Amazing Stay at Bel Jou Hotel. My Partner and I, had a great time staying at this hotel. The place is very nice and quiet. We took this time away to relax and we definitely did. Its so calm that you can hear the bird sing and literally fall asleep on the bed near the pool. A Special appreciation for MADRINA !!! She makes us feel home. Always looking out for us and our need during our stay. The staff is nice, polite and fun, they are all making sure you have the greatest time. I could say a lot of more good things about this hotel, but it's better to discover it by yourself. I recommend and I will come back

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional and catered to my every need. I would like to give special acknowledgement to Shanel and Mardina at the Veranda Restaurant and the Cabana. In addition, I found the food to be fresh and absolutely delicious. My room was beautiful and clean and featured a breathtaking view of the ocean and lower pool. Because of its location in an area elevated above the city, the hotel offers panoramic views of Castries, which are best seen from the rooftop bar. Speaking of bars, the drinks were definitely excellent as well. There are a lot of stairs to climb, so be aware of this when booking a stay here. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. It is as good as or even better than most of the all-inclusive hotels in which I have stayed in the past.

Absolutely loved the hotel. The Lounge a place to relax for those quiet moments outside of your room. The coffee shop to pick up good quality coffee and a book or just to chill out. 2 pools never seemed over crowded... Loved the Aqua Aerobics good fun. Variety of food and drinks, great All Inclusive Package. To be greeted every day by whichever member of staff you met from the Managers to everyone that works at the hotel made my trip Superb.

A very memorable Stay at Bel Jou. My recent stay at the Bel Jou Hotel was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Shoutout to Mickey and Quincy specifically. They are both great! The food was delicious, with a variety of options to suit everyone. I was particularly impressed by the food since its a smaller resort and from my past experiences food at all inclusive can be a hit or miss but they did a great job. I absolutely loved it there was always a local dish option because I like to eat local foods wherever I go. One of the highlights of my trip was celebrating my birthday during the hotel's Creole Festival BBQ. The festivities were amazing, with many talented musicians and dancers. The food was amazing and friendly locals. It was a truly authentic cultural experience. The hotel's free shuttle service to the beautiful beach was a convenient and great way to spend the day. The pristine waters and stunning scenery were simply breathtaking. Definitely one of my top favorite beaches. I highly recommend the Bel Jou Hotel to anyone seeking an affordable relaxing, laid-back vacation in St. Lucia.

We have visited several Caribbean islands and stayed at many resorts. By far, St. Lucia’s Anse Chastanet is the best, most wonderful, most romantic place to spend a holiday. The island is lush, the weather consistently warm, the people well-educated and the economy prosperous. Built on the side of a mountain, Anse Chastanet was designed with imagination, style, luxury and beauty. The staff are friendly, helpful and many have work at the resort for decades. We loved our beachside grass-roofed cabana where food and drink can be easily ordered. The restaurants serve delicious and varied meals. And, there is much to do: snorkeling, a sailing-away, scuba diving, plantation tour plus the many places to visit on the island. We are already planning to return next year…but for a longer stay.

We dined at the Treehouse Restaurant. The service was good, the view was lovely, and the quality of what arrived was ok, but the portion sizes were absolutely laughable. $16 got me just ONE spring roll cut in half! And my $29 "large plate" of gnocchi was at most 4-5 tablespoons of food (though the ceramic plate was enormous, so not technically false advertising). To top things off even though our table was vegan, which everyone knew, I was served hot cows milk with my espresso. It's very hard to enjoy your meal when you've been fed something you don't eat for ethical reasons, and could be dangerous if you had an allergy. I could have looked past the mistake but our couples meal cost $150 and we left hungry.

