My stay at NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort at the unreal baa atoll with its crystsl-clear lagoons and insane coral reefs, was absolutely outstanding from A to Z, thanks to the incredible team! Not only are the island and the resort a true paradise, but it is the people working here who truly make it one! The wonderfully warm and welcoming F&B Manager, Ala, together with her team, performs at the highest level and turns everything into an unforgettable experience. Speaking of indulgence: Kaiyo, and Alifaan, alongside the Jumla Restaurant, are true culinary highlights that simply must be experienced and enjoyed. The various bars serve exceptional drinks – and where could one enjoy a sundowner better than at the Sunset Bar, Atardecer , right on the beach? Every single employee at NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort is amazing. It is truly remarkable how much dedication, passion, and effort each team member puts in to ensure guests enjoy an incomparable holiday. The management team is extremely competent, highly organized, and supportive in every respect, always available with advice and assistance. The resort’s offerings leave nothing to be desired: whether water sports, diving with the experts from Aquafanatics, snorkeling, or various boat excursions. The Revive Spa pampers body and soul to the highest degree. I arrived at NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort expecting to have a lovely stay – but that it would be this beautiful, I could never have dreamed. Thanks! 🤩

The resort is located on a truly beautiful island, where you can snorkel and encounter turtles, dolphins, and so many colorful fish. But while the nature is breathtaking, what truly makes this place special is the people. From the very first moment, Valentin makes you feel welcome with his warmth. Alla is always smiling and brightens every day. Dilu’s healing massages are unforgettable, and Smiti never fails to remember exactly how you like your coffee. Reefa’s positivity and kindness are contagious, while Majid always makes sure you are well fed and taken care of. Diana at the reception never forgets to ask how your day has been, which makes every interaction feel personal and sincere. And last, but definitely not least, my favorite: Sandeep. He’s the one who told us that you can spot dolphins in the morning from the bar, who always had a fresh, cold coconut ready, and who was constantly there to make our stay even better. A big thank you to the entire team for turning our stay into such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Our stay at Reethi Resort was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve had - anywhere. The rooms were unacceptable: bugs everywhere (especially in the washroom), unclean and torn bedsheets. When we complained, we were told to “embrace the bugs” because it’s a “nature resort.” That excuse might work for a budget eco-lodge, not for a so-called 5-star resort. Service was poor and unfriendly. A staff member named Kesna (not sure if i spell it right) was particularly rude and dismissive when we shared feedback during billing. Food was below average, with very limited variety. We chose this resort for New Year’s celebration, and it was an absolute joke. They burnt a few coconut tree leaves and abruptly ended the celebration - no fireworks, no groovy music, no atmosphere. The New Year feast cost extra, which is fine, but the spread didn’t remotely justify the price. The pathetic celebration completely ruined our New Year, especially while we could see a far better celebration at a nearby resort, before walking back to our bug-filled room. They claim free water, but provide only one 2-liter bottle per day; refills cost extra. The resort is extremely remote, the boat ride is rough, amenities are poor, and the property feels dated. They also operate on “Reethi Time” (1 hour ahead of Maldives time), effectively forcing an early checkout. We’ve stayed at many other Maldives resorts, and none were this disappointing. Absolutely not a 5-star resort. We regret choosing Reethi and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Fantastic house reef, fantastic service, super attentive staff that go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Very ‘generous’ in their service too. Highly recommend going for an all inclusive package. Only two quibbles are more frequent and affordable water activities and a more vibrant night entertainment scene.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Royal Island Resort & Spa, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the very first moment, we were surrounded by breathtaking nature, beautiful beaches and a warm atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the excellent food – the culinary variety and the consistently high quality of the cuisine were outstanding. Every meal was a pleasure, and it was clear how much care and passion goes into the dining experience. A very special thank you goes to Ali, the Restaurant Manager. With his friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming manner, he made us feel at home from day one. His hospitality added something special – he even gave us a recipe of a wonderful dessert after request. Thank you so much for that! His support, attentiveness, and warm personality made our stay even more relaxing and carefree. This was the best holiday that either of us have been on. The island, accomidation, the food, the activities and the vibe was all really really nice. We spent a lot of time snorkling, for which the water even just a few meters into the ocean was exceptional. The diversity and quantity of sea life was top tier. Speaking with others there, even those who travelled just to snorkle and dive agreed. The house we had felt very private, with access at the back to the beach, we were on the sunset side and it felt almost like a private beach oftentimes. Overall the experience was amazing, if we could have afforded to stay longer, we would have Azhaan was our main guide for the activities, and he was exceptional, very helpful and friendly, and his freediving/photography skills were great too Rajesh kept our accomidation in a constantly pristine state Ali in the restaurant made us feel very welcome

