Staying at PARKROYAL Penang Resort was an absolute treat! I hadn’t been here in over a decade, but my recent visit was nothing short of perfect. The ambience is stunning, blending luxury and comfort seamlessly. The staff? Top-notch—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The location is unbeatable with direct beach access, giving you gorgeous views and easy seaside strolls. I love that convenience shops, restaurants, and laundry services are just a few minutes' walk away—it makes everything so easy! The hotel feels like a slice of paradise, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Whether you're enjoying the facilities or soaking in the beach vibes, everything is thoughtfully designed to make your stay memorable. It’s hands down the best hotel in Malaysia for me, and I can’t wait to return again. If you’re looking for the ultimate getaway, this place is worth every penny. Five stars all the way!

We spent an amazing 5 days at this beautiful hotel! The rooms were amazing with a beautiful sea view to wake up to every morning. The room was spacious, clean and was definitely 5* standard. We opted for the breakfast which was an amazing buffet with various different options including an egg station, salad station and fresh pastries, breads, gorgeous local honey. However the best part of the hotel has to be the staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the cleaners to the front desk staff, always happy and smiling and willing to help. We hope to be back soon!

The Park Royal Hotel in Penang is an impressive, family-friendly resort that consistently delivers a luxurious and enjoyable experience. I’ve visited Batu Ferringhi several times and stayed at a variety of hotels, yet each time I find myself comparing them to Park Royal. This hotel truly stands out, and even though I came back here after 25 years, it still feels as charming and welcoming as ever. For families, there are a host of activities to keep the kids entertained, and the atmosphere is perfect for all ages. If you’re looking for a romantic evening, the resort offers several cozy, intimate restaurants that are ideal for couples to spend quality time together. The rooms are exceptionally clean and quiet, providing a peaceful escape with breathtaking views of the beach. There’s something about staying here that makes you fall in love with the seaside all over again. However, due to its family-oriented environment, you’ll find areas like the swimming pool and breakfast zone to be lively and bustling with kids and families. This lively atmosphere is part of the charm, although it may not appeal to those seeking complete isolation. Additionally, the resort has a few convenient shops, which came in handy when I needed to pick up some items I’d forgotten. The only slight downside was the breakfast. While it was satisfactory, I feel there’s room for improvement in the menu variety and quality. However, aside from that, everything else about the Park Royal Hotel was truly fantastic. This is a wonderful resort that offers something special for everyone and keeps me coming back!

Rooms 5/5 Service 5/5 Breakfast 4/5 The check-in process was seamless. Although, we had some hiccups with the booking (placed a booking from 3rd party platform). I had made a booking but then was cancelled, and then placed another booking. Upon checked in, we were given the room that I had initially cancelled. Went down to enquire with the staff, issue was resolved within 15 minutes and we were given a room upgrade. Service from all staff were top notch. The place is suitable for families with small kids. Next to the resort is the beach, but a bit hard to find good cheap food. Even those in the night market is considered quite pricey. The rooms were tidy, exclusive, loved the bed and the blanket! It was breezy all day and night long. It was a great place to end our year. Enjoyed every moment of it. Will definitely come again!

Best resort ever! The hotel ambience is lovely. I feel being welcomed everywhere. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. Food quality is superb but variety can be better. It was a pity that during my stay there is construction at the beach. Only a small stretch of beach is open while you need to bear with the excavators nearby. Alternatively you can walk further down to use the beach at Golden Sand hotel.

A wonderful stay until the last night. Staff, food, amenities all 10 out of ten. So happy until the last night when my wife spotted a mouse in the room. We tried ringing reception at 10.30 pm multiple times with no answer. We then stayed still on the bed and then the mouse came out again and we filmed it. We tried ringing again, with stillness answer. My wife slept poorly but in the morning we paid the bill first rather than looking like someone looking for a discount. Then we complained and they asked for the video, and we duly sent it. We had a flight to catch but the man on reception who checked us out promised us the manager would be in touch. To this day over a month later, nothing. We didn't review prior hoping they would respond with at least an apology and explanation, but nothing. So what was going to be a perfect rating has been downgraded. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel with their reputation for service, just sad.

I was particularly impressed with all the friendly staff here. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Especially Sunny, Zainal and Michelle. Their fast responds are superb. The room were immaculate and very comfortable. Thank you once again to the wonderful arrangement for my unforgettable birthday by Sunny and Michelle. We definitely will visit again soon.

An amazing hotel with amazing staff. Rooms are excellent with every little extra that you may care to need during your stay. The quality of food was superb. Hard to find fault - only little niggle (personal, not general) is that they do not take cash at all. Overall a great stay and would certainly come again!

You just need to go. It will be the best experience you have ever had in a hotel resort. If you like the idea of being treated like royalty and a family loving way then this is the place to book. Make sure that you book the Rasa wing to have the extras and enjoy the cocktail hour it is brilliant. The room attendants will really look after you nothing is a problem just make a booking you will love it
