I want to be fair and say that my stay was generally good. The room was comfortable, and the location was excellent. The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. However, I didn't enjoy the breakfast.
I was also charged 100,000 dong for my face towel, which had some tinted sunscreen on it. I find it ridiculous that I had to pay for the washing fee when I’ve already paid for my stay; I would have expected those costs to be included.

Three stars is due to trying to charge me for additional cleaning of towels. The hotel informed me a 200,000VND (over £6 and $8) per item for additional cleaning of stains that couldn’t be removed (even though they can be). This was told to me during our stay and I would have to pay before I check out. The day before checked out I complained as I felt this charge was not justified and looking at previous reviews that this was a common theme. I refused to pay and explained I felt unwelcome because of it and will not stay again in the hotel even though I had booked with them for when we returned in 10 days to Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel said it was because the agreement between them and the laundry service did not cover this. I said this is between the hotel and the laundry company and any charges should not be passed to hotel guests because of this oversight. After my complaint the hotel waved the charges which I am grateful for the front desk staff for handling. I did not return to the hotel due to original handling of this as they would have made pay if I didn’t complain. It should not have happened in the first place. I’ve been to Vietnam 5 times in the last 2 years and never experienced this at other hotels.
The rooms are clean and a good location. The breakfast buffet is a decent choice and selection for the hotel of this size.
Overall the hotel staff are helpful and polite but the management are out of touch with guests with these hidden laundry charges.

Let me take you on a journey. We arrived in HCMC full of eagerness and anticipation, dressed as typical tourists, to explore this wonderful city. Our stay was comfortable with the bedrooms offering suitable amenities and the service is friendly and courteous. The downside left a lot to be desired. The gym is in a single room (who ever did the photographs had cinematic freedom and did a great job) as the "fitness centre" consisted of 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, and a few weights crammed into a tiny room. Be warned of ordering room service or laundry as the prices are astronomical and it's easierand cheaper to walk down the street to get what you need at a fraction of the price. The breakfasts were decent and the cappuchino must be up there with one of the better ones I had. Again the service was friendly and courteous and made out stay pleasurable.

Great 4 stars hotel, right in the heart of the city, in district 1. It's close to many amenities, like shopping malls, eateries, bars, parks.. super easy to walk around or take a grab from there to explore the city.
The breakfast is varied, with both western and Asian options; it's located at the hotel restaurant at the first floor (AC room). A bit too fast the way the waiters clean up the tables.. stood up to get some drinks, and my plate - still filled with fruits - disappeared while I was away. The waste management can be improved.
The staff is polite and helpful, not all of them speak English but they'll immediately redirect you to a colleague to ease the communication.
The rooms are cleaned daily and they are quite spacious. The walls are a bit thin, if you have noisy neighbours you'll most likely hear them (that's depending on other people, not imputable to the hotel). On the bright side, no noise could be heard from the street.
There a pool at the 8th floor, good place to relax and have a drink at the end of a day spent sightseeing. Here it's a bit noisy, as the traffic in HCM in general is quite bad.
We also tried the restaurant for dinner once, a little overpriced compared to restaurants nearby but Asian food is good. Pizza is way far from the original one, so just stick to local dishes :)

Highly recommend this excellent 4-star hotel located off central HCMC. I was surprised by the quality of the interior and cleanliness. Well maintained, elegant interior, friendly staff and comfortable room. The pool water temperature was cold, but the poolside bar was fun. Small gym sufficient to satisfy cardio workouts. Good buffet breakfast. Great value!
