We spent an amazing 5 days at this beautiful hotel! The rooms were amazing with a beautiful sea view to wake up to every morning. The room was spacious, clean and was definitely 5* standard. We opted for the breakfast which was an amazing buffet with various different options including an egg station, salad station and fresh pastries, breads, gorgeous local honey. However the best part of the hotel has to be the staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the cleaners to the front desk staff, always happy and smiling and willing to help. We hope to be back soon!

Fantastic Stay at PARKROYAL Penang Resort We had an amazing experience at PARKROYAL Penang Resort during our family trip from December 19 to 22. Our room on level 4 was incredibly spacious, featuring a super king bed that could comfortably accommodate four people. The staff were exceptionally caring and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious food and drinks to suit all tastes. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and great food. We will definitely return!

Staying at PARKROYAL Penang Resort was an absolute treat! I hadn’t been here in over a decade, but my recent visit was nothing short of perfect. The ambience is stunning, blending luxury and comfort seamlessly. The staff? Top-notch—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is unbeatable with direct beach access, giving you gorgeous views and easy seaside strolls. I love that convenience shops, restaurants, and laundry services are just a few minutes' walk away—it makes everything so easy! The hotel feels like a slice of paradise, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Whether you're enjoying the facilities or soaking in the beach vibes, everything is thoughtfully designed to make your stay memorable. It’s hands down the best hotel in Malaysia for me, and I can’t wait to return again. If you’re looking for the ultimate getaway, this place is worth every penny. Five stars all the way!

This hotel was recommended by my wife. It was the best 2 days i ever had. Cozy, welcoming staffs, beautiful environment, not to mention clean places. The staffs makes us feel so special that we don’t wanna leave!! I would come again no question asked.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Staff are really friendly, anything you need they'll do their best to get it for you. I was unwell and asked for ginger and honey, they were accommodating and sent the tea to my room. It's a very clean hotel and they have a variety of different options for breakfast. They also provided us with some breakfast to take to the airport with us when we were leaving. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Penang :)

Best resort ever! The hotel ambience is lovely. I feel being welcomed everywhere. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. Food quality is superb but variety can be better. It was a pity that during my stay there is construction at the beach. Only a small stretch of beach is open while you need to bear with the excavators nearby. Alternatively you can walk further down to use the beach at Golden Sand hotel.

Excellent rooms, service and overall experience. Housekeeping in particular was exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Minor feedback - the TV / media system is a little bit lacking but not really important when there are so many other things to do around the hotel and Penang in general.

We had an amazing stay here, the rooms are beautiful and the resort has so much to do. We were lucky enough to get our room upgraded at a minimal cost. The staff go above and beyond and are incredibly accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend for anyone travelling to Batu Ferringhi.

It’s a lovely resort in a great location, though the service is a bit hit and miss. There were lots of folks that were trainees, so they didn’t know what they were doing. On check in we didn’t get any information about events that were going on in that day or how anything worked at the resort. Rooms are nice and we had a great view, pools are clean and well maintained, the ocean is right there so you can hear the waves crashing. Good breakfast buffet, though the poolside bar and grill is just so so with terrible service. Highly recommend for the location and the rooms, go elsewhere for meals.

A wonderful stay until the last night. Staff, food, amenities all 10 out of ten. So happy until the last night when my wife spotted a mouse in the room. We tried ringing reception at 10.30 pm multiple times with no answer. We then stayed still on the bed and then the mouse came out again and we filmed it. We tried ringing again, with stillness answer. My wife slept poorly but in the morning we paid the bill first rather than looking like someone looking for a discount. Then we complained and they asked for the video, and we duly sent it. We had a flight to catch but the man on reception who checked us out promised us the manager would be in touch. To this day over a month later, nothing. We didn't review prior hoping they would respond with at least an apology and explanation, but nothing. So what was going to be a perfect rating has been downgraded. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel with their reputation for service, just sad.