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly taken care of the villa with pool.The service, the food, the weather, and even a surprise for Anniversary. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and my wife’s birthday fell during the trip. The resort team arranged everything beautifully, and their attention to detail made both occasions feel truly special. The food through out the restaurant was excellent on premium all inclusive. We also had spa experience, which was unforgettable thanks to Aramu spa team specially guided me and ensured I had a great time. Every moment here felt effortless and well taken care of. A very special thanks to our boy Noblee ,He was absolutely outstanding on arrival and until our departure .He went above and beyond to make our stay smooth, comfortable, and memorable. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made a huge difference.He is one of the best staff member we’ve ever met at any resort. Overall, this was one of the best trips we’ve ever had. Royal Island Resort was simply wonderful, a place that truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an exceptional staff: always kind, friendly, and smiling, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our entire stay. A special mention goes to Noble, who assisted us with great professionalism and availability from the very first moment we set foot on the resort until our departure. His constant presence, attention, and warm attitude made a real difference. The buffet food was excellent, both in terms of variety and quality. We particularly appreciated the idea of dedicating each dinner to a different international cuisine, allowing us to enjoy a true culinary journey around the world, always well curated and full of flavor. The snorkeling on the reef surrounding the island is simply spectacular, with an incredible number of fish of all kinds and the chance to spot turtles, rays, and blacktip reef sharks, all among beautiful coral formations. The island itself is a true natural paradise: its lush vegetation gives you the feeling of being in the middle of a tropical jungle, accompanied by the soothing sound of birds singing, which gently wakes you up in the morning and lulls you to sleep at night. This, together with the constant sound of the sea, audible even directly from the room, creates an incredibly relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The beach villas are spacious and equipped with every comfort. If there is one small aspect that could be improved, the rooms, while maintaining a consistent and harmonious style, could benefit from some modernization. That said, they are very well maintained, and the beauty of the island, the quality of the services, and the overall experience make this detail truly secondary. The resort also offers a wide variety of well-organized excursions and pleasant evening entertainment. We truly cannot wait to return: staying at Royal Island Resort felt like living a dream with open eyes.

A wonderful place with wonderful people ! ✨🌴 We loved every minute of our stay. There is so much to do between the house reef, the activities and the spa. Massages are fantastic ! They really know what they are doing ☺️ All restaurants serve great food. Our favourite was the vegan option Sala. Such creativity and love was put in each of the dishes. Service was fantastic and Amila always gave us great suggestions. The Bar is the best place for amazing sunsets and the staff is friendly and always smiling. Snorkelling around the house reef is fabulous. There is everything you expect to see: sharks, turtles, rays, colourful fish, and nice corals. Dive shop is amazing. The equipment is in great condition, the boat is immaculate and very comfortable and the dive instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cycling around the island makes it so lovely. Anas our butler was helpful, very responsive and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for him, thank you ! We’ve spent a wonderful couple of days in an ocean villa at Dusit Thani Maldives. Our butler - Danil, was very kind and helpful. He truly knows how to make people feel like home. Same goes to the rest of the staff and management. Wonderful place, wonderful people. A little piece of paradise.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. Our experience started with a few minor issues, but the team was quick to respond and resolved everything professionally, which made a big difference. From that point on, we were able to truly enjoy our time here. The boutique hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and we were impressed by the level of care and attention to detail from the staff. Every interaction felt genuine and friendly, and the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Dusit Thani Maldives: A Slice of Thai Paradise in the Indian Ocean Returning to Dusit Thani Maldives always feels like coming home, a true testament to what makes this Thai brand so special. The hallmark of gracious Thai hospitality is present in every moment, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout the stay. I stayed in one of their water villas, which was spacious, beautifully appointed, and perfectly balanced between luxury and comfort. I was delighted to find Diptyque amenities in the bathroom, my absolute favorite brand, a small detail that made a big difference. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was simply amazing with a wide variety of international and Asian cuisine, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. For lunch, I enjoyed the Sea Grill, where the combination of great food and stunning ocean views made for the perfect midday indulgence. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was dinner at The Bunkering. We ended up dining there every single night, and as a Thai, I have to say their authentic Thai food is beyond exceptional, possibly some of the best I’ve had outside of Thailand. The service was equally impressive; Khun Rungnapa and her team went above and beyond to make every meal special. Finally, the house reefs around the resort are breathtaking. I saw a vibrant array of fish and even a few turtles, making each snorkeling session magical. Dusit Thani Maldives perfectly blends Thai charm with Maldivian beauty, a place where luxury feels personal, nature feels close, and every detail is delivered with a smile. I can’t wait to return.

