    I stayed at Nexus Resort in Kota Kinabalu for 3 days and it was the perfect place to relax in nature. The resort feels classic and elegant, set right in front of the beach, so you can enjoy both ocean and forest views at the same time. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was fairy good and dining options were nice. I especially loved the afternoon tea at the lobby café – it had a wide selection, a cozy atmosphere, and everything was look beautiful to enjoy. The swimming pool was spacious enough to use freely the highlight of my stay was definitely the sunset bar right by the sea. Watching the sunset while dining there was truly memorable and will stay with me for a long time.

    The room was great, with a panoramic ocean view. However, the check-in system needs improvement. Expect long waits. The resort's beach and pool are ideal for families. Because it's a bit far from the city center, it might be a good option for those seeking a relaxing getaway or those who prefer a quieter atmosphere.

    Very relaxing atmosphere, nice and quiet, and great value for money. Only critiques were that a lot of the restaurants were closed, but we enjoyed the food nonetheless. Also, we had a couple instances with customer service, however, they were very respectful. The resort offers a wide range of activities to keep busy, so you won’t get bored. Overall, a very lovely trip especially for a couple looking for a little getaway!

    We chose this hotel for our wedding and had an amazing experience! The staff deserves high praise!! they were exceptionally supportive and helpful throughout the entire planning phase and on the big day. We loved the location it’s ideal for anyone who prefers a peaceful, serene, and private escape, perfectly distanced from the busy city life. Despite the wonderful setting, there were a few noticeable drawbacks. There are some of guest rooms struggled with their air conditioning, never quite reaching a comfortable temperature, and the water heater system seemed unreliable, occasionally leaving us with cold showers at night. Most concerning, however, was the food quality: the dishes we tasted during the planning session were excellent, but the taste and preparation noticeably dropped for the wedding reception itself. I urge Nexus to look into these areas for future events 😁🫶

    I like the nature environment, really this is the best place I have found in Kota Kinabalu area. This place is far from the traffic, located between the woods, hills and ocean. The Beach is also kept clean. I snorkeled in the sea -- so clean. The breakfast is OK. Lunch menu have enough to satisfy everyone. Other water sports activities are provided as well as s number of enjoyment proposals.
