We have spent a week at the Coral Strand Hotel. I highly recommend! Friendly staff, breakfast is excellent with a great variety to choose from. The position is excellent. Right on the beautiful Beau Vallon beach, close to restaurants and the market. Excellent for families with children.

We went to Coral Strand Smart Choice Hotel in Seychelles for our honeymoon. As we notified the hotel about our honeymoon we recieved a nice bottle of sparkling wine as a gift. Accommodations: We didn't like to be at the ground floor looking at the pool, because of everyone being able to see in our room, so we had to close the curtains and had no natural light, but that was no big deal since we spent most of our time outside. Bed was really large and comfortable. The room we were staying in was really clean and we didn't have to worry about hygiene standards. Room cleaning was done every day (it was very detailed) and we were gifted a bottle of water per person daily. After checking out, we could still use towels for the beach, sunbeds by the beach and pool and we also recieved shower rooms. So we used the last day to its full capacity. Food: We had breakfast included and it was magnificent. There are all kinds of food, from spicy indian food, eggs made in various ways, fried bacon, sussages, cheese, croissants, pancakes, waffles, jams, cookies, fruits (pineapple was amazing). There is a nice option of drinks and a choice is changed daily. Pineapple juice and ice tea are great. Special praise to Shamira who was extremely nice and remembered how we like our coffee on the first day. They have 3 restaurants (indian food, western food and sushi). We didn't try indian but we can say that western food is really decent. Since it is not safe to eat food anywhere in the Seychelles, it meant a lot to us to have the food that has proven well. You can also access all restaurants while it rains without getting wet. Staff: All the staff is really pleasant. They all show respect and they are aware of what their job is. So they made our experience very pleasant. Pool guy named Shakh deserves special praise. He is always there to give you towel, help you move sunbeds and he regularly cleans the pull. Our honeymoon will definitely be a beautiful memory, and a large part of it is due to this hotel and above all to its staff.

Coral Strand is a charming property that truly lives up to its name – a smart choice. I spent 4 days and 3 nights there as a solo traveler, and I felt completely safe while enjoying the property's amenities. The staff were outstanding, and I had the pleasure of getting to know many of them during my daily lunches and dinners at the beach bar. While the rooms are a bit dated, there is ongoing construction around the property, indicating that upgrades are in progress. I highly recommend this property for its convenience, great location, and affordable price. The VB beach is just a few steps away, and the soothing sounds of the ocean can be heard while relaxing in the rooms. Overall, this hotel made my experience in Seychelles truly memorable. Cannot thank hotel enough! Made my birthday trip very memorable. Staff are amazing! Did a surprise birthday celebration during breakfast without us asking them. They just checked date from passport! Amazing. Also decorated the room. We chose honeymoon suite! Amazing views probably the best room they have and it was offered at amazing price! It could do with some modernisation for example the bathroom. But when you are on this amazing island you shouldn’t really spend time in your room! Thank you all for making this a memorable trip.

Our experience at this hotel was disappointing from the moment we arrived. After a 15-hour journey, we sat in the restaurant while waiting for our room so my mother could eat something. She ordered an octopus salad, but after an hour, they brought her a mango (or papaya) salad that she never ordered. When we pointed it out, no one even acknowledged the mistake or tried to fix it. We requested different rooms, but they refused. When we finally entered our room, the key card for the lights didn’t work, so I had to go back to reception. Instead of fixing it properly, the staff member just shoved a wristband into the slot as a makeshift solution. To make matters worse, the room was only partially clean, and there was a noticeable damp smell. Overall, the lack of organization, poor service, and uncomfortable conditions made for a frustrating stay. Would not recommend.