I never post reviews, but I had to make an exception for the Anse Chastanet resort. This place is truly one of a kind, and my wife and I recently spent the honeymoon of a lifetime here. Resort - The resort itself is located on a gorgeous 600-acre estate that’s shared with the Jade Mountain Resort (Voted the #1 resort in St. Lucia by Forbes!), perched up on a lush jungle mountainside with direct access to not one but two of St. Lucia’s most beautiful and secluded beaches, with some of the best coral reefs for snorkeling on the island. The entire compound is made to look like one big tree house, with most rooms having open air views of both the surrounding rainforest and Caribbean Sea. While most rooms don’t have air conditioning and it can get hot (especially in October), there are Beachside rooms that do have A/C in case you can’t live without it. But there’s nothing quite like waking up to tropical birds chirping in the surrounding canopy of a Hillside room as the sea gets lit up by the morning sunshine. Food & Drink - The food and drinks are some of the best my wife and I have had at a resort, and we couldn’t believe the quality with an All-Inclusive option. There are multiple different restaurants you can dine at, with constantly changing menus depending on what’s in season along with outstanding local seafood selections. The Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain actually own an organic farm outside of the town of Soufriere (which you can visit) that supplies all of their fresh fruits and vegetables. We truly looked forward to every meal as well as the beachside rum cocktails. Staff & Service - But at the end of the day, it was the resort staff that made our stay truly extraordinary. For only 79 rooms across the two connected resorts, there are over 500 team members ready to make your day. From the moment we left baggage claim at the airport to the minute we were dropped back off at UVF, we were treated like royalty – as if we were the only ones staying at the resort! My wife and I have traveled quite a bit but we’ve never experienced service at this level before. Always greeted with a genuine, warm smile, there was no request too big or small for the staff. Two individuals in particular, Peter and Ryan, went above and beyond to make our stay that much more memorable. If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind resort on St. Lucia that melds natural beauty, delicious food, and unforgettable staff, Anse Chastanet is an incredible find.

My husband and I purchased a day pass at the resort for my birthday and it was awesome! It included lunch and other food as well as a drink package. There were also a few surprises from the staff. 😁😁 We got chairs and an umbrella and a server that gets your drinks and food. There is an incredible snorkeling area that is roped off but you can snorkel anywhere there. Thank you so much for offering the day pass - it was just perfect!!

We chose this resort to spend our honeymoon that was due for more than 25 years and therefore, we wanted to live an unforgettable moment and it was the case. We decided to go to the resort by helicopter and return to the airport by boat because the drive is very, very long. Yes it costs but it is really worth every penny. At the resort and in all aspects of our trip, the staff was very kind and dedicated to make your stay a fantastic time, the food was excellent and we would like to say that the restaurant that we liked the most is the Soy (sushi bar), staff and food wow! We always recommend reserving a table because restaurants fill up very quickly. Our room was very nice and very clean, we definitely enjoyed its proximity to the lazy river. The only negative point of this stay was the fact that our room (Crystal Lagoon Walkout Swim-up Club Level) was on the edge of an extremely busy road and therefore terribly noisy day and night. Very noisy motorcycles passed at full speed as well as large trucks. We understand that this is the purpose of a great road but when one tries to rest or sleep next to it, it’s another story. Everything would have been perfect without this great inconvenience. But hey, we’ll know for the next time:)

Great restaurants with loads of excellent choices for food. Shuttles to other properties were a great way to spend part of a day.

We had our honeymoon here and it was an absolute dream! Quite, intimate resort with excellent service! Food and drinks were great, room service arrived quickly and was always warm! We had a massage with Vanessa, and she was wonderful! We left feeling so relaxed. We will definitely stay with Sandals again

Loved our stay at Halcyon. We came for our honey moon and had so much fun. This resort is smaller and more intimate than the others on the island. Highly recommend butler service if you can get it! No children, adults only! We did a marriage ceremony that was awesome and very romantic! Can highly recommend. The sushi restaurant was our favorite!