We just had an exceptionally amazing stay at Dusit Thani. We are even sad to leave this wonderful place. First, you get an amazing villa with an exceptional butler service. Our Butler Saleem , smiling all the time, checked on us every evening, booked the most amazing services and tables for diner. Attention to every detail of our stay. Big thanks to Saleem! We get the best pool villa of the resort. Villa 308 with ocean view. Amazing cleaning service twice a day. I have rarely seen this type of service. Then we get to the restaurants. Our favorite was the Seagrill! Fresh seafood almost daily! Every dish was delicious, fresh and made with love. On this resort, you get 35 chefs ! Yes and the head chef has its own garden that we had the chance to visit. It was so nice to see that most of the herbs and salads were farmed on the island. Honestly we were impressed by the quality of the food: from the morning buffet to à la carte restaurant: every dish was well thought ! Big applause to the Executive Chef Olivier ! And a big thank you to the head pastry chef who made us an amazing exceptional dessert only for me and my husband. It was an amazing surprise 🥰 Now we come to the location: well the house reef is simply magnificent! You will get to swim with sharks, turtles, colorful fish and much more. Snorkeling became our favorite activity. The cherry on top of the cake: the sustainable way of running the resort. I had the chance to talk to Laura their sustainability manager who took the time and explained how they recycle food waste to a fertilizer, how they manage general waste, how they collect data through millions of excel sheets. I really appreciate that they take care of the environment as well. We loved every second of our 12 days stay. The sunset cocktails on the sandbar were unforgettable. This is our fifth time in the Maldives and first time in Dusit Thani. The resort became our go to place when we think of the Maldives. We are already making plans for our next visit next year. To close this long review: I want to say a big THANK YOU to Saleem, Kaka, Upali, chef Hasan, Chef Olivier and the GM Jean Louis ! And all the housekeeping staff ( they left a happy birthday message made with leaves) You guys rock ! Well done for an amazing and well managed resort!

We’ve just finished our 9 day dream stay at this paradise hotel as a family of four with two kids (4 and 5 years old). As a Bonvoy ambassador I’ve been to many great hotels but this hotel, and the experience delivered through their extremely engaged, attentive and genuine staff went above and beyond! The entire stay from arrival to departure lived up to highest expectations in terms of their staff - shout out to everyone but particularly to Rohit, Min, Nicholas, Zainey, the team at the dive centre, the fitness team - just wow!! We felt extremely well looked after and the team delivered many surprise moments. The restaurants offer great variety in terms of meals and also daily changing options including BBQ evenings. We loved both IK and Hawker and will try The Pearl next time for sure. Min their executive chef is creating a wonderful ambiance and fulfilled every dream of our kids / including cotton candy. We stayed in a pool bungalow by the beach which was beautifully appointed with great taste and cleaned twice daily. The bathrooms are huge and the outdoor shower faces the beautiful turquoise sea. Spectacular!! The kids club had a great program with daily variety and a nice and caring team. We did three boat trips for snorkeling and one trip included a private lunch on a sandbank. Once in a lifetime moment. Thank you and we hope to being back soon!

