The hotel is easily accessible from the airport by taxi. The area around the hotel is safe, and it’s also safe to walk along the beach at night. The hotel is simple, in line with others in the chain. The furnishings are basic but functional. The suite I stayed in (with a double bed, living room, and kitchen) was adequately sized, on the ground floor with a view of the inner garden, pool, and beach. The bed was comfortable. There was a fridge, a safe, and useful accessories (like a flashlight for outdoor use and an umbrella for the monsoon season). The bathroom had fixed hygiene products that couldn’t be removed. There was also a TV with some satellite channels. The breakfast was decent, with some tropical fruit and various continental breakfast items. There was a station for made-to-order omelets and scrambled eggs. A couple of Asian dishes were available. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, offering great quality and prices. The hotel’s restaurant is good and a convenient option in bad weather. Prices are fair. There are several pools and a poolside bar offering excellent Asian dishes and decent international ones. The cocktails and fresh fruit smoothies served poolside are excellent, with fair prices that become great during happy hour. Next to the pool area is a pavilion for Thai massages. Despite being open-air and wall-less, the environment is relaxing and the massage enjoyable. Prices are in line with nearby centers, and discounts are available for special treatments (like balm massages) at the base price. From the pool area, you can access the private beach, which is clean and overlooks a beautiful, clear sea. The garden, pool, and common areas are constantly maintained, clean, and well-kept.

Well positioned, very clean, great breakfast especially for children, nice staff, rooms are tiny but we requested an upgrade to a bigger room and reception were really helpful, we booked a trip through the lovely lady in reception, laundrette and scooter hire plus a few bars and restaurants close by. Fisherman’s village was a half an hour walk, or the hotel offer a shuttle service. No beach due to high tide, but 3 nice pools, food and drink were expensive but as to be expected. We would not return here due to the amount of children present ( European school Holidays ) but we travelled Thailand and this was the only hotel with lots of children.

A truly relaxing stay at ibis Our stay at ibis was everything we hoped for and more. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach, with stunning ocean views, peaceful surroundings, and that magical tropical vibe that instantly puts you at ease. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome and cared for. Every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Toto from the restaurant team. Although he wasn’t there during breakfast, he made our lunches absolutely memorable. His kind smile, thoughtful service, and positive energy brought a special charm to every meal. It’s people like him who truly make a difference in the guest experience — thank you, Toto! The variety of food offered throughout the week was also impressive. From Thai favourites to Western comfort food, everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The only small downside was that the pool closed a bit early at 7 PM — we would have loved to enjoy a quiet swim under the evening sky. But honestly, that’s a minor detail in what was otherwise a perfect stay. We’re leaving feeling relaxed, happy, and very grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beachfront getaway with heart, soul, and great service.

Great location! We had the best view from room 4121 in building 5. The rooms are simple, but comfortable. Unfortunately, we experienced a bad smell coming from the toilet. However, the service was excellent — the staff truly did their best and we really appreciated their efforts. Breakfast was very basic, with not enough vegetables or variety. Still, for those looking for a budget-friendly hotel, this is a great solution.

Could not fault a thing. This stunning resort is fantastic for a longer stay on Samui. The location is on the beach and it’s a 10 minute ride to fisherman’s village. The room is spacious enough and comfortable. The staff are absolutely lovely and nothings too much. The pool area is a wonderful place to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and drinks that were on offer at the pool as well. We will be back next year, and for longer too!!!