Beautiful resort, amazing employees and picture perfect location. Honestly everything about this trip was a 10/10. Beach was gorgeous, water was pristine and the result was well kept and clean. We loved the restaurants, Gordon's, Barefoot by the Sea and Toscanini's in particular. The pool bar, manned by Peter and Francis was top notch, and you've got to try all 3 of Peter's special drinks. He's been there 20+ years and for good reason. He offered outstanding customer service and consistently excellent drinks. Fav was our server when we ordered pool side service and she was excellent as was the food. The conch fritters and jerk chicken lollipops were worth coming back for. Housekeeping and overall hospitality were 5 star offerings and were constant reminders that you get what you pay for. Can't recommend this resort highly enough. It was our second trip and well definitely be making a 3rd.

Fantastic trip overall, amazing location. Ed at the Scuba Diving Center/ boat really made the diving experience excellent. Can’t recommend him enough. Really great that the diving and gear rentals is included in the stay, which was our deciding factor to book here. Food at every restaurant was top notch. The British pub decor/ vibe was surprisingly authentic and we kept coming back! A couple things did detract from our trip, however: One night the VERY loud Fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building. (False alarm) Every chair by the pool and beach had been “claimed by someone” with their towels or bags, but the entire beach and pool would be empty of people. I wish the staff would go around every other hour and pickup the area to keep it open for use. Lastly, a majority of the food service staff seemed genuinely annoyed to be there/serve guests. It’s a weird feeling to be at a resort and feel like a bother to receive food and drink service that you paid a premium for.

Loved the beach and the main pool was very nice. Our room overlooked the back pool which looked dirty and apparently either sadly in need of repainting or worse, full of algae (brownish green splotches all over the pool). The room was very nice and there were no issues there. Food was more miss than hit. dinners were largely meh and uninspiring except for Kimonos and Barefoot by the Sea which were better. Lunches and breakfasts were better than dinners. Service was also very uneven. Certain staff members were warm and friendly, a larger percentage were unfriendly and maybe even apathetic to us and our friends who we traveled with. The evening entertainment was good, but unlike prior Sandals, management really never promoted what was coming up. For example, they had a white night on Friday which was sparsely attended and with very few people in white. Resort 9 points Breakfast and lunches 8 Dinners 6 Entertainment 7.5 Service. 6.5 Room. 8.5 Housekeeping 7 Total 7.5 out of 10 or 3.75 out of 5 All in all, I just don't feel that the value for your vacation dollars spent was great enough to justify going back.

The scenery is beautiful. Food was pretty good. Activities was okay but at night not the greatest. Dont bother scheduling the snorkeling trip, snorkeling here is horrible you will see next to nothing. Rooms are not luxury not at all. Bar tenders treat you like they don't see you unless you are holding money in your hand. The resort is located 2 hrs from the airport and it's not the easiest ride. Wasn't worth the money we spent. There are lots of cats that are not taken care of no food put out for them and they drink pool water. They look sick from it. Jamaica took good care of their resort animals putting out cat homes food and water for them. It was so sad to watch here.

We stayed at Serenity at Coconut Bay for our ten year wedding anniversary in the premium plunge pool butler suite. A truly wonderful experience! Every staff member ready to go above and beyond with the service to ensure our holiday was unforgettable. Nightly performances were highly entertaining. We had the pleasure of having our butler McGregor take care of us during our stay at Serenity, and we can’t speak highly enough of the service. From the very first moment we arrived, McGregor made sure everything was perfect. He was always there to help, whether it was making a dinner reservation, offering great suggestions for things to do, or just ensuring our room was stocked up with our favourite drinks and snacks. McGregor was always there when we needed him, but never intrusive – just the perfect balance of being helpful and respectful of our privacy. On top of that, McGregor was warm, friendly, and made every interaction feel personal. It wasn’t just about getting the job done – it was clear that he genuinely cared about making our experience memorable. We’re truly grateful for his exceptional service. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’d be thrilled to have the chance to experience it again.

I can’t say enough about the staff at this resort. Everyone is so welcoming and eager to make your stay be relaxing and fun. They will remember your name immediately, and make you feel at home. Our butler McGregor was amazing. He was very attentive and was always palming ahead for what we needed or ways to make our vacation romantic and special. The restaurant here is the best. The food was always great and the staff is so happy and friendly. This was our second time here and we are now hooked and plan to keep returning.

