Really like this hotel. It is older, has two buildings, has spacious grounds and is peaceful. It doesn't have air conditioning and is a little bit out of town up a steep hill for those with mobility issues. Very clean, larger rooms, pleasant staff and good value for money.

Exceeded our expectations, breakfast and dinner buffet are different everyday. €5 daily charge for parking as we hired a car locally. Easy walk into town downhill. Complementary bottle of wine and water in room on arrival.
We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, the rooms were clean and accommodating. Breakfast was surprisingly great! we looked forward to it each morning, the hotel is tucked away in beautiful plants and flowers, it’s a great atmosphere to be in, not to mention the bar in the evenings was always top class. The walk is very steep, but it’s not bad to get your steps in after all the food we ate! Don’t let some negative reviews put you off, British people always think they’re the centre of the universe and the world must bend to their needs. For the price, this is a fantastic hotel, we highly recommend!!

Room a bit dated (albeit kept clean) and could do with some renovation. Balcony door very stiff and awkward to open resulting in the maid leaving it open when cleaning. Shower head broken but thankfully there was a waterfall rain shower as well, albeit with high pressure. Shower tray filled up quickly and would easily flood the bathroom so had to use water sparingly. Situated up a steep hill so unless you like steep climbs I wouldn't recommend. On a positive note, the food was lovely. No air con and rented fan was useless so another reason we wouldn't recommend.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Nice size rooms. Breakfast choices were excellent but dinner was less so. Lovely gardens to walk in. 3 pools but one was for nudies only! The town is quite a walk downhill but there is a minibus.
