Our stay at Barceló Mussanah Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality, and the serene coastal setting made it the perfect getaway. A special mention goes to Abdul Rehman at the reception, who truly elevated our experience. From check-in to departure, he was incredibly professional, courteous, and attentive to every detail. He ensured our room preferences were met and went above and beyond to accommodate any requests with a smile. His genuine hospitality set the tone for the rest of our stay and made us feel truly valued as guests. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with stunning views of the marina and easy access to the beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The dining options were varied and delicious, and the pool area was a great place to relax and unwind. Thanks to the wonderful team — especially Abdul Rehman — our time at Barceló Mussanah was memorable and relaxing. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Oman, and we look forward to returning in the future.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently stayed at Barceló Hotel Al Masanah for two nights while attending a course for my company, and everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the Guest Relationship Manager, Kasandra, was especially kind and attentive — she made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The food was delicious, the view was beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and cozy. It’s very quiet at night, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The gym was also impressive — spacious and fully equipped with everything you need for a good workout. Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had — highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at Barceló Mussanah Resort. The property offers a beautiful ambiance with stunning views and a refreshing fragrance throughout. The amenities are excellent - including the pool, water park, and various recreational games - which made our stay very enjoyable. The food has great variety and taste, and the overall dining experience was satisfying. However, as vegetarians, we found that the vegetarian food options were quite limited. Expanding the vegetarian selection would make the experience even better. Overall, it's a fantastic place for relaxation, fun, and family time. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this resort, and while the overall experience was pleasant, there are a few areas where improvement is definitely needed. Check-in & First Impression: When I arrived, I parked my car near the entrance for check-in, but the security requested me to park it in the parking lot first and then return. It felt a bit inconvenient, especially as I mentioned that I was just there to check in. However, the reception staff were polite and professional, welcoming us with a smile and handling the process smoothly. Room & Cleanliness: The property itself seems quite old but generally well maintained. However, cleanliness inside the room needs attention. There was noticeable dust in the cupboards, especially along the edges, and the refrigerator appeared unused for a long time. It didn’t look or smell clean enough to store food comfortably. In general, when touching the corners or surfaces, dust could easily be seen on fingers. This could definitely be improved to meet the standard expected from a luxury resort. Property & Amenities: The overall property is beautiful, and we enjoyed the amenities — especially the private beach, which was lovely and peaceful. The surroundings and ambiance are great for relaxation. Dining Experience: We had the buffet dinner, which had limited choices but the food was decent in taste. However, I had a small issue during the dinner. I requested one of the waiters to bring some cut fruits from the buffet since I was eating and also attending to my baby, but the waiter refused, saying that it’s a buffet and guests have to take food themselves. I understand the rule, but his tone and attitude were not polite — it felt unnecessarily rigid. To make things worse, while I was away getting food, a cat from outside came to our table and ate some of the leftovers. Considering that, a little assistance from the staff would have been appreciated. The next morning at breakfast, another waiter kindly brought juice for my son without even being asked — maybe because of what happened the previous night — and I appreciated that gesture. It showed that good service and attentiveness are possible. However, I did notice another waiter serving food at a nearby table, and when I asked why he could serve them but not us, he mentioned it was for dietary reasons. Still, the way the previous waiter communicated could have been much more courteous. Overall: The view, ambiance, and beach access were all excellent. Despite a few issues with cleanliness and one instance of poor service attitude, I still enjoyed my stay and believe this resort has a lot of potential if they focus more on hospitality training and room maintenance. Overall, I’m happy with the property and would consider visiting again in the future once these small improvements are made.
