We booked a Superior Room without a beach view, and they gave us a room with a roadside view. It’s not that bad.
The check-in process wasn’t particularly fast. We still had to fill out forms and have our passports scanned. There was an additional tourist tax to pay, which we could settle using a card.
The room is spacious and smells fresh. I didn’t notice any mold, likely because it gets direct morning sunlight.
However, the room has a broken plug, and they didn’t fix it, so we could only use two outlets. The towels looked old and had a few holes in them.
Breakfast options were limited.
Overall, it’s a large hotel with great beach access, but they need to improve maintenance and service.

Sucks,I paid 60$ a night only wanna clean enough sheets and pillows. I have to wear shirt and pans to sleep in case get dirt from the bed. Already on the way back to the town, can’t wait to leave here.
The view is good though. But the beach is polluted. Better somewhere else not this area.

Bayview Beach Resort was a 4 star hotel long ago but definitely only a 3 star hotel only now. Reception and service is good. Everything else is just old and dirty somehow. Pick this hotel only if you want to live near the beach but I will definitely pick somewhere else in my next visit.

Comfortable Stay with a Few Challenges
I recently stayed at Bayview Hotel in Batu Feringgi, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms equipped with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay.
One of the highlights is the large parking area, which is convenient for guests with vehicles. However, finding a parking spot can be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours. Despite this, the hotel offers a range of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a restaurant serving delicious meals.
Overall, Bayview Hotel is a great choice for those looking for a comfortable stay in Batu Feringgi. While parking can be a bit tricky, the excellent facilities and friendly service make up for it

Apart from the location of the hotel being close to the beach (within walking distance), decent shower facility and nice beach views, the cleanliness standard of the hotel is dismal.
Upon check in, the pillows provided had a smell which reminded us of body odour and was clearly not cleaned properly. On our last night, the towels provided to us had the same smell, only that it was stronger and we were too afraid to use them anymore.
To the management, please look into your cleaning protocols for linen and intimate items such as the towels. The bare minimum we can expect from a hotel is to have clean and fresh sheets.
