Our stay here was very memorable and peaceful! The staff is very kind and accommodating, and the hotel itself is beautiful! Love the beach/outdoor area. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards for free. The rooms are clean with very cute accents. Will stay here again.

The hotel is located next to the cruise ship terminal which hosts 6 cruise ships daily and it is facing the construction site on Paradise island. You will hear the construction noise on and off all day. The lobby is beautiful in colonial style. We paid for the best room so our room is nice except the terrible bathroom which is very dated. The shower is very small and water leaks from the shower door to the floor while showering. Our shower head holder is broken so we have to hold the shower head with hand. The faucet is hard to turn on/off. Water pressure is weak. The hotel sells daily pass to non-hotel guests to use the pool, beach and other amenities. Front desk staffer tried to charge us one more day. When we corrected her, she said she remembered the date wrong.

Staying for 10 nights...even though on their website they offer $200 dining credit plus other perks, we were offered nothing. We asked for an ocean view and they said they were fully booked. Okay. Came back later and overheard the reception upgrade another couple to a better room. The couple were so shocked because they didn't even ask, and the lady just smiled at them and said Merry Christmas! The hotel is beautiful and the location is great, however you are right next to docked cruise ships and the smell of pollution is terrible. The "private beach" is tiny. I understand they have many customers, but everyone wants to feel special. For a 10 night stay there was zero warmth and kindness. Very disappointing in the customer service, and we are planning to come back next year. Judging from the other reviews, they do respond and seem to want to make it right. Hopefully someone will reach out. ***Thank you for your response. So will you be honoring the deals you have on your website?

The hotel is beautiful. The heritage of the building shines through. Our room was very nice but there were a few things that could have used some attention -- some doors were sticky and squeaky and the bathroom tile wasn't clean. Also, on the seventh floor, the elevator chime was extremely loud and the staff attending to the meeting space made a lot of early EARLY noise in the morning when setting up for events. The pool area staff as well as the bar and coffee shop staff were generally friendly but we noticed that they were a lot friendlier when WE were friendly first. The email sent by the hotel asked for a review but when I clicked on a "3" it defaulted to a "1" for the most positive score. That's not cool. The pool area and beach are very nice. The service there was just okay. We had to be moved from our room due to a plumbing issue and during the move we had an item "go missing" from the room. The area outside of the hotel wasn't terribly comfortable to walk around as it is part of the urban downtown of Nassau. There was a lot of loud sirens day and night. Door staff and porters were very helpful and polite.

This was my first time in Nassau. It was equal parts. Beautiful! And equal parts poverty. I was expecting both so I'm not disappointed. The people are what made it a nice experience. Everyone who lived there was very nice. I'm sure they all knew that we were from the cruise ship so that is why they were nice, but that should be irrelevant. We had a fantastic time at Cabbage Beach over by Atlantis and the water was absolutely pristine. I was not about to buy any clothes there because while they were super comfortable they were also very expensive. I would absolutely go back and I cannot wait to do so. It was very nice to be able to explore the whole island on our own even though we had to keep a tight schedule because of the time we had to be back on the ship.
