Great value for money family resort. First time staying at the resort as a young family and we would definitely return. We were initially cautious about staying at this resort as it isn't a fancy expensive resort but it also isn't a cheap budget resort. It is in the middle. Keeping this is mind, we accept the 'traditional' rooms are old and dated. Tip: stay in the 'modern' rooms as they are renovated. Positives: Hotel made a special touch to our room for our wedding anniversary. See pictures. The traditional rooms are big and spacious. Extra king size bed was massive and comfortable. Free YouTube for the kids was a nice touch too. The view of the pool from the balcony was also nice. Friday night they have a BBQ meat buffet night. Definitely worth trying out. Great range of meats, Thai food, Western food and desserts. Breakfast buffet is also awesome with a big range of all kinds of dishes. Swimming pool is really nice too. Resort is ideally located walking distance to the beach (7 minute walk), shops, restaurants, street hawkers, laundry - pretty much everything. There is also a free one-way shuttle to the beach if you want. Negatives Shower was dirty with lots of mould and dated. However, we gave the housekeeper 100 baht ($4 Australian dollars) and she deep cleaned and removed all the mould as opposed to a general clean. Sparkly clean and fresh. The room had a damp smell due to humidity. We left the balcony and room door open when we where in the room which helped. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

For a 3 star's hotel the quality is to high! The staff is very friendly and also breakfast is really good, I don't know about lunch and dinner because we decided to going and trying a different restaurant every day. But if I will come back to phuket definitely this is the hotel where I want to stay. For the moment I am still here and enjoying my holiday!

Staff are wonderful, room was nice but basic. Cleaned daily, fresh towels and water daily. Pools are lovely but no handrails for easy access. Lovely place but not suitable for mobile disability. Lots of steps and steep ramps with no handrails. Breakfast was very average, same every day. Gardens lovely. Shuttle bus only one way to Kata beach, about a 15 minute walk back, lots of markets and restaurants on the way. Highly recommend the Italian restaurant, turn left at top of driveway and just down a bit. Very safe to walk around alone.

Excellent hotel in a very good location. Great proximity to beach,night life,markets,7eleven. Breakfast buffet could be better in terms of variety ,no cheese or cold cuts,also no pastries. Bathroom in room is quite old and dated but other than these minor things the hotel is fantastic. Staff are very accommodating and super 👌 👍 friendly. Loved our stay 1000%.

AVOID , not worth the money spend , we paid for buffet breakfast and the food was either not cooked fully or burnt. They promised a refund and advised that they will refund me on booking.com , yet when I returned back to my country , they now acting dumb about it. Spoke to the manager Bird , who definitely has a brain like a bird. Terrible services NOT 3 Star. Rather book in Sunset Beach Resort

Exceeded my expectations! Value for Money! Great breakfast, super clean rooms and superb shower! Room was facing the road but I can barely hear any road noise! All staff are nice, lobby has a drink dispenser for guests and lastly location is perfect whether you want to go Rawai or Bang Tao direction.

We stayed here for 5 nights of out holiday around Thailand. Location is perfect for what we needed. The pools were amazing, we spent most evenings just soaking in them once back from our fun filled days out. The room was absolutely perfect as we had an interlinked veranda with our friends in the next room, very nice touch. I can't comment on the food as we ate out around the corner in the Italian restaurant and got out pastry breakfast from the seven eleven down the street. The staff were very polite and helpful in our stay and always welcomed us with happy faces. We will definitely be staying here again that's for sure.

I had an amazing stay at **Best Western Phuket Ocean Resort** and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Phuket. The hotel offers a perfect combination of comfort, excellent service, and a delightful atmosphere. A special shoutout goes to the staff, especially Eaint, Robert, and Su, who truly made our stay unforgettable. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with warm smiles. Their dedication and kindness made us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach with beautiful surroundings. The pool areas were well-maintained and provided a relaxing space to unwind. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. I honestly cannot find a single faultm, my experience was outstanding from start to finish. Thank you to Best Western Phuket Ocean Resort and especially to Eaint, Robert, and Su for such a wonderful stay!

