I went on vacation here with a big group (over 20). Almost every single person had a problem with their rooms. They were dirty, lacking refrigerators, broken coffee makers, leaky, small, and old. We made a big deal the first night because we had elderly with health problems (such as diabetics) that needed fridges (that were promised but not given), and that the rooms needed to be cleaned because we had people with asthma. We were told we had to "deal with it" for a couple days. After pestering the front desk we were given a fridge in one of the rooms and got cleaning done. The buffet was good but they were a little unorganized. Breakfast was good (singing waitress was amazing!), lunch is bare-boned, and dinner was good. The beach is phenomenal!!! I did not swim in the pool but it looked great. The resort is old and run-down. They are doing work in the back so you'll hear a lot of construction. Leaks everywhere, expect to get dripped on everywhere (hallways, rooms, etc). Only one restaurant other than the buffet (Pizza Factory). It's good but it has few things. The workers are mostly nice (the manager can be a little brash and unhelpful), with the exception of a couple workers that get overly flirty with my teenage daughter. At night there is either a DJ or a woman singing. Nothing really for entertainment but that (though the woman singing had a wonderful voice).Supermarket and restaurants near resort. (walking distance). You are recommended to book trips outside with the hotel. We did so, paying 110 US$ for a trip around Antigua.It was terrible, worth maybe 40 at most. Expect to leave covered in beach flies (this isn't the resorts fault, just making it known) A girl from our party left early and was told by her doctor the red bumps were bedbugs, but they weren't. They are beach flies.

What a beautiful location, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The resort was purchased recently and improvements are being made daily. Painting, updates to outside furniture. The food was delicious, staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are older and in the process of being updated. Even being our 35th wedding anniversary we didn't even get an acknowledgment or an upgrade. The basic rooms have no refrigerator or coffee maker which was disappointing. A broom and dust pan would make the lack of room service much more tolerant. Getting a reservation to the Italian restaurant was near impossible, we gave up. A grocery store is 5 minutes walk for any forgotten items. No ATM at the resort, one at the store that was out of money. Had to take a taxi.to st johns, nut you can't beat this resort for the money. The pools.are clean, the beaches are cleaned every morning morning, the mornings are amazing and the sunset even more amazing. Plans to return

I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The food and drinks were delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the beach was beautiful. Although the hotel was fully booked, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it was easy to secure shade and beach chairs, and there were no long lines for food and drinks. We had no issues with hot water or the public bathrooms, which were always clean. We appreciated that the tap water in our room was safe to drink, making things more convenient. The weather was gorgeous every day, with quick and light rain showers that didn't bother us at all. We loved our vacation in Jolly Beach!

My family chose Jolly Beach for our family vacation. It was eight of us including my 12-year-old niece. We were able to check in smoothly and were placed in different rooms around the property. For the rooms a little further away, the staff was gracious enough to drive us in golf carts. The rooms were dated but comfortable. We had a balcony that looked to the ocean and the sunsets were beautiful. The food was quite wonderful. The Pizza Factory is a popular restaurant there and my brother-in-law had to wake up at 6:30 a.m. to get in line to make a reservation for that evening. They do not take early reservations. For the excursions, we worked with Margaret on the grounds who is a rock star! The beach was beautiful, clean and well-maintained. One of the bars also stayed open until 1:00 a.m. There were activities every night and my family had a blast with karaoke. Now for the issues. Our bathroom flooded every time we showered because the curtain was too short. Our WiFi did not work and our phone did not work either. I put in a work order but it was never completed nor did I get any updates. My in-laws had issues with their rooms as well. The other members of our family did not have any complaints. Overall, I would stay here again. It was simple and I still had a good time.

Was a relaxing day, I had a day pass here. Receptionist was lovely. The next lady we saw was also lovely she was the lady in the palm restaurant that greeted you 1st. After that it went down hill. You could feel the attitudes. Especially the lady at the bar. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I thought they had done renovations, couldn't see anything new. The bathroom needs a make over. It maybe the cheapest all inclusive, but it's still in the 1000s. They need to do more. There was a lovely chef though. Friendliness goes a long way.

Wife and I spent 11 days at this beautiful resort. The staff is fantastic and do a wonderful job. Food is varied and well prepared. You certainly get enough to eat and drink! Grounds are well looked after and the infinity pool is gorgeous. The 4 beaches and views are spectacular. The beach bungalows are private and quiet. If you want peaceful serenity it's found here.

