My friends and I recently stayed at the Olympic Lagoon Ayia Napa and it was genuinely the best hotel I've ever been to, worldwide. The hotel has the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment, creating an unforgettable 7-night stay as we celebrated my 18th birthday. What truly sets Olympic Lagoon apart is its unique village-like layout rather than cramming everyone into one large building. The atmosphere perfectly balances liveliness and tranquility – vibrant entertainment in the evenings, peaceful relaxation by the pools during the day. The resort features multiple pools including a main pool, adults-only pool (our favorite for its quieter atmosphere), a fun lazy river, and indoor pool. The evening entertainment is AMAZING – don't miss the QUEEN tribute band! Common areas are impeccably maintained with staff constantly ensuring everything remains pristine. We stayed in a Deluxe Superior Twin Room with pool/garden views and balcony. The room was spacious with comfortable beds (better than mine at home!), reliable WiFi, safety deposit box, well-appointed bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, and complimentary mini-fridge. Everything was immaculately clean, though the air conditioning wasn't consistently working. The staff truly made our stay extraordinary. Rene Marko, our waiter in the adults-only section of the main restaurant, went above and beyond with humor, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Karolina at the ice cream station, Andrea and Petra at the restaurants, and especially Susanna, our amazing room maid, all contributed to our exceptional experience. Check-in was seamless with refreshing juice and cool towels upon arrival. The food at Olympic Lagoon is ONE OF A KIND – I've never experienced buffet food of this quality. Six restaurants offer incredible variety: Royal Olympic (main buffet), Captain's Deck (amazing local cuisine), Garibaldi (7-course with live piano), Seven Orchids (Pan-Asian), The Greats (concept restaurant), and Rock n' Roll Diner (American-style). Pro tip: book ALL restaurants immediately upon arrival! The resort has three bars with excellent cocktails and the Snackaria offering all-day snacks. Olympic Lagoon is located about 15 minutes from Ayia Napa town. Landa Beach, just 5 minutes away, has crystal clear water and affordable amenities. The area feels extraordinarily safe even late at night, with good public transport (€3 bus) and affordable taxis. Everyone speaks perfect English and prices are remarkably lower than in the UK. Despite minor imperfections, I rate our experience 10/10. It's so impressive that I'm already planning to return with my entire family. While not a budget option, the quality, service, and experience fully justify the price. If you go, find Rene – he'll make your stay unforgettable!

Was told 6 days before my arrival that the hotel had a room allocation issue and could no longer accommodate my booking. So the hotel have knowingly overbooked and informed me via booking.com and an email which ended up in my junk folder. Shocking attitude toward customers. Now in the process of trying to save our holiday.

We have recently returned from our fourth stay at this brilliant hotel, many of the topics which I would usually touch upon have been addressed positively, but it is important to emphasise certain areas: - All staff were fantastic, they really do make such an effort to help ensure that your stay is a memorable and pleasant as possible. - Bar staff were brilliant, especially at the pool bar, it seems that they are worker harder and with more efficiency each time we visit. - Burger Bar - seems desperate to help in anyway possible & nothing is too much hard work. - we were kindly upgraded, but this room took us quite a distance away from our party, a member of which was disabled. We asked to be changed to a different room & this was of no difficulty to the hotel staff, we are grateful for their hard work in helping us seamlessly move. - compared to past stays, it felt as though the quality of the food across the board had improved, especially within the buffet restaurant - you would not get bored eating here each night if you felt so inclined. - our only criticism would be that the Teens Club could do with a bit of care as the pool table is pretty tatty, along with the table tennis table - I appreciate that it may have been a long summer, but it would be nice if they both were properly functioning. I appreciate that this could be seen as a very petty issue, but I know how much the children enjoy the use of these facilities. As to 2025, we cannot wait to go back.

We had super nice stay in that hotel. Food is good. Location is good. Territory of hotel is nice. There is kids club for kids under 3 age. Outside playground for kids. They upgraded our room for free. I liked terrace that we had. Big advantage that there is no loud music during the day and no disco in the evening (it was inside, so, no noise for people with kids). Only pillows could be better.

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! We stayed as a family with two adults, a 4-year-old, and a 1.3-year-old, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire resort was immaculate and well-maintained, with staff who were incredibly attentive and always ready to help with anything we needed. It’s fully equipped for a family-friendly stay, featuring a kids’ club, toddler club, complimentary quality alcohol, and delicious food. We dined at three of the resort’s restaurants: the main restaurant, the dinner venue, and “The Greats,” and each one was excellent, with consistently high-quality food. There’s also a Snackeria open throughout the day, offering treats like cookies, salads, sandwiches, coffee, and more. One standout feature was the reserved sunbeds by the pool. Each guest has their own sunbed for the entire stay, which makes a huge difference during busy times. While the hotel is a short taxi ride from the center of Ayia Napa, it’s within walking distance of a lovely beach, adding to its appeal. The only drawback was that the pool was uncomfortably cold, even for October. I understand it’s not the warmest time of year, but it would be great if at least the kids’ pool could be slightly warmer to allow for more comfortable swimming. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I’d highly recommend this hotel for families.
