The customer service at this hotel was very poor. Giving two stars instead of one because many of the workers were very nice and the facilities, food, and location weren't so bad. The rooms and furniture around the hotel and resort were a little dated, but decent. The real problem is very few of the staff members were helpful at all, with a complete inability to answer any questions we had. Many times there was nobody at the towel station or we were told no towels or no open chairs at the beach, and when we asked when lunch started at 1:10 pm, they told us it started at 12:30 pm but they were running late so it wasn't ready and couldn't give us a time that it would start. The menus apparently didn't have everything you could order as we saw people with different food, and some staff said you needed reservations for dinner and some didn't and we never actually had to make one which was weird since we were told the first night that we would need to. With the all-inclusive package, staff were contradictory and sometimes made you still sign a bill and others acted confused when I asked if we needed to. The food itself was pretty good, but the service was extremely slow. The same was true for the bartenders at both the resort and hotel in general. They were nice, but sometimes you got the wrong drink, or it would take super long. The place was just very confusing and inconsistent all around with the shuttle between properties sometimes being early or up to 20 minutes late. It seems like they could benefit from just more training and consistency because I think the workers were nice. For an all-inclusive experience that costs a lot of money, we expected much better and more professional service. Overall we had a great time in Saint Lucia, but the experience here and level of service really didn't match up to the beauty of the island and other people we met for taxis services and excursions.

Location is great close to restaurants and bars! Safe to walk day and night. Nice budget friendly place for kids and adults. Pools are small but you can take the shuttle to their main Bay Gardens Beach Resort to have access to beach, bigger pool and small water park. You can do their all inclusive package, half board (breakfast and dinner only) or breakfast only. It can be expensive in their restaurant if you pay out of pocket. I personally don't think the buffet was worth $130 that included food at 2 drinks. Their main fast food restaurant is KFC in case you travel with picky kids. Safe in our room didn't work. If you want to book a good tour do a private tour of Soufiere which had bananas and sauce tasting, pictures stops, drink tasting, cassava bread tasting, nature walk can be difficult for people with bad knees but the views of the Pitons are incredible, the sulfur springs (mud bath) was nice but can become crowded. Wear a bathing suit and bring towel. Warning, you will stink, but it is worth it. Waterfall was great! Bring money to buy things you may want to get. Overall, it was a good stay and I would come back.

I had an amazing holiday in St Lucia. Very comfortable stay at Bay Gardens Hotel. Clean room and facilities. Peaceful swimming pool and gardens. Close walking distance to the beach or accessible via a free hourly shuttle bus. Excellent bar with delicious drinks.
The staff were fantastic and really made my stay special - all so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Quincy, Terry, Helena and Danny who went the extra mile.
This was my first time in St Lucia but I will definitely be back!

Ok so the room they allocated to us was really iffy.
Spoke to reception and all was put right. Fab room in a nice quiet part of the complex. Staff are so friendly from the cleaning team to the management all helpful and go out of their way to make your holiday perfect.
Food at this hotel is also very very good. I would highly recommend.

Bay Gardens Hotel is a lovely place to stay in St. Lucia. It's quiet, the staff are very friendly, and security makes very regular rounds to ensure guests' safety.
Outside of the pools, there is a bar and kitchen at the hotel. It's conveniently close to Massey Stores for groceries, and the mall and restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. There is nothing you can't find out between Google and asking the friendly and helpful hotel staff.
The shuttle bus can take you to all three Bay Gardens locations, one of which is located right on the beach, and it promptly leaves the hotel half past every hour with enough space for ~13 guests.
There are also activities hosted by the hotel throughout the week, such as poolside games, Pigeon Island Hike, karaoke, bingo, and more.
Feel like you're home away from home here, but be sure to get out to do activities and to see the beauty of the island, the culture (take money for souvenirs and tips), and its people!
