Our hotel stay was fantastic. Staff were incredible- attentive, friendly, hard working and just amazing. From the chefs, cleaners, receptionists and lifeguards and all in between. Everyone was engaging and integrated with us on our stay. The food was lovely, always replenished and fresh! Lots of variety and nice that my children got to try lots of different and local cuisine. The pool was so clean and fresh, with a shallower part for littler guests. The hotel was right next to the beach and a short walk along the coastal path into santa Maria. We were able to book taxis and excursions through the hotel which suited us- maybe a bit more expensive, but as we had our children with us it felt safe and reliable. Me and my husband had a massage from the spa- the therapists were amazing and the spa was clean and tranquil. Our rooms were cleaned daily and bottled water provided. Everything was perfect for us and we would love to return!!

A lovely stay at Hilton Sal Cabo Verde and would certainly return again. Great location and friendly staff. Extremely clean and good choice of food. Rooms are a great size with comfy beds. Loved the bathroom! My only suggestion would be to have some (or more) entertainment in the evening as the bar has great cocktails but just no vibe in there. Thanks again for a great stay and will hopefully see you in 2026!

My stay at this hotel was overall reasonable, but it fell well short of expectations for a 5-star property. In terms of infrastructure, several issues stood out. The exterior doors of many rooms were visibly damaged. I also came across bath towels and bed sheets with holes, which I find completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The regular cleaning of the rooms left much to be desired. The floors were not properly cleaned, with visible debris both in the main areas and in the bathroom. The shower area, in particular, showed clear signs of poor hygiene. Additionally, the shower gel ran out and was not replaced, even after three nights and having notified the staff. As for the team, I did not find them particularly friendly or welcoming. However, I would like to highlight Sérgio at the reception, who was consistently helpful, polite and very professional. He deserves special recognition.

This is probably one of the nicest hotels we ever visited Our room was absolutely stunning in the ground floor , the bed was very comfortable and we weren’t hot at all or couldn’t hear any noises , loved the bath with the doors to the room like a big open room Water always available in the Room , super Powerful shower I honestly don’t bother normally with breakfast but I swear it was The highlight of the day Just seeing so many People around and such a good variety of ingredients My husband enjoyed every day his omelette The dinner buffet was great too ! The swimming pool is very big and not too crowded and there’s plenty of beds around plus you don’t need towels as they are included so don’t waste space in your suitcase ! There’s also hair dryer in the room Conditioner ( very important ) shampoo shower gel body cream and soap ! And Iron board and iron and there’s laundry service If needed it ! There’s also spa and Hairdresser available ! I think it’s a very complete hotel All the staff were so attentive from helping you with trips even to help with the Language when I struggle to book a car as was a bank holiday They have made our stay fantastic ❤️❤️

We had such a lovely stay at the Hilton in Sal, Cape Verde! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. A special mention for Maky, whose calm, friendly and incredibly helpful demeanor really stood out. Nothing was too much trouble. We decided partway through our stay that we wanted to upgrade to a room with a view of the beach (even though our original room had a huge terrace!), and Marco was so accommodating and made the whole process easy and pleasant. We loved the new room and the stunning view! Lamia was also so warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home. Everyone we interacted with made our stay genuinely relaxing and enjoyable. The location is ideal- right by the beach, with very easy access. Getting a taxi to the Santa Maria strip was simple, and the walk along the beach to get there was lovely, too. The entire property was spotless and well maintained, making it a very comfortable place to stay. We would absolutely choose to stay here again if we visit Cape Verde in the future. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so memorable!
