While the hotel's infrastructure and rooms was impressive, the service left much to be desired. I was quite disappointed by the concierge staff, who persistently pushed us to book tours and taxi services. It was uncomfortable to feel pressured throughout the day. Additionally, their comments about our luggage and purchases, along with frequent suggestions to use a "friend's taxi," felt unprofessional. Instead of enjoying a relaxing stay, it sometimes felt like we were in a place where everyone was trying to make extra money on the side. Our sense of privacy was often compromised, with staff approaching us each time we moved in and out of our room. It was not the experience we had hoped for.

Another wonderful resort by Anantara!
The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful.
It's only a short walk to the heart of the old town, making this a fantastic location to base ourselves for exploring this historic town.
Definitely make use of their bicycles to cycle around the old town.
Highly recommended!

Loved the rooms, service, locations.
Room is clean and spacious, bed is comfortable and able to sleep well.
Wonderful staff, always helping their guest. Location is perfect, near to eateries, cafe, spa and more shops. Very near old town, short cycle which the hotel provide complimentary use for guest.
The food in the restaurant is amazing!!!
Definitely will recommend Anantara!
Thank you for the wonderful stay!!!

We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Anantara Hoi An, a true boutique gem. First and foremost, the setting is breathtaking—truly idyllic, offering an ambiance that makes you feel instantly at ease. The décor and overall design are incredibly tasteful, combining charm with an understated chic elegance.
What stood out the most was the staff. I’ve rarely encountered such warm and welcoming service. Every single person we interacted with was kind, cheerful, and attentive. Even in top-tier hotels, this level of hospitality is a rarity—and I’ve traveled extensively.
The dining experience was also remarkable. The restaurants are all delicious, and the buffet, whether for dinner or breakfast, was outstanding. The presentation, the variety, and the quality were all top-notch. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try the spa, but it’s certainly on my list for the next visit.
Additionally, the location of the hotel is perfect. It’s in a very calm and serene area, yet conveniently close to the old town of Hoi An.
Overall, Anantara Hoi An is a stunning hotel that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An. It’s an exceptional place where every detail has been carefully curated to ensure a memorable stay.

Second time staying here after about 15 years and it is still excellent.
All of the staff are lovely, helpful and genuinely want you to enjoy being here.
The rooms are the same as 15 years ago, but we'll looked after with new fittings and kept spotless. Great a/c which is important in Hoi An at this time of year.
The location on the edge of the old town is perfect - 8 minute walk into the very busy town, but peaceful in the hotel grounds. The pool is also great with no shortage of beds or space.
Would definitely return.
