The Sands Barbados All Inclusive was perfect for my Christmas holiday stay. Greeted by Emerson, he helped the start of the check in process. A friendly gentleman named Ricardo escorted me down to the beach front eatery as my room was being prepared. The eatery opened to turqoiuse water & white sand - travelers from all ends of the earth were about. I met Ms. Margaret at lunch, who assisted with taking care of seating and food order. Later on, I met Kelly at dinner, who is a doll. Food was tasty. Front desk rep Monica was kind and down to earth, too, as she completed the reception & Ricardo showed the way to the room. Room was clean & beautiful, great view. All the staff I encountered were respectful and polite. I met Chad toward the end of my stay and he was very nice, too. A highlight is there’s a female security guard who handles her business & it’s cool to see a woman holding safety down. Sands Barbados has a sweet charm and felt like home to me. I’d definitely go back!

Had a lovely week there. Staff great. Got upgraded to a lovely room which was amazing. Beach wonderful. Everything great and would definately return. Got stung by a portugese man of war jelly fish in the sea and the staff helped me immediately and sorted it, so a massive thank you to you all. You are a credit to your hotel.

Excellent service from wonderful, caring staff. It's a wonderful oasis in an urbanized neighbourhood. Beautiful, clean beach. Food was always delicious and provided in good portions. Spacious accommodations on 2 levels. The main detractor for me was the room A/C; it was Very loud, not particularly strong and the single unit in the bedroom was not enough to reach the living area on the lower level where it was consistently uncomfortable. The positives strongly outweighed the negative.

Just back from a brilliant week here and they say people make your holiday and it's never more evident than here at the beautiful "Sands Barbados" where from the moment we arrived to departure date we met the most friendly and accommodating people in a holiday destination we've ever met in all our years travelling. The Hotel itself has no front door and the back door is literally the blue sea that kisses the sand beside the bar where Antonio and the other bar staff will make you a cocktail you'll never forget to friendly Steven who will bring your cocktail to you on your sun lounger on the silver sandy beach if you can't muster the energy to get it yourself. The food was excellent with a buffet breakfast each morning and 2 three course meals-with wine later in the day in the restaurant which again is looking directly onto the beach,for those who can't wait for their next bite or just want to stay casual they can order off an all day grazing menu available at the bar. Entertainment was on every day and night we were there and was really good organised by Kemar,Sabrina one of the staff dances along with the guests and if you've been you know who I mean. We also encountered the charming assistant hotel manager Rebecca Cheeseman who came over to us a few times during our stay to make sure everything was satisfactory-which it was,there are too many other friendly staff members to mention. To sum up an unforgettable place to holiday with loads to do outside the hotel as well which I haven't even touched on. The hotel is within walking distance of St Lawrence Gap and Worthing Square for more restaurants and late night entertainment. Oistins fish fry is a short taxi ride away and is a must go on a Friday night, What are you waiting for? (might see you there)

Room was fantastic the A/C really cooled down both the bedroom and the living room/kitchenette area. Top tip leave a note with the front desk to not turn off the A/C when room service leaves. Overall service was good not great at times hit and miss, no real complaints though, Overall acceptable. The beach was absolutely beautiful and perfect in all ways. Calm stunning waters. Sandy floor next to Worthing Beach another great spot to go to if a red flag is up at the resort beach. Food for the most part was good breakfast buffet fantastic. Lunch was either a buffet or sit down depending on the day same for dinner. Our one experience at the roof top Noir restaurant which is the only air conditioned eating location. Food there was fantastic service impeccable. Lack of A/C in the main out door dinning area can be a challenge due to extreme heat and humidity. Oh and keep an eye kn the birds joining you for all meals. Overall good experience. Location is absolutely perfect walking distance to the St Laurence Gap for those that want other eating and night life options. Close to shops and pharmacies, and a discount market for consumable goods and low prices vs the Market at the end of the parking lot. Room Service was excellent room was serviced twice a day. Only improvement would be having a do not disturb sign for the door. Highly recommend The Sands for couples and families.