We had an excellent 5-night stay at Hawksbill Resort and would definitely stay again in the future. Location: The resort is located in a cove that almost feels private with how secluded it is. There are beautiful views in every direction that you look, with beautiful blue waters and excellent sunsets with the resort facing west. It is a 20-30 minute cab ride from the airport, which was easy to book when we landed. There are plenty of options for tours, including boat tours where you can get picked up directly at the resort. The resort is definitely on the quieter side, so this is just something to know if you are looking for more of a party atmosphere. We are in our 40s and were on the younger side of people during our stay. Rooms: We spent most of our stay in one of the Royal Palm Beach Bungalows, which was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is huge with a nice tub. In these rooms, you get a shaded pergola and your own chairs directly on the beach. The beach in front of these rooms was a bit more rocky than the main beach, but it is a short walk to any of the beaches. We did spend our first night in one of the Garden View Bungalows due to changing our trip dates, and the condition of this room was not as much what we expected. We had a corner unit where the view from the window was of a fence in the back of the property, and the room definitely needed some upgrades (cracks in the floor, broken blinds in the shower, etc.). I know that the property is in the process of doing renovations, so hopefully this room (Room 81) is on the list. Amenities: The grounds are beautiful, with four different options for beaches, in addition to the amazing infinity pool on a hill overlooking the ocean. It did seem that the beach chairs tended to be claimed early, though we never had any issues getting chairs near the pool. It is easy to get kayaks, snorkeling gear, etc. to use. We enjoyed the food, especially for being buffet style. There were always different options (including local options) in addition to staples. We also booked a private dinner, which was a multi-course meal with excellent ambiance. Drinks were delicious with a wide variety of options. My wife got a massage, to which she gave positive reviews. Service: Overall, the service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and there was always someone around to help when needed. We never had to wait long for a drink or anything else we were looking for. Special shout-out to Sackeno (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) and Errol, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we loved our relaxing stay and would recommend Hawksbill to anyone. As mentioned, hopefully renovations on all of the rooms continue to make the property even nicer.

Beautiful resort. The grounds are well looked after, and it when you are sitting on the beach, it really is paradise. The rooms are rustic, clean, and comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern with lovely showers. The staff are very polite and helpful and work really hard to make sure you have everything you need. Food is plentiful with lots of options and better than average for buffet. Sea Grapes beach is great for relaxing and swimming and close to the bar for drinks and snacks. I can't wait to go back.

An exceptional location with magnificent sunsets. The service staff from arrival to departure were attentive. The food and entertainment were exceptional. The water was crystal clear and warm for floating all day. Even the access to water sports was amazing. A destination worthy of returning to.

This is a 3 star all inclusive in my opinion. Cons... the FOOD. It is just NOT good. We stayed 4 nights. By day three we dreaded going to dinner and wished we were closer to restaurants outside the resort. We had a car, but the location of this resort did not make it feasible to leave for meals. For this reason, I would not stay here again. Low end alcohol as well. We never received clean towels in our room and always had to ask for them. Our room was not the "Oceanfront" room so be careful when booking. Never enough beach chairs. You have to go early and put your towels out. Pros... the beach is beautiful, walkable to Eden Beach and also beautiful! Use of kayaks, and paddle boards was great. Rooms are fine, clean and basic. Quiet and relaxing place.

Went on vacation for my husband’s birthday and we had a ton of fun on this resort! Lovely Staff, very friendly. Very calm & clean. If you are looking for a laid back relaxing trip, this is your place to book. The dinner wait time was a bit extreme but the chef was amazing. One thing i will warn everyone about is this taxi driver who works for the resort. He will try and take advantage of people because he is money hungry. We took a 10-15 min trip away from the resort late at night to get food and he tried to charge us $40, when the trip into town to come back & forth was $20. So, it is not like we weren’t willing to pay him, it was him improperly trying to get over on us because he knew we weren't from the island. Not only did he try to overcharge us, but he started telling other taxi drivers not to pick us up and followed us to the airport when we were trying to catch our flight back. He pointed his dirty finger in our face and accused us of being thieves after we tried to negotiate a reasonable price with him & even the lady at the desk said we were not wrong. Coming from a person who works in an occupation of dealing with clients all day, this cab driver lacks professionalism and courtesy & needs to be fired because he will do this to other guests. The hotel and staff are lovely, setting amazing and staff professional and welcoming. They are willing to go over and above to make your stay enjoyable. We loved it and like most visitors...leaving and coming back to England came all too quickly. Thank you Ocean spa team. :) only complaint? I was unable to find a suitable desert.. due to allergy...and when I did on the last night.. it was not as I expected. However, the standard and quality of the food is very good...we were on all inclusive but opted to pay extra for premium meals on certain days. Well worth it. Talented kitchen staff. Thank you Ocean Point staff for a lovely, restful, recharge for Christmas 2024. We both needed it.

Great spa/ mini condo type units. The pool is good size and salt water. The beaches are pretty nice (there's 2). The bar is open most of the day, bartenders were fun and made some good drinks. The restaurant opens 3 times per day, has good food- but smaller portions than I'm used to. Staff is friendly and upbeat - so far wonderful & helpful. Keep up the amazing work :)

I had a wonderful time staying in this resort while visiting the beautiful Antigua island. From the moment I arrived at the resort I was greeted with a smile by very friendly reception team. Also before arrival the communication was great (once again thank you to Rossana for all the support and prompt responses to all my queries). I also need to extend my thanks to the restaurant and bar staff - very friendly and professional. I enjoyed the meals which were not only delicious but also always beautifully decorated. Cocktails and smoothies were also very good - the blueberry mojito was one of the best I’ve ever tried. I enjoyed my room which was a good size and I had a nice view from my balcony. The room was very well maintained and spotless clean. Additionally the resort is located in a quiet location so I had a really nice and peaceful time.
