Serenity at Coconut Bay

My husband and I came here to celebrate our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our butler Ali who gave us fresh coconut water with rum. She then gave us a brief tour of the resort so we could know where everything was located throughout our stay. After that she showed us to our room and helped us set up massage appointments (booked through Serenity’s honeymoon registry.) The following day we had a different butler because Ali was off and he helped us set up a couples Private Tour. We got to see some breath-taking views of St. Lucia and visited some of their most popular sites such as the volcano & sulphur springs, diamond waterfalls and the botanical garden. It was a fun day on the island and the transportation service Serenity uses has the most friendly & knowledgeable staff! The next day Ali helped us set up an excursion to do chocolate making at Hotel Chocolat and we had so much fun! Thank you again Ali for taking such good care of us during our stay! I would also like to shout out a few staff members that made our stay at Serenity one for the books. Thank you to Kevin who always made sure we had a drink in hand and brought the vibes! Thank you to Tyler for being the absolute sweetest and going above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taken care of. Thanks to Jonathan (Coconut guy) for making us some delicious drinks in our coconuts on our last day. And of course a huge thank you to Tracy & Trisha who always kept our room clean and left us adorable notes. With their impeccable staff, amazing food & drinks and the love you feel at this resort, I hope to return soon!

Everything about this stay was incredible. All of the staff here from the butler to the dining staff to the “coconut man” were attentive, kind, and welcoming. Your butler is just a phone call away :) The room here is stunning; there is truly nothing like a private pool and patio. The food was pretty good and having breakfast delivered every day was a convenient perk. We LOVED having dinner each night at the great house which had frequent live music. I can only hope to come back. The only tough part of the stay was the 2 hour wait in line at the airport for customs upon arrival. It was very very hot and crowded. But this has nothing to do with Serenity! Just something for travelers to be aware of!

My husband and I’s trip to St. Lucia was nothing short of spectacular! From the airport being 3-5 minutes away from the resort - to - the moment we pulled up to Serenity greeted by our awesome Butler (McGregor) with a fresh spiked coconut drink! 🧉 And all the memories we made in between during our honeymoon stay was amazing! McGregor was so welcoming & so much fun to have as our butler! We will never forget him. He made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. Provided Tito’s alcohol bottles for my husband & romantic surprises in our room. McGregor really helped us plan our excursions for the week! We did the Sail and Snorkel around the Pitons which was awesome! 🛥️🗾⛰️ Our favorite excursion he recommended was the Escapade (I think is how you spell it) and it was SO much fun! We had a private driver who took us around the island where we got to see the volcano 🌋, have mud baths (DEFINITELY WORTH IT), see the waterfalls & botanical gardens, and stopped at the Chocolate hotel where they make St. Lucia chocolate 🍫 We also rented a beach cabana for the day and it was so relaxing. McGregor provided us a cooler of drinks and made the space relaxing for us. He also picked me up and took me to FlipFlops to get some pizza and then dropped me back off at the cabana! We LOVED our dinners at Serenity’s Greathouse every night. The Chef’s at The Greathouse were AWESOME. Some of the most delicious food that we already miss! We also enjoyed “room service” for breakfast every morning too. But we always looked forward to dinner 😁 Being “gluten free” and Dairy free, they had fresh gluten free breads (so good!) and gluten free pancakes, gluten free French toast, gluten free cake. All of which were amazing! Sorbets were so good for desserts. The homemade sangria drinks for dinner every night were AMAZING. FlipFlops even had a gluten free pizza crust & dairy free (vegan) cheese!! Hard to find resorts with these dietary restriction options! Extra thankful for the options Serenity & Coconut Bay provided since most resorts don’t offer as many yummy options. Our beach couple’s massages were excellent and relaxing too. We also enjoyed hanging out at Harmony (Coconut Bay adults-only area) & relaxing by the ocean. They had beach cabanas that swivel/move so you can lay different directions based on where the sun is at. Such a neat experience!! We also really enjoyed the fitness area since it provided a lot of workout machines! The only recommendations I would have for Serenity is better night life / more things to do at night for couples. Maybe more performances or entertainment or game nights! After 9pm, it was hard to find things to do (unlike a cruise where there’s tons to do!) We would typically go back to our room & hangout in our Plunge Pool or hammock mostly (Apparently, we went during the “slower” months so it wasn’t as busy). But we wish there were more couple’s activities/events after dinner. Hands down, one of the best island trips we’ve ever taken! Our honeymoon felt like a dream come true ♥️

Our honeymoon at Serenity was amazing! It was by the far the best resort vacation we've ever been on. The highlight was definitely the staff, who knew our names and treated us like royalty from day 1. Our butler Davidson was a phone call away and checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. He set up our schedule for the week, including excursions and dinner reservations, before we even arrived, so we didn't have to make any decisions. Our servers at the Greathouse restaurant were incredible, especially Ginel, who was so friendly and welcoming, and took amazing care of me with my food allergies. If you are gluten free and/or dairy free, you'll have plenty to eat (gluten free bread, pizza with vegan cheese, wraps, burgers, tacos, and even croissants!). Every meal was delicious - not your typical resort food. Ray was at the bar every day and made us amazing drinks. We loved the various nighttime events that the staff put on, from karaoke night to a rum tasting with Caribbean food stations and a fire show! A highlight of our trip was the beach cabana day, part of the Grand Romance package, which we highly recommend. We can't wait to go back!

This hotel is exceptional. Serenity is exactly what you experience, plus so much more. The staff was friendly, caring and went above and beyond to please. Our butler Quade, was very welcoming and made sure we had all our needs and wants met. He was always pleasant and very caring. We can’t even put into words the exceptional service, from other staff members, as well. ( Ray, McCarthy, Charles, Tyler, Natoya, to name a few). We were treated like family. The food and drinks, were delicious and plentiful. The nightly shows and scheduled events were entertaining. Our 30th wedding anniversary was unforgettable.
