Overall the hotel is welcoming and friendly. It is clean and comfortable. Staff are as helpful as can be. Animation team however are pretty picky. Although can be seen walking about, they choose to only talk to a handful of people. We have been here a week and not one of them has acknowledge us. Entertainment all round is lacking despite advertising what is supposed to happen

The resort is run down. We booked a 4 star but it's 2 - 3 at best. The rooms were big and felt clean, bathroom with double sink, bathtub and shower. Plenty of cupboard spec. The pools are huge and a few are warmed up. The most positive thing about this place is the beach front and the snorkling, it's stunning. The only problem here is the staff seems to think they are entertaining at a rave party, the music is way too loud and not at all for the age range for the visitors. The service level, well they try, but they fail. The food is awful in all restaurants at the resort. The decor is awful. I recommend finding a different hotel, but do choose one at shark bay, if you like to snorkel.

I visited doubletree by hilton in February. The staff was wonderful. The food was excellent. We loved the location it was walking distance to Soho Square which my friend and I enjoyed visiting in the evening. The hotel had such a warm and friendly environment. They treated us like a family. My friend and I both enjoyed the massages and scrub.

Great size rooms. All we needed with kettle coffee etc and bottles of water every day. Food was very good, we read that the food was not warm but it was for us it was hot and plentiful. Great choices at every sitting. The waiters, barstaff, and cleaners were excellent and the towel display in our rooms were brilliant very artistic and different everyday. Walkable to Soho Square and The Queen Vic pub is a nice change. Our tour guide organised a great trip to see a mosque, a orthodox church and a copy of Cairo museum which was really good if you have not seen the real thing it's worth a look. A great option for winter sun and value for money can't be faulted. We were a family of 4 adults with 2 rooms. We were not at the beach side but we preferred that. There is a free bus down to the beach and back but it is walkable. I think we will come back again for sure. There is part of the pool heated, I had a lovely body scrub and Thai massage. This hotel has some on-going work being done but it did not disturb our peace once. Thanks for a great time and your staff are all fantastic they work so very hard they are a credit to the Hilton brand.

Overall the facilities at the hotel were great, lovely pools, gardens, beach and more. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Our room was a great size and really appreciated a bath as well as a shower. The staff were very kind and went above and beyond, we felt very welcome on our stay. We especially appreciated the towel displays the cleaners left us each day. Unfortunately I can not give 5 stars as the food was very disappointing. Overall most things we tried on our stay tasted very bland or fake. Puddings were dry, porridge was sloppy, chips soggy - these are a few things we experienced. There was also a lot of repetition of the same food. We didn’t feel the food was very healthy for us and cooked well enough. We struggled to understand why there were quite a few extra costs around the hotel for food when we paid for all inclusive, timings of snacks available only start at 13:00 but we found ourselves getting hungry before this, however there was nothing available anywhere to get us through to lunch. Cala on the beach that we paid for was lovely, so we were quite frustrated that the quality of food was lacking in our all inclusive package when it was so easily done at Cala. Nether the less we had a fabulous holiday but unfortunately had to find other places to eat for proper nutrition.