We loved our honeymoon at Serenity. From the moment you step out of the car we were greeted by Ethan our Butler who made sure we were well taken care of. He schedule our week out to perfection where there was plenty of time to relax but also had a fun adventure around the island to experience the beauty on St. Lucia. All the bar tenders including Ray, Kevin, and Charles made the best drinks and had great service. The food was amazing and the service was excellent at the Greathouse. Our trip was amazing. We had read countless 5 star reviews about this resort and it lived up to our very high expectations going in. Perfect for honeymoon which we did in Feb. 2025. You are truly waited on hand and foot with the butler and 24/7 room service availability. Our butler, Quade, did a fantastic job and always was the most polite, professional, and fun butler we could’ve asked for. Kurt also assisted us and was fantastic as well. Kevin, Charles, Ray, and Jonathan at the bar all made delicious cocktails and were so fun to talk to. The housekeeping staff did an amazing job, we had Patrice and Trisha and the room was always in excellent shape along with many little details that went the extra mile. The restaurant wait staff and room service staff are always smiling, happy, and so helpful for whatever you need. Joela and Ginel were fantastic servers! Make sure to book at least 7 nights for the included couples package: massage, sunset cruise, pool cabana, beach cabana, and island tour as we enjoyed all of these experiences. You have access to the other main resort where families are but you really don’t even have to go over there. Truly an awesome honeymoon experience. Finally, once you drive around the island you will enjoy the resort’s close proximity to the airport.

TLDR: absolutely stop reading this review and book your trip. From the moment we booked our honeymoon trip, every single task was done for us, other than packing our bags! The booking system was amazing, being able to include flights was huge for us. After we booked, we pleasantly found out we could pay in installments. Once fully paid off, the true relaxation began! We got a call two days prior to arrival from our Butler, Nerissa, who later we would find out to be the nicest, sweetest, most amazing lady! We arrived on 2/9 (Superbowl Sunday) and we were greeted at the airport with a private car that took us to the resort. Upon entry, Nerissa was waiting there with drinks for us and took our luggage, and we were in paradise! From there on, we got a tour and booked some extraneous activities. Narissa even scheduled a dinner the night of our arrival as we were really hungry from a full day of travels! The food was absolutely AMAZING with endless options, and the nightly sangria at the Greathouse was a fabulous touch. We had shrimp scampi, fried octopus, lobster linguine, etc. and we were never ever left hungry. There is also music every night for a fun vibe! The resort pool/hot tub was our favorite spot late at night into the early mornings, to spend out in the warmth staring up at the clear skies was just surreal. The activities on the island are plentiful, we booked a couple’s massage, a private cabana dinner, and a sunset cruise. Every single detail was worked out and scheduled for us to make sure we attended those activities and they were all amazing, to tie the vacation together so nicely. While many couples at the resort weren’t huge drinkers, the endless bar options were by far our favorite part. Plus, we met Nagoya, the bar manager who took care of us starting on Superbowl Sunday (P.S. get her French 75s!!) she was soooo friendly and bubbly every single night she worked and really just made us feel like family. Plus on karaoke night, Kevin was a kickass DJ and made sure no one’s glasses were empty! If you’re still reading this, I hope this convinces you to go: the rooms are SILENT and PRIVATE you could hear a pin drop. It was absolutely what we needed to get away from a busy suburban life. The private plunge pool was clean and a wonderful touch, with the outdoor minibar for our morning mimosas. Having 24/7 food and drink options made us feel like royalty, you’re never going to want to leave!! Overall, if you can’t tell, we fell in love with this resort for our honeymoon, and we’re already talking about going back this same year! This is our new vacation spot because no other vacation will live up to this resort. 1203936168/10 recommend! Be sure to book at least a few nights, you won’t want to leave 😊
