Yet another fantastic resort that has grabbed a stunning location.
Nestled in the hillside between two private beaches, it is paradise.
The villas are rated in location and private facilities, i.e., pools, etc, so be ready to break the bank.
Or possibly be slightly disappointed with your location within the resort.
We paid for an upgrade to an ocean view villa but were disappointed with our balcony view being the lower villa of a two-tier villa set-up.
Food and drink is also at the very top end in costing but is excellent
Breakfast is tremendous and is served in the Mahe restaurant with stunning views out to sea and Silhouette Island in the distance.

Dear OVB Team,
I wanted to thank you all again from the bottom of my heart! You helped me so much with the preparations and the organization to surprise my friend on her birthday and supported me in every way that I could not have imagined better. It was planned perfectly from start to finish: the cake was delicious and you rounded it off with an unforgettable live Happy Birthday song performed by the local band!
Thank you very much. We will always remember this evening! ❤️❤️❤️

We stayed 2 nights at Hilton Northholme Resort upon arriving for our Seychelles island-hopping vacation. The resort is beautifully designed, and the villa accommodation is spacious and full of amenities. The bathroom and balcony are definitely the highlights of the space, featuring a jacuzzi tub in the center of the bathroom and a large, fully furnished balcony overlooking the sea.
Unfortunately, there was some construction work right next to our villa, which disturbed our first morning for hours, especially because we couldn't leave the villa due to heavy rain. From Hilton, I would have expected better planning. However, as compensation, the resort arranged our taxi ride to the ferry the next day.
The breakfast is great, offering a full-range buffet with sweet and savory dishes, fruits, vegetables, and juices. The omelette was dry tho, but I think it was more of an “different egg type” problem than anything else. We had good breakfasts in general and also tried both their restaurants for dinner. We loved both the Mediterranean and Creole restaurants, which had a great selection of meals for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets. At the Creole restaurant, we were taken care of by a very nice waitress. Unfortunately, we forgot her name, but she truly made our dinner experience special with her attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism.
The location is far from most things by walk. It's a great option if you just want to stay at the resort and maybe take some taxi rides, but for a longer stay, we wouldn’t have booked here due to the inconvenience of traveling around the island. Previously we stayed at other locations with great access to buses or places that could be reached by short walks.
All in all, we had a great stay, but given the brand name, the place could do a bit more to live up to expectations.

We visited for our honeymoon and have been so excited to visit the Seychelles for over a year now and upon arrival we were really impressed with the hotel and its surroundings.
Our hotel room is big and clean but it is very run down, we have had endless issues. The issues being: the mini fridge leaking, the lights not working, the windows being broken causing us to be bitten alive by mosquitos and the bathtub randomly deciding to turn on the jets flooding the bathroom (twice) while my partner was brushing his teeth. We reported these issues and the only thing that was fixed was the windows which were pried shut with a screwdriver….this is a 5 star hotel as you can imagine this is not the experience we hoped for.
On the first day we were laying by the pool when the wind picked up and blew the umbrella over, I went up to pick it up so that it would not blow onto anyone else, but another gust of wind ended up trapping
my fingers in the umbrella and sending me across the decking. I must say when this happened the staff on site were absolutely lovely and brought me ice and checked to make sure I was okay. However the situation and the parasoles should be addressed by management because someone else could have been really hurt.
We were gifted a bottle of sparkling wine to apologise for all the issues we have had in the room. While I understand the sentiment, we are not big alcohol drinkers and this doesn’t rectify all the issues considering the fridge still didn’t work and the lights were still broken. These items were fixed later on in the trip, (after a few more calls) and we were treated to a meal on the hotel (drinks not included).
The hotel is located near to the lovely Beau Vallon, but expect to spend around £10 each way for a 5min taxi ride. We tried walking it and it, but it is an especially dangerous road, without any pavements. Considering their monopoly on the island, it would be nice if Hilton offered some sort shuttle or discounted rate for journeys down, simply to not risk putting their clients in potential danger.
Nothing that I’ve mentioned is the staffs fault, everyone we’ve spoken to has been very friendly and accommodating but overall, other then the scenic views, I am really unimpressed and would not recommend this hotel at all, especially not for your honeymoon.

We stayed at Hilton for three days. We had exceptional service specially from Bekele and Liza from the restaurant. They always put smile on our face and made sure our vacation is memorable. On the other side, we booked our room for sunset view but we didn’t get that which is a little disappointing.