This was our third stay at the Westin Maldives, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, the experience was flawless. Deepak and his entire team made everything seamless before we even arrived, and that same level of care continued through arrival, our entire stay, and departure. Every detail felt thoughtful, personal, and genuinely warm. The resort itself is stunning—beautiful villas, pristine beaches, and an atmosphere that instantly allows you to relax. What truly sets this property apart, however, is the people. The entire team consistently goes above and beyond, making you feel not just welcomed, but remembered. A special highlight for us on every visit is the ocean experience. The house reef is exceptional for snorkeling, with vibrant marine life right off the resort, and the scuba diving is excellent. The dive center is professional, safe, and incredibly well run. Iyaan deserves particular recognition—he is hands down one of the best dive masters we have ever dived with anywhere in the world. His knowledge, calm presence, attention to detail, and passion for the ocean make every dive exceptional. Returning for a third time says everything. The Westin Maldives isn’t just a resort—it’s a place you genuinely look forward to coming back to, again and again. We already can’t wait for our next visit. Highly, highly recommended.

Only a 3 hr flight from Mumbai, It was an opportunity to visit Maldives. We stayed for 5 nights and so happy with our Westin Miriandhoo resort choice using Marriott bonvoy points. A 30 min. seaplane flight from Male landed us in paradise. Although sold out, with only 59 villas, it never felt crowded. So glad we chose the beach front villa with our own wading pool, private shaded lounging area and just steps from the beautiful main beach. The over water villas are popular, but the water is deeper and currents are stronger on a windy day. I rarely saw anyone enter the water from the ladders. All staff were kind, respectful and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our Bonvoy status and we chose to pay 1/2 board to include dinner at the regular buffet, Hawkers and Pearl restaurants. Ala cart is available too. Additionally they add ++ (tip and tax) ~ 26%. Upon arrival the greeting person will explain meal options. All the food was deliciously fresh with good variety, but it's an additional expense. Pet peeve is that they don't include complimentary coffee and tea with meals. (4* for value. 5* for everything else.) Villa and grounds are beautifully maintained by many staff. They post a calendar of complimentary activities: pool games, yoga, exercise classes. Also tennis/pickleball court. 24 hr fitness ctr . Dive center provides complimentary snorkel gear and paid excursions. Enjoyed the spa! They offer guided snorkel trips to the reef drop off. Easy snorkeling right off the beach. Saw 3' black tip sharks glide onto the beach preying on small fish. Glad I wasn't in the water at this time, but they assured us these sharks are rarely dangerous. :)

I would highly recommend going to westin for your maldives holiday. We were travelling with two kids and the staff were all very accommodating and helpful. They have a kids club with activities for the kids and our kids enjoyed them alot! The team at dive centre were all very experienced and helpful, we did a waterfun ride, and due to kids on board, they had to checked in on us ensuring we are okay during the ride. The team is really good at coaxing the children and assuring them, cos at one point my girl decided to cry and wanted to get out of the ride, it was too scary for her. The guys in the speedboat were very assuring and caring. They ease her and calm her down, we managed to complete the whole ride. A big shoutout to ilhsan who always checked with us on our well being and he bid a fond farewell to us before we depart. Amira (i don't know if i got his name right), he answered our query about the marine lives and he gave us a little sneak peak behind the pearl restaurant where we can see shark activity. Jimmy who checked us in was very well versed with the resort and buggy us through, introducing the features of the resort. We booked an overwater villa and the view was stunning! We will definitely choose westin again if we ever come back to Maldives! Thank you Deepak (who was so hospitable and very good with the kids) and team! Your staff did a really great job from greeting us at the airport, to sending us off right to the check in counter when we depart! This is service over and beyond! Outstanding Dining Experience & Exceptional Head Chef – Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort Our stay at The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort on Mirandhoo Island was exceptional, and a huge part of that experience was due to the Head Chef and culinary team. For a resort that is now seven years old, the food program felt fresh, creative, and truly world-class. The Head Chef went far beyond expectations, taking the time to personally understand dietary needs and allergies, and then creating custom meals that were not only safe, but absolutely outstanding. This was not “special accommodation” food—it was fine dining, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Every meal felt intentional, flavorful, and memorable. The level of care and attention to detail made it clear that guest experience genuinely matters here. What really stood out was the hands-on, concierge-level approach from the kitchen. The Chef and staff were proactive, communicative, and incredibly professional, ensuring that every dining experience felt effortless and stress-free—especially important when allergies are involved. From breakfast through dinner, the quality was consistently excellent. Fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and a level of personalization that you simply don’t find at most resorts. The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is a stunning property, but the culinary experience and leadership from the Head Chef truly elevate it into something special. This is a resort that understands that food is not just a meal—it’s a core part of the luxury experience. We would absolutely return, and the food alone is a reason to do so. Highly recommended.