This hotel is perfectly placed in a spot where closely anything you'd need as a tourist is within walking distance. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. The breakfast is AMAZING. There are 4 pools: 1 kiddies and 3 adult pools). There is an ironing room for free use, a washing machine and dryer for a fee. There's a 7 eleven practically at your door. There's a big waiting area if you have an early check in or check out due to your flight time. There's a fitness room which has 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, lots of barbells and dumbells and a basic weight equipment to train whilst on holiday. Your room is kept everyday. There's lotion, handwash, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner available. There aren't many TV channel options though, no netflix or amazon prime or YT. There is a safe as well for your valuable items. Your storage space comes with extra pillows and an umbrella and hangers. You get bottled water everyday, facial tissues. Your towels are changed as often as you require. You have a ticket for a beach/pool towel as well. This place is just the perfect spot for accommodation. The room is spacious, each room has a balcony. Theres a bar and a hotel restaurant as well.

For the off-season price, an amazing value. Rooms are a good size, you get a big balcony with a view, the breakfast buffet is good enough for only 300 baht, location is good, the service and room cleaning is good, and there’s two pools. There’s a ton of stairs, which I actually count as an upside, because I like to get my steps in. But some people may not like that. The gym is okay for an upper body workout only, and the barbell weights are non-Olympic, weird sizes, and come loose while you’re using them due to having standard thread screwing end-caps. Two downsides: The pools are over-chlorinated, which affected my ability to swim laps, and it’s an ongoing constant thing, not just a “they over chlorinated one day” thing. One of the 8 days we stayed, a bunch of winged ants or skinny moths came up through one of the bathroom drains, and were all over the bathroom. It wasn’t a big deal, we just made sure to keep the door closed so they didn’t get in the room. Overall, I’d stay again. Nice enough, good enough, and a great price.

The best hotel with the best views. Staff are amazing, food is delicious, the hotel is very high on cleanliness, and it's straight across from the beach. Everything you need and want from a hotel and you are at the quiet end but 10 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle and 711 store is 2mins walk from hotel and the do fabulous toasties.

Honestly, one of my favourite hotels I've stayed at. From check-in to check-out, everything was good. Breakfast was nice with a spread of dishes from Thai to western. The coffee was really really good. Dedicated person to making fresh eggs the way you like it. With 2 pools at the front, one overlooking the ocean and another that is away from the public eye. Both are suitable for kids too. The accessibility to reach any part of Patong or Phuket is great with pick up station right outside of the hotel door. Grab costs around 50 baht to Jungcylon shopping mall (for an idea - time dependant) For activities, there is a tour and activity company inside at reception who will gladly assist you in making your stay in Patong amazing. Let's get to the room - it has everything you need + a great view. Spacious, air-conditioned, mini fridge that actually works, and the cleaning service staff was exceptional. Overall, would highly recommend Seaview Patong to anyone who wants to be in the busy area of Patong but removed enough to have a quiet night.

1. The rooms were quite run down. The windows, doors were creaking. I booked very early in March. But they did not give me balcony and we cannot even see the beach. 2. I had rooms with different problems. Leaking water from roof, kids slipped and fell. Lights did not function. Air-conditioning were not working properly. The flushing system was not good as well. The place not well-maintained at all. 3. We had coffee and they didn’t not refill the coffee sachets. No hotel slippers. 4. When I wrote in to confirm my bookings as I booked for 17 rooms. Replied came very slow and till the end, no reply as I add on a last room. 5. They did not tell us that security deposit is in cash, and because we had so many rooms, our security deposit were quite substantial. We did not set aside the amount. If they had informed me, when they email return reply to me, we would have set aside and not start digging out the cash on spot. The only thing that was commendable was the breakfast. It was good and had a variety. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

They had upgraded our room booking without any extra charges. The room was quite spacious & had a nice balcony. From the room itself you can have a nice view of the sea!!! Breakfast spread was quite good & of real good taste! The best part of this hotel is its location & it's a little bit far from the noisy Patong beach area.... highly recommended.

