There's no shortage of thrilling things to do at Ari Atoll including scuba diving, snorkelling, water sports, island hopping and fishing.
South Ari Atoll - also known as Alifu Daalu - is a jaw-dropping marine protected area where you will encounter such wonders as whale sharks, while North Ari Atoll - also known as Alifu Alifu - is the place to catch sight of hammerhead sharks in all their glory.
The magnificent reef is close to the shore on many Ari Atoll islands, making it easily accessible - simply wade out into the crystal-clear waters for a few metres and marvel at the beauty of the coral and marine life all around you. Ari Atoll's main island is Rasdhoo which is home to around 1,000 inhabitants. The island’s beauty and natural charm, and its superb coral reefs, make it a hot favourite with scuba diving and snorkelling enthusiasts. Rasdhoo is home to several luxurious hotels, top-quality restaurants and a few shops.
