafe/seascape dinner apologies as I did not get her name. Kudos to the management team for creating a wonderful experience for my daughter. Very spacious and modern rooms. 2 pools available at property. Adults only and family pool. Family fool which we used and majority of the time we were the only one in the pool area. Beach. Although sister properties better beach front options like Crystal cove and Turtle beach, beach was still accessible and had complimentary water sports included in package. Dining options. Buffet breakfast at seascape. Buffet lunch buffet at seascape. Dinner Ala carte options available at seascape and depending on day Shisho Asian Fusion. And of course room service. Water taxi services. Only available through Marriott west side of the island properties definitely worth trying. I know it’s has been mixed review about this property but definitely on our list to come back.
