This resort was fabulous beyond our expectations. On it's own it was a fantastic place to stay. As part of the 3-resort complex (British Colonial, One Particular Harbor, and Margaritaville) it was an even better experience, providing access to all the shops and restaurants across all three. People: The staff at this resort are amazing. They were constantly attentive an unfailingly accommodating. The rooms: the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. They even had HBO available on the TVs for those nights you just wanted to stay in and relax. One of my pet peeves is that I hate hotels that don’t provide a room safe. The rooms included one and it was sizeable enough to keep a laptop (a compliance requirement for many people in software or finance). The room even had a mini refrigerator that came in quite handy several evenings. (Note: when you book, get the garden view, you’ll be glad you did). Atmosphere: It was a true resort atmosphere. Everything looked new and clean. From the fire pit by the garden, to the two wonderful pools (as well as access to a 3rd pool next door), the Red Pearl Grille beach bar, and the many included amenities (like paddle boards and other water activities), everything was top notch. Even the cigar lounge outside was beautiful (teakwood, I think) and comfortable. Restaurants: With access to all the restaurants across all three properties there was something for every day (we stayed a week). The food was grand and the staff as accommodating as the rest of the staff throughout the resort. Plus, there was a Sr. Frogs right next door, just outside of the complex (we didn’t eat there, though). The beach: This resort has a world-class beach. It’s small, but large enough to never be crowded, and it’s as nice (nicer, in some cases) as any of the wonderful and beautiful beaches we visited on the island. While not a spot for shell collecting, we did find a few interesting pieces of coral. It was cleaned and immaculately maintained by the amazing staff. One of the most amazing things about the beach was watching the cruise ships dance on the water. A breath-taking spectacle I’ll never forget. The location: This is the perfect place to spend time. On the property, you’re in a quiet, secluded, world-class resort. Step out the front door and you’re minutes away from attractions, shopping, dining, and almost anything you’d want to do. Even the casinos are just a short cab drive away. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the British Colonial to anyone. I do have two notes for management, however: 1) put room-keyed locks on the gates at either side of the property so guests can come back through them to the resort any time of night (rather than having to walk all the way around on the street out front). 2) Add checkout capability to the app (which was fantastic in all other aspects, by the way). Thank you for a wonderful stay. Keep it up.

This was my first time in Nassau. It was equal parts. Beautiful! And equal parts poverty. I was expecting both so I'm not disappointed. The people are what made it a nice experience. Everyone who lived there was very nice. I'm sure they all knew that we were from the cruise ship so that is why they were nice, but that should be irrelevant. We had a fantastic time at Cabbage Beach over by Atlantis and the water was absolutely pristine. I was not about to buy any clothes there because while they were super comfortable they were also very expensive. I would absolutely go back and I cannot wait to do so. It was very nice to be able to explore the whole island on our own even though we had to keep a tight schedule because of the time we had to be back on the ship.

Great place for a day pass if you’re on a cruise! Beautiful pool area with a fantastic menu and courteous service. Beach area with chairs and umbrellas! And there’s towels so no dragging the ship ones with you for the day! Coke products were a perfect bonus for this cruiser!! The quesadillas are excellent! Go… stay for lunch! You won’t regret it!!

The hotel has excellent customer service. It is within walking distance of most tourist places, including the downtown market. The beach is clean, and they offer aquatic sports. Three pools are aligned with the beach, and you can see the cruises leave in the evening. I highly recommend it. The taxi from the airport was 40 dollars. ( August 2024)

Our stay here was very memorable and peaceful! The staff is very kind and accommodating, and the hotel itself is beautiful! Love the beach/outdoor area. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards for free. The rooms are clean with very cute accents. Will stay here again.
