Fantastic stay from start to finish! We stayed in the sea view king room, very nice and spacious room with a pretty view. Kept clean every day, with some welcome fruits and snacks. Very good first impression with a beautiful lobby. Front desk staff were extremely welcoming (special shout out to Selina!) Private area, very secure, right by the beach but it is a public beach. Nevertheless nice and clean. Pool seems small but despite a fully booked hotel, I did not feel like it was. All the staff are super kind and nice, quick to assist. Solid restaurants on site, nothing mind blowing but the portions are crazy. Would recommend, and would come again.

Amazing! Not a single fault. Incredibly helpful, friendly and hard-working staff at the resort. Amazing location, food with everything close by. Clean beautiful rooms. We have had the most incredible time with this being our first stop in Malaysia. Our 13 year old loved it. Thank you

Fantastic Stay at PARKROYAL Penang Resort We had an amazing experience at PARKROYAL Penang Resort during our family trip from December 19 to 22. Our room on level 4 was incredibly spacious, featuring a super king bed that could comfortably accommodate four people. The staff were exceptionally caring and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious food and drinks to suit all tastes. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and great food. We will definitely return!

I had an amazing stay at hotel.. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. My room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.. Not forget chromecast too!! The hotel’s amenities, including gym, swimming pool, were top-notch, and the dining experience was exceptional. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and quality!

Horrible Experience – Absolutely NOT a Premium Hotel! We arrived at Park Royal after a long and exhausting journey with our small children, only to be utterly disappointed by the room we were given. This is NOT what a premium-class hotel should look like! The room is incredibly dark, more like a prison cell or a dungeon than a proper hotel room. It is nothing like the bright and inviting space shown in the pictures – a complete misrepresentation! We had booked a room with an extra-large bed, but what we got was just a standard small double bed—even the bed in our home is bigger than this! On top of that, our reservation clearly stated two adults and two children, yet the hotel didn’t even bother to prepare bedding for our child who was supposed to sleep on the sofa. We had to go down and ask for it ourselves! When I went to the front desk to complain about the pathetic room quality and the horrible lighting, I was simply told that the hotel was fully booked—end of discussion. No attempt to fix the issue, no customer service, nothing. To make things worse, there are not enough sun loungers by the pool, making it impossible for most guests to find a spot. The overall experience has been absolutely ruined, and I deeply regret booking this hotel. This is NOT a premium hotel—it’s a mid-range budget hotel at best! The level of service and room quality are completely unacceptable for what they claim to be. I would never have booked this place had I known what we would get, and I strongly warn others to stay away!

We loved staying at this hotel. We received a beautiful welcome on arrival, the staff were genuine and attentive. The rooms are spacious with a balcony. The slippers are luxurious! The breakfast buffet was wonderful, and special requests were welcomed. I loved the option of either sitting outside or by the pool area. The pool area was very relaxing with an abundance of sun lounges and different areas to relax. If you choose to go into Georgetown there is a local bus or a shuttle bus wind are both easily accessible. We also loved the communal room with the pool table. I would highly rate this hotel, we stayed as a couple with 2 children aged 9 and 12 and they both loved it. In the evenings we ate at the local Hawkers market and for any vegetarians like myself there are plenty of vegan/vegetarian cafes serving Western food should you want to take a break from the local food.

Best resort ever! The hotel ambience is lovely. I feel being welcomed everywhere. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. Food quality is superb but variety can be better. It was a pity that during my stay there is construction at the beach. Only a small stretch of beach is open while you need to bear with the excavators nearby. Alternatively you can walk further down to use the beach at Golden Sand hotel.

Fabulous hotel, service is above and beyond. The Rasa upgrade is well worth it! Superb afternoon tea and an hour later, cocktails and canapes (more than enough for a full meal really!) staff are very friendly and efficient.

5star hotel but a bit racist (or not very welcoming) to local guests. Room and location is okay. Very quiet and privacy. The beach also very privacy. Wide morning breakfast selection. A lot of foreign tourists here, you can barely see local guests. Maybe that’s why when your staff see local guests, they need to check is it the people truly hotel guests? After our morning breakfast, we took morning walk at the beach garden and the security suddenly asked “May I know what room number?” “Oh, 1xxx”. “Sorry, I thought outsiders coming from that end”. Really? Okay then. When we check-in or check-out, I personally felt no welcoming at all. no staff even checked on us the local guests (offer to take bags etc) - all only care about other group of foreign guest. I went to other 4stars hotel, they did better than this.

One of the best resort in Penang! The service is awesome! Food is quite good, impressive view, most of all friendly and comfortable atmosphere for someone that needed some rest from all the stress and responsibilities
