This is a beautiful, well maintained resort. The location is breathtaking, and the landscape on property grounds is amazing. Like a botanical garden. I stayed in the 1-bedroom deluxe suite with a private rooftop pool. This room was great and enhanced our stay. We enjoyed breakfast and late nights on the rooftop. The hospitality was superb. The Crane has pink sand beaches that were cleaned every morning with an amazing view. Food on the resort was delicious. I ate at the Zagat rated Asian restaurant, beach grill, and restaurant on the cliff overlooking the ocean. The beach grill was lively as they had a fire show, music, and bonfire with an open bbq buffet. I highly recommend this resort and I will be returning to this resort in the future. Barbados is a wonderful island.

The Crane was really nice considering it’s the oldest hotel in the Caribbean. Kinda reminded me of the Waldorf. Had a family of monkey come visit us one morning which was a pleasant surprise. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Resort was pretty well maintained but there was some painting that needed to be done. But workers were painting and landscaping the entire time we were there. Overall great resort .

Such a beautiful resort. The grounds are kept up very nicely. The 6 pools were such a unique feature and gets guests to spread out so you feel you are at your own pool. Two of the pools were not in service for a few days but towards the end of our trip they were working again.
They need to stay on top of cleaning the pools better though.
We enjoyed each restaurant and mostly had superb service.
The rooms were very nice (buildings 3 and 4) the housekeeper was great snd made sure we always had what we needed.
The staff at the gift shop were unfriendly and rude. However the staff at the General store were so friendly.
We loved the private beach! The water was beautiful and the pink sand was so soft. They keep it up nicely!
Overall very impressive!

This resort is absolutely gorgeous!! Plenty to do, professional and friendly staff, outstanding facilities and great restaurants! There is really no reason to even leave this place! The crown jewel of the Caribbean!

Due to the proximity of the hotel we travelled from the airport for lunch. We left our luggage with the porter and he gave us a lift to the restaurant. We had a few hours to spare and had lunch at the Carriage House. Relaxed seating and a view over the pool to the sea. It was in a breezy covered terrace. After lunch we took the lift down to the beach. Lovely private cove with facilities. It’s a large historic hotel in mature grounds close to the airport. Thanks to Joan in reservations for the advance correspondence via email before we arrived.
