Amazing stay – excellent service and great atmosphere!
I had an incredible stay at this resort and can’t praise it enough. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and had everything I needed – always smiling and ready to assist with anything.
The resort is impeccably maintained, with spotless rooms and common areas. The food was a highlight, with a diverse menu and dishes that truly impressed. A special thanks to Tolera, who stood out for his exceptional service and attention to detail – he truly made my stay extra special.
The beach is scenic but not the easiest for swimming due to rocks, corals, and sea urchins. I’d highly recommend bringing water shoes if you plan to explore the shallow areas or go snorkeling.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious experience. A huge thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable!

We spent a lovely evening at this hotel! The beauty of the island and the charm of the property certainly gave the effect. But the real treasure was the bar staff with their wonderful guys and the restaurant staff, where the beautiful and attentive Jordan charmed us. Here are the gems of the place. They will make us eager to return here again, and in the meantime we heartily recommend this hotel.

Very dated property, I felt like I was transported back to the 90s. Location is far from town and thus there's nothing in the vicinity but we had a car so it was fine. Food from the a la carte menu was really good, though service was rather slow. Breakfast buffet was okay but just enough. Annabelle from the recpetion was helpful on check in, and Emmanuel the restaurant manager offered us complimentary dessert from the buffet after he missed serving the starter that we ordered. Very quick service recovery, and it worked out well for us since the starter would have been too much for us to eat anyway. Have I already mentioned their really good food? We were upgraded to a room with bathtub, which we loved. However the room smelled, even after spraying air freshener. Other than that, room was spacious and the bed and pillows were sooo comfy. I'd take home the pillow if I could. Overall a decent stay.

My husband and I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seychelles - Allamanda Resort and Spa in the Seychelles, and while the location is absolutely beautiful, our experience at check-in and with many inconsistencies throughout our stay, much was left to be desired. Our overall experience was quite disappointing taking into consideration our visits to many other tropical islands, such as the Maldives and Hawaii, and considering that we have stayed in many Hilton properties. This particular one we paid USD $600 per night.
Negative Experience:
We arrived at the resort after a long international flight, hoping for a smooth check-in. However, we were told our room wasn’t ready and were asked to wait in the public lobby for over six hours. If this is a hotel policy, we can accept that, but given that we had been traveling all night and we had asked to pay for an early check-in, this was incredibly frustrating. Despite waiting for hours, we received no updates from the front desk about the status of our room. The staff, who appeared quite inexperienced and young, didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation, and there was no communication about when we could expect our room to be ready. Until the Manager came on duty, Doreen, the young reception staff were laughing at us and challenging us about writing a negative Hilton or Google review. One of the young male members of staff at the front (Dylan, who was tall and thin) actually said, “Do you think I care about a negative review?” as he proceeded to laugh at our faces. Although pleasant enough, Marie-Michelle was apathetic and instead of providing regular updates about our room availability, she was sitting slouched behind the reception desk for hours. Both their tones and attitudes completely changed once Doreen arrived, and she handled the situation extremely maturely and professionally, except she arrived just minutes before 2 pm, the actual check-in time. The staff at the front desk did not seem particularly concerned with the discomfort of having to wait for such a long period. Only when we decided to lay down on the lobby couch to rest, another hotel staff member advised of access to an air-conditioned lounge, which felt like a minimal attempt to address the situation. This lack of initiative and care was disappointing, especially given the high expectations that come with staying at a Hilton property, paying USD $600 a night for.
Conclusion:
While Hilton Allamanda is a beautiful resort with great potential, these inconsistencies in service detracted from what could have been a seamless and luxurious experience. I understand that small issues can arise, but when basic services fluctuate so noticeably, it begins to affect the overall guest experience. I would recommend the resort to those who are seeking a beautiful location, but I do hope they work on providing more consistent service across the board to match the expectations set by the Hilton brand.

Our recent 7-day stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Allamanda Seychelles was nothing short of perfect, and we owe it all to the outstanding staff and management who went above and beyond to make our holiday truly unforgettable.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt immediately at home. The team at the front desk, particularly Amir, were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was taken care of with genuine care and professionalism.
A special thanks to Emanuel and Chef Ewan, who made our dining experiences exceptional. Their attentiveness to our family’s needs, especially with our two young sons, was truly remarkable. They consistently went the extra mile to ensure that every meal was delightful, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for us all.
But it wasn’t just the named staff members who made our stay exceptional; it was clear that every single member of the DoubleTree Allamanda team was committed to providing excellent service. The warm smiles, helpful attitudes, and willingness to assist with any request made us feel truly valued as guests.
To the management team, thank you for leading such an extraordinary group of people. Your commitment to excellence is reflected in every aspect of the hotel, and it made our family holiday in Seychelles one that we will cherish forever.
We left with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime. We cannot wait to return to the DoubleTree by Hilton Allamanda Seychelles and experience your outstanding hospitality once again.
With sincere thanks,
