Wonderful hotel and restaurant. We originally booked this hotel because of the Fish Pot restaurant. We were so pleasantly surprised with the beautiful accommodations. The staff was also incredibly kind and helpful, Trevor and Olivia especially. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms had everything we needed.

Stayed for 2 weeks, we went half board for most of the time which was a mistake in hindsight, dinner was in the Fish Pot Restaurant, the menu is limited if you are eating there for any period over say 5 or 6 nights that being said the food is fabulous, service excellent, view amazing and the breakfast choice outstanding. I would definitely recommend a car as the complex is a little remote but for us that was a bonus not a negative. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was nicely maintained and had quality furniture and good outdoor space, it was serviced every morning to a really high standard. Overall an outstanding experience made extra special by the staff who were simply the best.

We have had lunch here twice during our stay in Barbados. We loved the food, what we loved: The jumbo prawns which were to die for, the octopus, the catch of the day which both times was perfectly cooked and the steak which I would have felt dubious about as in my experience cows in the heat don't produce good meat.  My friend is big on steak he likes his tomahawk and was very enthusiastic about it. The sticky toffee pudding also got rave reviews. Decor and restoration of the old building was wonderful. I particularly liked the views we had out of the middle room where looking through the square windows the white contrasted beautifully with the  turquoise and blues of sea and sky. The beach chairs umbrellas and outside service was just right. The snorkeling is about average for the Caribbean where little care is taken of the coral. However the floating pier is a great amenity that is provided for getting past the rocks. I really can't think of anything we didn't like except for the online booking system which could do with some improvement.

First off let me say I am an experienced and adventurous traveler, but I left Little Good Harbour half way through my five-night stay because I simply felt unsafe. The windows are slat windows and they do not close (I was told to pull my curtains if I wanted privacy) and the rickety old key they give you to your villa is close to useless. The location is right at the end of the island is very rural and deserted - I like peace and quiet but there is literally no one here. You can eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel or not at all. To get anywhere costs $100 by cab. I do not recommend this destination especially for single travelers.

This is a 5 star rating for a special resort towards the far north west corner of the island of Barbados. If you’re looking for somewhere without crowds, this is the place to be. Little Good Harbour Hotel is compromised of small, but comfortable, one to two bedroom villas. We stayed in a one bedroom villa which was equipped with a kitchen and lounge downstairs, and a bathroom and bedroom upstairs. The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed, is air conditioned, and is equipped with a TV, safe and plenty of storage. It also has balcony with sea views. The villa is well presented and cleaned daily as you would expect. LGH has an associated restaurant called the FishPot which is well regarded on the island. We spent most evenings there sipping cocktails… mostly their rum punch… and watching the sun set over sea and the hotel’s private beach. Which reminds me, there is a dive school set up on the beach which facilities day and night dives. It’s also the pick up point for Captain Dwayne… singlely the coolest dude on the island… who will take you on cruises around the island and ply you with more rum punch. All in all, we love this place. It is paradise.