We spent four nights here as a family and loved every moment. The rooms offered breathtaking views of the Bay and mountains. The hotel had two swimming pools, including a rooftop one with stunning views, and access to a private beach on the other side of the peninsula. The food was delicious, the hotel spotless despite its age, and the staff was fantastic. We’d highly recommended!

Great hotel with rooftop pool in this tranquile Cape Panwa. Good breakfast and especially the omelett spot, greetings to the Cook who made perfect scrambled eggs ☺️ Several restaurants nearby, and we could visit the the private beach in the sister hotel site. And special thanks to the hotel reception manager who dealed with our case of my wife’s purse left out to the taxi after we arrived to the hotel. He was so helpful and calming that everything will sort out. And as a result, the purse was found, what a relief!

Nice hotel, great quiet location, but still close to the center of Phuket town. Service was ok, but could be better. Staff sometimes seemed to have a attitude towards us, for some apparent reason. Tour-booking via the hotel is not the best, we ended up waiting 2 hours in the lobby on the day of the tour, because they gave us the wrong information, and honestly seemed more confused than ourselves. Rooms are nice but not AT ALL sound proofed. Breakfast was great

We stayed here for a night, and honestly, the only thing we regret was not staying here longer. The rooms were the best we have stayed in, fantastic interiors all the way down to the towel hooks, top-notch breakfast and service. The staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Highly highly recommended.

Room could do with a touch of modernising but staff and service were excellent, breakfast was amazing, loads to choose from and staff couldn't do enough, we were made to feel so welcome, would come back definitely, the free shuttle bus between all of the hotels was a lovely tough and ran all day

Stayed here as a family of 4 with two kids. Excellent location to the beach and nearby restaurants. Staff very polite, courteous and always helpful. We stayed in a room with a sea view which was beautiful. Only downside is the number of steps to reach the room. However this did not ruin our stay but just something to be mindful about when booking. We absolutely loved our stay here.

The best part about this hotel is definitely the 2 swimming pools absolutely massive and very beautiful. The hotel rooms themselves are good but not outstanding. Stayed for 8 nights. Really nice feel to the hotel via the staff very much sincerely keen to help and assist whenever possible. It’s on a steep hill so the higher up you are, the more likely you have to navigate a couple of lifts. Modern enough for price point and very convenient to the beach and other well situated bars/restaurants. Pools are good and we found the kids club (and attendant) very handy. I gave feedback around the room being a bit hot first thing in the morning but that could just be my own lack of acclimatisation. I also suggested a little fix up and books etc for that space. Pools are good and the food is about the same quality as other places nearby. Also worth mentioning, great sound proofing.

Chanalai Garden Resort was grand, both in aesthetic and in size. From the hotel entrance to our rooms, my friends and I had to walk quite a distance and take three elevators. While other guests might have an issue with this, I welcomed the stroll. Our rooms were spacious enough and had a balcony with a good view of the beach. The swimming pool was a good place to swim and relax. The service was great all around. During our arrival, my friends and I had welcome fruit tea and ice cream and both were delicious and refreshing. The receptionists, pool bar server, and housekeeping personnel were all very warm and hospitable. The location was very convenient. The beach was just across the road from the hotel. Many restaurants and a night market were within walking distance from the hotel as well.

The hotel surprised us on so many levels. First, we've got a free upgrade for our Babymoon to a magical room with unbelievable ocean views. Second, all staff genuinely looked like they enjoy being there and working there. I've completed two feedback forms during our stay which were handed to me by staff. Obviously they really care about guest satisfaction. Third, the hotel is really well maintained. There is maintenance going on all the time, we had brand new umbrellas and sun beds. Lastly, the breakfast was amazing. So many options you would never tire of those. If I was nit picking, I'd suggest the room cleaning to be done earlier in the day (not around 3-4pm) and to give guests their water automatically every day, regardless whether they want their room cleaned or not. Would definitely be back
