Had a two night stay there. The rooms were crisp, clean and fresh. Service was really top notch and loved every bit of it, hospitality I would say is 10/10. The international breakfast buffet is amazing with so much choices. Freshly blended fruit juice and most surprisingly ice cream in the morning! My only issue is the room not having a bath tub cause we stayed in the least costly one. Other than that the place is perfect!

The Ocean Wing is very luxurious and exclusive! If you go during non-season it feels like a paradise that you cannot see many other guests. All the experiences are very nicely managed (e.g. horse riding, Gazebo candle-light dinner, etc.). You can simply enjoy a luxurious vacation with a fairly affordable price when compared to other holiday destinations.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would like to thank Alice, Clifford and Pechy for looking after us and making our stay so special. The food was exceptional. Lots of choice and very tasty. Beautiful pool area and easy access to the beach. The rooms are in need of a freshen-up but when your hotel and location are so beautiful, you don't spend much time in the rooms.

Top notch service, hotel staff actually care about the comfort of the guests. Breakfast was amazing, there’s something for everyone. Room was spacious and comfy. Though, our room didn’t come with a bathtub. Seaview, nice sunset. Overall good experience, will come back.

Absolutely stunning property, clean beach and hospitable staff. Loved our short vacation. Christmas decor was beautiful and kids loved the lights and enchanted forest walk, horse ride etc.

Beautiful resort on Tanjung Aru. Really nice resort style. Rooms may be a bit dated but comfortable. We stayed in the sea facing suite and it was impeccable. Front desk is responsive and resolves issues quickly and efficiently. Really thumbs up - one of the best service I have ever gotten. Ground facilities are plentiful and well updated and maintained. The charm of the place is in its people - staff are all well motivated and helpful. Really pleasant stay overall. Not to miss is the sunset view - no wonder people flock here just for it.

An aged hotel but well maintained. Although its not located near the city area, it is nestled within a quaint and cozy area by the Tg Aru Beach. The huge compound boast plenty of activities such as private beach, outdoor games, games room, water playground, movie theatre, multiple pools or lagoon swimming and a mini golf course. Everyday you have an opportunity to view the beautiful setting of the sun. They have their own pier and dive centre, which allow water sports and island hoping activities. Their rooms are spacious with modern amenities and design. Morning breakfast had a smorgasbord of intercontinental and local selections. Plenty of live food station will keep you coming back for more. Service staff were always cheerful and motivated to please. Although there are little attractions nearby, it is located 10mins from Airport and new city area

One of the best stay ever. What i can say the hotel provide world class hospitality during my stay. For sure gonna come back again in the future. The hotel is family friendly. The pool area is good. Then the kids room and recreational area is the best for my kids.

Had an amazing holiday at the Shangri-la Tanjung Aru at Kota Kinabalu. The staff were friendly, attentive, polite and each one was out to please the guest. My son has certain food allergies. The staff took special care to ensure that food prepared for him did not contain the allergens. We used the swimming pool, tennis courts, played golf, exercised at the gymnasium, went on a jet ski and did para sailing. The view from the room was heavenly. A perfect place to spend a holiday with the family.
