5 positives:
1. Location: right on the beach
2. Giant tortoises on the property
3. Staff friendly
4. Breakfast very good
5. Easy and free parking
3 suggestions:
1. Towels are grey. Replacement would make a huge difference to the ambiance of the rooms.
2. Avoid a room with a family door connecting the next room. One can hear the people next door opening plastic bags and watching TV.
3. Pool should stay open into the evening. Would be so nice to swim after a humid, sandy day.

I had a peaceful stay at this hotel. The rooms are nice and offer amazing views, and the best part is that the beach is just a short walk from the lobby.
The food is decent, though not extraordinary. One thing to note is that the furniture and fixtures in the rooms are starting to look a bit dated.
Overall, it's a good place for a relaxing getaway, especially if you love being close to the beach.

Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay is a grand, well-maintained resort that provides everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. With facilities like a swimming pool, gym, and tennis court, there's plenty to keep you entertained. The highlight of the property is its direct access to the stunning Beau Vallon Beach, offering breathtaking views right from the resort.
The property boasts five restaurants, catering to diverse food preferences, and the dining experience is exceptional. The buffet breakfast is particularly noteworthy, offering a wide variety of delicious options. For adventure enthusiasts, water sports counters are also available.
The rooms are clean, service is prompt, and the staff is polite and welcoming, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
Overall, Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay delivers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and scenic beauty, making it a fantastic choice for a memorable stay in Mahe.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and only a 1 minute walk to the beach. All staff made our trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Mada especially is a great waiter with a memorable smile, who went above and beyond every day. He is someone we wont forget, and we hope to cross paths with him on our next trip to the Seychelles. The lady who cleaned our room was so friendly. The Nepalese head of security, his son and Nixi were extremely helpful for the entirety of our stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning to stay in Beau Vallon!

Such a beautiful property with spacious rooms and fantastic location, marred by average service and terrible food. That is literally the summary of this place.
We stayed here for about 3 nights. During the time we were there, we never saw the Guest Experience Manager.
The first evening we checked in, it took us more than hour to check in. The dinner seafood buffet was practically flavourless - it appeared as if frozen seafood was being used.
The next day breakfast was average too. In evening, we went around the resort to look for another eating place. Sadly we couldn’t find much. That way the location is a little tricky - there is not much outside the resort.
We ended up eating at the Chinese restaurant in the resort. The food was terrible - so much cornflour and so much salt - even the roadside eateries in India will do a better job.
Finally the next day, we started looking for a car to rent. We couldn’t find anything. There was no Guest Experience Manager. We asked some of the staff, but to no avail. Finally, after calling some 60 companies, one agreed, but for the next day. We were travelling at the New Year’s Eve so the car shortage is understandable.
That day evening, there was a gala dinner.l for New Year’s Eve. We were made to sit with other Indian couples, served dal, aloo gobhi and some other Indian dishes. The buffet was flavourless. There were a ton of options, such as beef wellington and local Seychellian dishes. But the beef was dry, and the seychellian food was also tasteless. We had by then had the local food in at least two day tours and it was excellent there. So clearly, it was a kitchen problem.
The next day we enjoyed for sometime at the beach. The beach is beautiful but crowded. However, there are lot of activities to do. After this we checked out, and we were promptly handed over a bill of $400 for the food. We were never given any coupon to avail within the property, for food - the one time we were given one, the Chinese restaurant refused to accept it.
About the staff - I think they have this habit of clubbing all Indians together, which is pretty annoying. They make assumptions about you based on your ethnicity, and that impacts their service. They would serve cold pancakes, over-season our food, and make us sit with other Indians - as if we don’t deserve to talk to other nationalities 🤷🏻♀️
All in all, the experience could have been much better. For such a beautiful property, the food completely ruins the experience. It is quite affordable as compared to others in Seychelles, but they cut corners in service and food, make up for it.
