Been to this hotel twice now with my grandson July 2023 and just now December 2024. Absolute great effort made by all the entertainment staff full of enthusiasm and energy. Great family holiday and for a great experience I do recommend getting involved in the games and entertainment it’s great fun and laughter. They do cater for the quieter seen in the adults only part of the hotel. But hey who wants to be an adult when on holiday 🤣 The rooms are spacious and kept clean everyday, the buffet style dinning is your standard stuff! Not great but not bad either!

We had a lovely 10 night stay at the Abora over Christmas. We stayed in block 5 and it was perfectly located for the restaurant and pool areas. The entertainment team were fantastic and the shows they put on in the evenings were fab to watch. Massive thanks to Luca and Jess in particular who were so friendly and gave our boys lots of time and attention. The food was good and we were travelling with two intolerances so we were given a red card to show at the restaurant and the chef would take us round to show what we could and couldn't have. They even made special dairy free pancakes for our son each day so that he could still have fun holiday breakfasts. The receptionists work really hard but there definitely needs to be more on the desks when it's arrival and departure times which seemed to be constant throughout the day, there were long queues to be seen but that's no fault of the reception team as they worked as quickly as possible. Thanks for a lovely stay and fabulous Christmas.

First off don’t listen to the bad reviews. This place is amazing. The rooms are bright we had a lovely view of the ocean line and the palms trees leading to the pool. We were all inclusive and i would say it’s worth regarding the drinks bar but personally the food was not it. It was mediocre and repetitive. But there it’s a self serve food bar and that it quiet nice. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The best part of our holiday had to be the animation team they put on shows every night and hosted the kids club they also were in in the morning doing activities for kids and adults they are absolutely brilliant so welcoming and warming always having the craic. Location is very secluded but taxi are always available and cheap. Would recommend solely on the animation team themselves!

We have just enjoyed 10 amazing nights at the Abora as a family with 2 children. Everything was fantastic - the room, the pools, the restaurant, the entertainment. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the good vibes and music throughout the day and evening. We can't wait to come back with our friends! Thank you for a brilliant holiday 😊 We do not agree with negative reviews we have seen, some people just like to find problems with anything! Yes, there could be more shade (maybe some parasols?), but there are trees that provide shade so you can easily move your sunbed if you need to. We managed to find spots that could shade our youngest but still allow me to sunbathe.

The rooms exceeded our expectations (large and comfortable) and the stay was good value for money. It was good for children as there are two parks, a kids pool and water park. There was only one main bar, often with long queues. The food was generally good although cold - luckily we found a microwave! The in-between meals snacks were disappointing. We enjoyed the free shuttle to the town. The weather in November was perfect.
