Our family had the pleasure of staying at Alexandros Palace this summer, and I can confidently say it’s a wonderful place where you can truly relax and enjoy genuine Greek hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious, tastefully decorated rooms that were immaculately clean and offered the most beautiful views. The grounds of the hotel are exceptionally well-maintained, featuring a great beach and expansive areas for lounging. The staff were a highlight of our stay—helpful, polite, capable, and professional. Their dedication and attention to detail ensured that our experience was both comfortable and pleasant. This resort is perfect for families with children, boasting a fantastic splash park with water slides, multiple pools, and fun entertainment options like a mini disco and playground. The kids had an absolute blast! Speaking of fun, the dining experience was a highlight as well. Breakfast and dinner were nothing short of perfection, with a huge selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and delicious Mediterranean dishes that tasted just like homemade meals. The kids' menu was also impressive, ensuring that everyone in the family was well-fed and happy. In conclusion, our stay at Alexandros Palace was an absolutely amazing experience, and we can't wait to be back next summer! !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alexandros Palace Hotel for the third time, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations. This hotel has truly become my favorite destination, and I cannot wait to visit again in the future. The staff at Alexandros Palace Hotel are incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Miss Thalia Sidiropoulou for her exceptional service and warm hospitality. The food at the hotel is absolutely delightful, offering a wide variety of delicious options that cater to every taste. The serene environment, private beach, and pool create the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, suitable for all members of the family. Overall, Alexandros Palace Hotel has become my go-to place for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch experience with outstanding service and amenities.

My wife and I first visited this hotel on our pre-wedding trip exactly 20 years ago. We remembered it as a beautiful, luxurious, and tranquil place where one could truly relax and enjoy Greek hospitality. Out of nostalgia, we decided to return with our two sons, now aged 19 and 16. I’ll start with the positives. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and have everything you need. Parking is ample. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help, especially the team at the beach bar. The grounds are well-maintained, and the beach is nice. The beach is a bit of a walk from our rooms in the back part of the hotel, about 500 meters or 8 minutes, but it’s a pleasant walk that does no harm. Now, for the less positive aspects, which aren’t exactly faults of the hotel, but rather matters of preference. Before I continue, I should note that I’m Balkan—Greek, living abroad for the last 34 years. This hotel is perfect for families with children, particularly those wild Balkan kids with no boundaries. There are plenty of pools for children, water slides, playgrounds, and playrooms—a mini Greek Disneyland. During our stay, the hotel was about 80% occupied by Serbs, along with Macedonians, Romanians, Greeks, a few Germans, one wonderful Danish couple, and perhaps a few French and Slovak guests, but they were a minority. The majority was Balkan, and let’s be honest—Balkan children are more like little animals with no restraints. The shock we experienced on our first night at dinner was overwhelming. We arrived late by car and went to dinner around 9:00 p.m. The dining hall was packed, barely passable, with dozens of screaming kids running around, playing, chasing each other, and utterly indifferent parents focused mostly on grabbing more from the buffet. The staff had absolutely no chance of maintaining order, despite their best efforts. At the entrance to the restaurant, a wonderful lady patiently tried to explain the dress code to everyone—long pants are required, shorts are tolerated in the heat, and closed shoes are a must. Yet, most people showed up dressed as if they were heading to the beach, and she couldn’t do much to change that. Many guests didn’t even bother to report their room numbers and simply walked past her with that typical Balkan arrogance, ignoring her attempts to ask for their room numbers. If you want some peace, you need to be at the pool by 7:00 a.m., at breakfast by 7:30 a.m., and at dinner right when the restaurant opens at 7:00 p.m. Any later, and by 8:00 p.m., the place turns into a Balkan zoo, where dinner becomes a survival challenge. Honestly, I have to say that even animals in the wild show more consideration toward each other than the mix of guests at this hotel. If we had experienced this 20 years ago, we might not have had children at all😁 This hotel could easily serve as a form of contraception for young couples. One evening, we quickly finished dinner and headed to the lovely hotel bar with great service and excellent cocktails. It was empty, and we were happy to finally find some peace. But it didn’t last long. Gradually, Serbian families with their children started arriving, even with newborns. Seeing someone come to a bar at 10:00 p.m. holding a baby in one hand and a cigarette in the other while the child cries out of exhaustion as if being murdered is the height of inconsideration toward others. At the very least, the hotel should reserve the bar area for adults only. Within moments, even this place turned into a playground, with kids playing hide-and-seek under the feet of the wonderful waitstaff at 11:00 p.m. There are times when one must be ashamed of being Balkan too. In summary, it’s a very nice complex with a beautiful beach, but not a place where you can truly enjoy tranquility. It’s an ideal spot for children, but for us active forty-somethings looking for some relaxation and quiet, it’s far from ideal. It’s a tough review because, for certain groups of people, this place could be heaven on earth.

It says that the hotel has 5 stars, but that hotel is not even for 3 stars. The hotel is terribly neglected, and if you look closely, it's not even a hotel, but a settlement in the hill. ROOMS: The rooms need renovation. In the semi-luxury apartment, the air conditioner is leaking, the telephone is not working, the door is creaking, the door is worn out... FOOD: The food is better in the student canteen. For example, the fish is DEFROSTED and tastes terrible... For the price they offer (and it's not cheap, 4000 euros half board for 14 nights), the food should be much better. STAFF: Very capable and professional. MANAGEMENT: I have never seen greater amateurism. For every 100 beds, they have one man who works and serves. Nobody comes for you, you come for the waiter. The same applies to an Albanian who works as a technician for 800 buildings, buggies and all other jobs. BEACH: The sand is too dirty, the sunbeds are falling apart, the fast food is overpriced. Not recommended 👎

We have stayed at Alexandros Hotel for a week. The hotel is filled with Eastern European guests who behave as if they are completely indifferent to other guests. Their children are noisy and lack manners, which has made our stay quite unpleasant. The rooms are of a reasonable standard, but the beds are very hard, leading to poor sleep quality. On the positive side, the rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are provided. The staff are very helpful and friendly, which is a significant plus. However, the food is very monotonous with little variation from day to day. The all-inclusive concept is quite strange and only works in some of the hotel's bars, which is rather inconvenient. Overall, our stay at Alexandros Hotel has been disappointing due to the noisy atmosphere and the lack of variety in the food.
